A method for naming of members in a truss-bridge model by using the centroid information of solid objects (솔리드 객체의 도심을 이용한 트러스교 모델의 부재별 고유번호 부여 방법)

  • 본 논문은 교량의 안전진단을 위한 각 부재의 명명체계에 따라 직선형 교량모델의 각 부재에 대한 솔리드 객체의 고유번호를 일괄적으로 부여하기 위한 방법론을 제시한다. 개발된 방법론은 크게 3 단계의 프로세스로 이루어진다. 먼저, 부재의 종류별로 구분된 레이어로부터 각 부재에 대한 솔리드 객체의 도심을 추출하고, 이를 시점과 종점으로 이루어진 교축방향을 축으로 한 국부좌표계에 대해 변환한다. 이후 교축방향으로 정렬되는 객체를 식별하여 그룹핑하고 이를 교축 및 교축의 직각방향으로 순서로 정렬한다. 마지막으로 각 그룹 내 세그먼트들을 교축방향으로 정렬한다. 개발된 방법론에 따른 시범 응용모듈을 개발하였으며, 트러스 구조와 서로 다른 모델 좌표계를 가진 시범 교량모델을 대상으로 추출된 그룹의 개수와 각 객체의 명칭을 원래의 모델과 비교하여 그 적용성을 검토하였다.

Determination of Initial Tension and Reference Length of Cables of Cable-Stayed Bridges (사장교의 케이블 초기장력 및 기준길이 결정에 관한 연구)

  • This study presents the shape iteration method and the updated Lagrangian methods to calculate the initial tension and the reference length of cables of cable-stayed bridges. The girders and towers of cable-stayed bridge are modelled as 3-dimensional frame elements and the cable as nonlinear truss element or Ernst's cable element. Compared with the initial tensions of cables by finite element method in this study and by trial-and error method in practices, the tensions by the former are shown to be a little less than the those by the latter. The reference lengths of cables by Ernst's cable elements are almost consistent with those of cables by nonlinear truss elements. And the reference length of cables in this study are almost consistent with the arc length of beam with the same initial tension. Therefore the reference lengths of cables in cable-stayed bridges are shown to be obtained simply by the theory of beam with the initial tension calculated in this study.

  • 김천시 및 경부고속도로를 통과하는 8-2공구는 고속철도구간 중 최고 난공사 구간중의 하나로서 (주)대우건설컨소시엄에 의해서 수행되었는데 건설초기 원가 절감과 공기완수라는 목표를 두고 전면적인 설계검토를 착수하였다. 교량구간이 전체 연장중 절반이 넘는 9.6km이므로 교량에서 대안 설계가 중점적으로 검토되었고 이에 따라 PSM(Precast Span Method)공법이 적용되었다. (토목학회지1999. 6.) PSM공법은 25m 경간이므로 도로, 철도등을 통과하는 구간에는 한계가 있어 50m 경간의 강합성교량을 적용하였다. (중략)

A Study on Dynamic Response of Truss Bridge due to Moving Train Loads (열차하중의 주행에 의한 트러스교의 동적응답에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, dynamic response of a truss bridge due to constantly moving train loads is analysed. Dynamic response of the bridge is found by the mode superposition method with the solution of the eigenvalue problem by Householder transformation and QL algorithm. To prove the validity of the analysis procedure, the response due to a very slowly moving load is compared with the result from the static analysis program, and the dynamic response is also compared with the result from the direct integration method. Based upon this, the variation of dynamic amplification factors is investigated by changing the train types and speeds, and the result is compared with the code specified impact factor. From this study, it was known that the dynamic amplification factor is not quite different by train types in low speeds but in high speeds it is, and in the case of electric car and U. I. C. loads the factor could exceed the code specified impact factor depending upon the speed.

  • The number of railway bridges in Korea reaches to about 3,000. Among them, the ratio of steel bridges is about 47%. Most of the long span railway bridges take the truss type, its number is 15 in Korea. These bridges have more than 30 years service life, it is expected that the damages of cracks and corrosion is going. Therefore, the estimation of fatigue life with random stress is considered as significant subject in maintenance. In this paper, the random stress was measured in bridges and counted the stress cycles using the rainflow counting method So, the stress range frequencies and their equivalent stress are obtained and the amplification factor for the span length, bridge types and traveling speed is assessed by the dynamic testing. From the results, the stress range of the stringer and the lower chord is higher than the other members and the characteristics of the stress histogram is varied to the loading system and the amount of the passing through trains. And the impact effects are depended on the traveling speed as well as the span length.

  • Finite element analyses are conducted with stochastic elastic moduli when truss structures are subjected to static loads of a deterministic nature. Stochastic stiffness matrix is derived from stochastic shape functions and numerical analyses are performed within the framework of the Monte Carlo method. Analysis methods are verified for the space truss and applied to cable stayed bridge for determining the cable force.

  • 본 연구에서는 전역적-국부적 구조건전성 모니터링을 위한 무선센서노드로서 가속도 및 임피던스 응답신호의 계측이 가능한 다기능 무선센서노드를 개발하였다. 이를 위해 첫째, 가속도 및 임피던스 응답의 계측이 가능한 다기능 무선센서노드를 설계 및 제작하였다. 둘째, 다기능 무선센서노드의 성능검증을 위하여 트러스교 모형을 대상으로 진동실험을 수행하였다. 셋째, 다기능 무선센서노드로부터 취득된 가속도 및 임피던스 응답을 이용하여 트러스 구조물의 구조 건전성 모니터링을 통해 다기능 무선센서노드의 적용성을 검증하였다.

  • This study examines the stability of Sungsu bridge which was issued nine years ago because of its collapse accident and now is on the progress of extension work in each construction stage by construction monitoring system. From this study, the measured value in each construction stage of anchorage truss and suspended truss shows the agreement with the analytical values up to 60~110 percents, and the elements' stresses emanating from the pre-loading stage, are also similar to the analytical value. Regarding these results, it is expected that each member has enough stiffness and the construction condition is satisfactory. In addition, it is expected that the transverse members and sway bracing bolts integrate completely the existing truss and new attached truss as a one body from the result of the vibration test to find out the integration rates.
