Computation of the Shortest Distance of Container Yard Tractor for Multi-Cycle System (다중 사이클 시스템을 위한 실시간 위치 기반 컨테이너 야드 트랙터 최단거리 계산)

  • A container terminal productivity is maximized by a minimized time for processing containers. So, we have been elevated the container terminal productivity through an improvement of computing system, but there are a limitation because of problems for transportation management and method. A Y/T(Yard Tractor), which is a representative transportation, is able to do only one process, loading or unloading, at one time. So if the Y/T can do loading and unloading step by step at a same time, the processing time would be shortened. In this paper, we proposed an effective operating process of Y/T(Yard Tractor) Multi-Cycle System by applying RTLS(Real Time Location System) to Y/T(Yard Tractor) in order to improve the process of loading and unloading at the container terminal. For this, we described Multi-Cycle System. This system consists of a real time location of Y/T based on RTLS, an indicating of Y/T location in real time with GIS technology, and an algorithm(Dijkstra's algorithm) of the shortest distance. And we used the system in container terminal process and could improve the container terminal productivity. As the result of simulation for the proposed system in this paper, we could verify that 9% of driving distance was reduced compared with the existing rate and 19% of driving distance was reduced compared with the maximum rate. Consequently, we could find out the container performance is maximized.

  • 국내 농업에서 토양의 반전, 쇄토, 배토, 가능한 복합작업기인 무동력 디스크해로우 방식의 경운과 배토 고효율 복합작업기의 수요가 증가 하고 있다. 경운작업에서 일련의 과정은 작물의 생육과 관리차원에서 큰 의미를 지니며 작물재배의 첫 단계로 중요시 다루어져야할 과정이다. 이러한 작업기의 성능 시험에서 포장시험을 통해 복합기의 신뢰도와 실제 필드에서 발생하는 문제들을 포괄적으로 해결 할 수 있는 방안이 필요하다. 토양 경작을 위한 농업기기의 작업 저항은 식물 생산에서 유용성을 평가하는 가장 중요한 지표중 하나이다. 작업 저항(수평, 수직 방향의 힘)은 트랙터의 힘에 의해 생성된 동작을 방해하므로 토양 경운 시 에너지 소비를 결정하고 설계 매개 변수 측면에서 최적의 작업 조건을 결정하는 데 중요한 영향을 미친다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 경상대학교 내 위치한 실험동에서 Soil-bin에 이송장치를 설치한 후, 이송장치에 디스크 해로우 (Multidisc Vario, Tulip Agri., Netherlands)를 부착하여 실험을 진행하였다. 디스크 해로우의 원주 평면과 수직 평면 사이의 각 a(토양 표면에 수직)와 디스크의 해로우의 원주 평면과 작업 방향 사이의 각 b의 값을 독립 변수로 두고 a, b를 변화 시키면서 발생하는 이송장치의 견인력을 측정하여 농가 및 효율적인 경운작업 시 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.

Field Data Collection and Failure Analysis for Durability Improvement (내구수명향상을 위한 서비스 데이터 수집 및 고장률 분석)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a reliability estimation process of agricultural machinery components using field failure data. Estimating the durability is a time-consuming in the product development process. Using the field data of tractor, failures for major parts are investigated and databases are developed. Accelerated life test using the stress analysis could improve Weibull B10 considerably. This estimation process is useful for preparing the design input and planning the durability target.

The Yarding Productivity and Cost of Cable Yarding Operation by Yarder Attached on Trator -Using the Chuncheon Tower-yarder - (트랙터부착 집재기를 이용한 집재작업 분석 -춘천집재기를 중심으로 -)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the productivity and the operational costs of the Chuncheon Tower-yarder, a skyline yarding system used in Korea. Detailed time study data were collected from 4 thinning sites in Japanese larch (Larix leptolepis) stands; one site for uphill yarding and three sites for downhill yarding. This study derived regression models to estimate the average cycle time (sec.) for uphill and downhill yarding. The average yarding cost was $12,844won/m^3$ for uphill yarding, while downhill yarding cost was $13,221won/m^3$. The average yarding time was 239 sec/cycle for uphill yarding, while downhill average yarding time was 274 sec/cycle. We found that uphill yarding productivity was higher when the operation system was examined under the same work conditions (i.e. standardized comparison) except yarding directions for both uphill yarding and downhill yarding.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the operational time and productivity of logging operation by chain saw, yarder attached on tractor, tower-yarder, mini-truck, mini-forwarder, and chipping operations by mini-chipper, large-chipper in order to develop the efficient logging operation system for utilization of forest-biomass. As a result, the average felling and bucking time using chain saw at the site 1 and 2 was observed to be 182.7 sec/cycle and 518.5 sec/cycle respectively. The average yarding time was 202.5 sec/cycle using yarder attached on tractor and 295.1 sec/cycle using tower-yarder. The average forwarding time was 2,073 sec/cycle using mini-truck and 2,248.4 sec/cycle using mini-forwarder. The operational time of felling and bucking using chain-saw can be delayed according to the direction of fallen trees. The selection of felling direction is very important to yarding operation because the direction between width-yarding and felling are interrelated. Productivity can be improved through educating and training operators in the yarding operations. Mini-forwarder is needed to use because of higher productivity and lower cost than mini-truck. The operational productivity of felling and bucking by chain saw was $66.96m^3/man{\cdot}day$ and $43.86m^3/man{\cdot}day$ at site 1 and 2 respectively. The yarding productivity was $5.68m^3/man{\cdot}day$ by yarder attached on tractor, $10.74m^3/man{\cdot}day$ by tower-yarder. The forwarding productivity was $21.29m^3/man{\cdot}day$ by mini-truck, $28.57m^3/man{\cdot}day$ by mini-forwarder. The chipping productivity was $4.42m^3/man{\cdot}day$ by mini-chipper, $21.87m^3/man{\cdot}day$ by large-chipper.

Development of a Mobile Tower-yarder with Tractor (I) - Design and Manufacture - (트랙터부착형 타워집재기 개발(I) - 설계 및 제작-)

  • This study was conducted to develop a mobile tower-yarder with tractor for agriculture and forestry that is the efficient yarder in steep terrains, thinning operation and small scale logging operation. It was designed and manufactured that the power source of tower-yarder is equiped three hydraulic pump connected to PTO of tractor, and three hydraulic pump is used to operate the four motor for drum, the cylinder for clutch of interlocker, the cylinder for tower expanding and the out-rigger cylinder. It was to adopt the running skyline system and the inter-lock function, and to equip the double capstan drum, the storage drum and the clutch for interlock in the development of tower-yarder. It was to develop the tower-yarder which the winch torque of double-capstan drum, the traction force of double-capstan drum, the number of rotation of double-capstan drum and the line speed is $191kg{\cdot}m$, 1,910 kgf, 220.5 rpm and 138.5 m/min, respectively. And it was known that the optimum flange diameter of the main and haulback storage drum is about 360 mm and about 460 mm in order to storage the main line length of 250m and the haulback line length of 450 m. The carriage was made to adopt the running skyline system and to equip the lock function in order to the convenience of chocking and the fall down preventing of tree. It was provided to develop the wire remote controller for the inter-lock function, the convenience of control and the efficiency of yarding. In development process, this tower-yarder was attached the 3-point linkage hitch equipment and the tire wheel for the traction and moving of tower-yarder. Also, it was equipped that the out-rigger and the guy line in order to raise the safety and efficiency of yarding of tower-yarder.

Current Status and the Way Forward for Fruit Harvesting Mechanization (과수 수확작업 기계화 현황 및 추진방향)

  • 연구목적: 국내 과일 산업의 한 단계 도약과 대외 경쟁력을 높이기 위해서는 수확작업의 기계화가 시급함. 이 연구는 국내외 과일 수확 기계화 현황과 문제점을 분석하고, 향후 수확작업 기계화 방향을 제시하고자 수행 수확기계 실용화 현황 및 고찰 (국내) 과일을 직접 수확이 아닌 수확 작업을 보조해주는 고지 작업기(수동형, 모터 진동형)와 고소 작업차가 대부분임. 수동형은 사과 감 등을 수확하지만, 작업능률이 낮고 작업자가 쉽게 피로하여 장시간 작업이 불가능하므로 실질적인 대안이 되지 못함. 진동형은 자체 동력을 이용하여 나무에 진동을 가하여 주로 대추 매실 등 소과류 수확에 이용되고, 수확능률은 우수하나 충격 손상이 많아 개선이 요구됨. 고소작업차는 동력원에 따라 충전식과 엔진식으로 구분되고, 충전식은 엔진식에 비해 진동 소음이 적어 쾌적하지만, 작업시간이 배터리 용량에 제한을 받음. 또한 작업대 작동방식에 따라 리프트형과 붐형으로 구분함. 리프트형은 리프트를 이용하여 작업대를 상하로 구동하는 방식으로 높은 위치의 과실 수확이 어렵고, 작업대 넓이 만큼의 작업 공간(과수간의 거리)이 필요함. 붐형은 필요한 곳으로 접근성이 우수하나 무거운 무게를 지탱하기 어렵기 때문에 본체를 무겁게 하거나 수시로 수확된 과일을 하차시켜야 함. (국외) 수확 후 가공되는 과일류와 포도 올리브 오렌지 매실 등 소과류 수확이 기계화되었지만, 사과 복숭아 등 신선과일은 아직도 외국의 값싼 노동자들에 의존하여 수확되고 있음. 현재 실용화된 수확 기계는 진동식 수확기계와 터널식 수확기계가 대표적임. 진동식은 집게형의 부착기를 나무 줄기에 고정한 후 트랙터 동력원으로 나무에 진동을 가하여 수확하고, 올리브 대추 등과 같은 소과류와 과피가 두꺼운 오렌지 등에 적용되고, 수확 작업능률이 매우 높으나 과일의 낙하 상처를 피할 수 없는 단점이 있음. 터널형은 규격화(과수 크기 및 형태, 재식거리)된 과수원에 잘 적응하도록 설계 제작되어, 과수 위를 지나가면서 내부에 설치된 진동장치와 컨테이너로 과일을 수확하고, 와인용 포도 수확기가 대표적임. 기계수확이 가능하도록 과수원 조성단계에서부터 재배양식(과수 좌우 및 전후 거리)을 기계의 제원(바퀴 간격, 작업부 간격 등)에 맞추어 재배함. 과일 수확로봇에 관한 연구는 활발하고 일부에서 실증시험단계에 있음. 결론: 구체적인 추진방향을 제시하면, 단기적으로는 과일 수확작업자의 작업편이성과 노동강도를 줄일 수 있도록 소형 저가 범용성이 우수한 보조기구/기계의 보급을 확대하고, 중장기적으로는 수확기계/수확로봇 개발을 위한 연구개발비 투자를 늘리는 동시에, 기계/로봇이 과수원에 잘 적응할 수 있도록 수형 재식거리 등 재배양식의 표준화가 추진되어야 함.

Experimental Study on the Drawbar Pull and Structural Safety of an Onion Harvester Attached to a Tractor (트랙터 부착형 양파수확기의 작업 속도에 따른 견인 부하와 구조 안정성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • Recently, due to labor shortages in rural areas within South Korea, the demand for upland-field machinery is growing. In addition, there is a lack of development of systematic performance testing of upland-field machinery. Thus, this study examined structural safety and drawbar pull based on soil properties, as a first step for systematic performance testing on the test bed. First, the properties of soil samples from 10 spots within the experimental site were examined. Second, the strain was measured and converted into stress on 8 points of an onion harvester that are likely to fail. More specifically, the chosen parts are linked to the power, along with the drawbar pull, using a 6-component load cell equipped between the tractor and the onion harvester. The water content of the soil ranged between 5.7%-7.5%, and the strength between 250-1171 kPa. The test soil was subsequently classified into loam soil based on the size distribution ratio of the sieved soil. The onion harvester can be considered as structurally safe based on the derived safety factor and the drawbar pull of 115-1194 kgf, according to the working speed based on agricultural fieldwork.

Development of a Pre-treating Equipment and the Carcass Disposal System for Infected Poultry (감염가금 전처리 및 폐사가축 처리시스템 개발)

  • When we bury the infected poultry into the ground, we have many problems such as the difficulty of making sufficient area for burying, environmental contamination by the leachate, unpleasant ordor. Also, in case of burning the carcass of the infected poultry, there are some problems such as high cost, dust, unpleasant odor, etc. It could cause environmental contamination which many peoples and environmental organization complains about. In this study, we develop a treating system which treats the infected poultry carcass in a environmental method preventing the environment contamination. This system is composed of many processes. The euthanasia system uses rigid vinyl to trap and to do a euthanasia the infected poultry with lethal gas, carbon dioxide. And then, with the tractor attached grappler infected poultry carcass could be put into the carcass treating system. The euthanasia system uses rigid vinyl to trap the infected birds and to confine lethal gas, carbon dioxide. Infected poultry carcass are moved to carcass disposal system by collecting device which is attached at tractor. The carcass treatment system (capacity of disposal : 6.3 $m^3$) is installed on a truck and do one pass work, which is input, crush, stir, sterilize, and discharge treated carcass. 1,000 chickens was killed within 9.7min by $CO_2$ (300L/min) in the tent (10 $m^3$). The collecting device could carry 142 chickens at a time, and the movable carcass treatment system could sterilize 2 tons carcass per hour (at one time). This treatment systems was eco-friendly because it reduced the volume of carcass by 31.9% with no wastewater generation.

Survey for Uniform Application of Fertilizer Distributor (비료 살포기의 균일 살포를 위한 현황 조사)

  • 비료 살포는 작물 생장 촉진을 위하여 반드시 필요한 작업이며 재배 관리의 반 이상을 차지하는 중요한 농작업이다. 비료 사용은 양분 공급과 토양의 물리 화학성 개선 등 여러 이점이 있으나 최근에는 과도한 비료 사용으로 양분의 불균형 등의 문제점이 대두되고 있다. 또한 수작업으로 비료를 살포할 시 유해한 성분이 피부에 흡수되고 작업 능률이 낮기 때문에 비료 살포기의 필요성을 가진다. 현재 시중에 판매되고 있는 비료 살포기는 고속의 기류를 이용하여 비료를 날리는 방법과 중력으로 낙하시키는 방법, 원심력을 가하여 멀리 날려 보내는 방법 등이 있다. 그 중 중력으로 낙하시키는 방법과 고속 기류를 사용하는 방법은 석회, 퇴비, 규산질 비료 살포에 부적절함으로 원심력을 이용한 비료 살포가 많이 사용된다. 하지만 원심력을 이용하여 날리는 방법은 구조가 단순하여 비료가 균일하게 확산되지 않고 트랙터의 이동 속도에 따라서 비료의 살포량이 달라진다. 그에 따라 과도한 비료 살포로 이어지며 토지 또한 양분의 불균형 등으로 환경의 문제점이 대두되고 있다. 국내에서는 균일 살포를 위하여 비료 살포기의 내부 날개의 각도를 조절하여 비료 살포의 패턴을 분석하는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 균일 살포의 중요성은 더욱 대두되고 있지만 현재 균일 살포에 대한 연구가 많이 부족한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 비료 살포기에 균일 살포를 위한 설계 인자를 도출하기 위해 살포기를 분석하여 원심식 비료 살포기의 균일 살포를 위한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다.
