A Semantic-based Video Retrieval System using Design of Automatic Annotation Update and Categorizing (자동 주석 갱신 및 카테고라이징 기법을 이용한 의미기반 동영상 검색 시스템)

  • In order to process video data effectively, it is required that the content information of video data is loaded in database and semantic- based retrieval method can be available for various query of users. Currently existent contents-based video retrieval systems search by single method such as annotation-based or feature-based retrieval, and show low search efficiency and requires many efforts of system administrator or annotator form less perfect automatic processing. In this paper, we propose semantic-based video retrieval system which support semantic retrieval of various users by feature-based retrieval and annotation-based retrieval of massive video data. By user's fundamental query and selection of image for key frame that extracted from query, the agent gives the detail shape for annotation of extracted key frame. Also, key frame selected by user become query image and searches the most similar key frame through feature based retrieval method that propose. Therefore, we design the system that can heighten retrieval efficiency of video data through semantic-based retrieval.

  • Recently the mobile IPTV service has been spread through the wireless LAN(WLAN). In order to provide the commercial mobile IPTV service through the WLAN, re-authentication for the mobile IPTV terminal is required whenever the mobile terminal roams between APs(Access Points). The most popular one of the authentication protocol standards for the wired and/or wireless LAN is IEEE 802.1X. However IEEE 802.1X takes much time to authenticate the terminal and is not adequate for the seamless mobile IPTV service. We introduce the session key and separate the user authentication and the hardware authentication. And we strengthen the device authentication by the initial registration. By these, the proposed authentication protocol reduces the authentication time and can protect the authentication key securely.

  • Recently, the importance of non-face-to-face has been emphasized due to COVID-19, and the use of sharing spaces is also expanding. The use of uncontact check-in technology for access control of sharing spaces reduces waiting time and optimizes workers' efficiency, resulting in operational cost savings. In this paper, we propose a sharing space access management system based on a mobile key and RCU (Room Control Unit), access to the facility using a mobile key, and monitor the facility using an RCU. Proposal system is for shared accommodation, rental field (residence, sale-selling hotel), shared office, etc. when there is a one-time visitor on a specific day and time, the corresponding password is delivered to the mobile platform to expose and key the existing password. It is supported by a field-adaptive system that can reduce discomfort such as delivery. In order to test the operation of the proposed integrated system, tests were conducted according to scenarios to understand the overall status of the user's reservation, check-in, and check-out, and a 100% success rate was derived for each item by setting performance indicators to prove test reliability.

2004 대한민국게임대전- 국내 최대 게임쇼 ‘세계적 게임잔치로 탈바꿈’

  • 그간 국내 최대 게임쇼로 위상을 정립해 왔던‘대한민국게임대전(KAMEX)’이 올해를 끝으로 내년부터는 명실상부한 세계적 게임잔치로 탈바꿈할 전망이다. 정보통신부와 문화관광부는 지난달 24일 문화,디지털콘텐츠 산업발전을 위한 제1차 국장급 정책협의회를 열고 내년 11월 10일부터 사흘간 경기도 일산의 한국국제전시장(KINTEX)에서 세계적인 규모의 게임전시행사인‘대한민국게임쇼’(가칭)를 공동 개최키로 합의했다. ‘대한민국게임쇼’는 기존 대한민국게임대전, 한국국제엔터테인먼트산업전시회(KOPA)등 각종 게임 관련 행사를 아우르는 명실상부한 통합 전시회로 매년 치러질 예정이다. 지난달 25일부터 4일간 코엑스에서 화려하게 진행된‘2004 대한민국게임대전’의 이모저모를 살펴봤다.

  • Since 1996, the document exchange method by EDI has been introduced in port and logistics industries in Korea to enhance the declaration activities to the Pusan Port Authority and Customs. In spite of these efforts, users such as shipping companies, shipping agents, and freight forwarders have complained the inconvenience of using EDI systems. The major reasons can be summarized as follows: repetitional EDI transfer, too much transfer time, inconvenient EDI software, and problems on message receiving confirmation. Furthermore, EDI has been used only for transmitting messages. To solve these problems, this study has adopted the integration system by applying the concept of SCM to logistics system by XML/EDl. In the view of SCM, the existing EDI has some problems because its role is only to transmit the messages. This paper is to suggest how current EDI systems in Port and logistics sector has to be chanced by Introducing SCM. The integration system gives us such advantages as accuracy of cargo data, integration of processes among firms, and keeping the trace of cargo.

  • RFID 플랫폼 환경을 위한 인증 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 동적인 분산 환경, 한 번의 인증으로 여러 서비스를 이용할 수 있어야 하고, 많은 데이터 처리와 열악한 컴퓨팅 환경에 대한 고려가 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 RFID 플랫폼 환경을 위한 통합 인증 모델로서 Kerberos Version 4를 이용하여 Single Sign-On 개념을 적용하고 대칭키 인증 시스템을 사용한다. 또한 단순한 권한 관리를 위해서 RBAC를 이용한 권한 관리 모델을 제시한다.

This POS system has four advantages. First, Because there is no server, need not to attempt authentication and data transmission every time. Second, can integrate data base by XML and improve portability of program itself. Third, XML data in data transmission because transmit data after encryption data safe .Fourth, After encode whenever process data for data breakup anger of POS system client program and elevation of the processing speed, transmit at because gathering data at data transmission.
