But The Past method is inconsistent and depends on local and global databases. In this paper, we propose the management method of schema confilct using XML that can represent and interchange the structual information of schema.

자바의 Jini 기술을 이용하여 네트웍에 분산된 Java 컴포넌트 소프트웨어를 동적으로 통합하기 위한 방법론을 제안한다. 통합대상 개별 컴포넌트는 Jini 인터페이스(interface)를 구현하도록 설계하거나 혹은 기존 컴포넌트를 포장한 것으로서 네트웍에 구성된 Jini federation 에 Jini Service 오브젝트로서 공개된 것이다. 통합의 주체는 Service Discovery Manager 와 같은 특별한 Jini 헬퍼클래스 기반으로 작성된 클라이언트 프로그램이다. 클라이언트는 지정된 조건 (Entry 오브젝트)을 충족하는 컴포넌트 소프트웨어를 네트웍으로부터 Service Template를 이용하여 검색, 다운로드 한 후 단일한 GUI 를 가지는 프로그램에 통합한다. 필요한 컴포넌트만을 필요할 때 사용할 수 있고, 영구 설치의 필요성이 없으므로 소프트웨어 개발과 배포에 대한 새로운 관점을 제시할 것으로 판단된다.

In this paper we present a novel approach for image retrieval using color and edge information. We take into account the HSI(Hue, Saturation and Intensity) color space instead of RGB space, which emphasizes more on visual perception. In our system colors in an image are clustered into a small number of representative colors. The color feature descriptor consists of the representative colors and their percentages in the image. An improved cumulative color histogram distance measure is defined for this descriptor. And also, we have developed an efficient edge detection technique as an optional feature to our retrieval system in order to surmount the weakness of color feature. During the query processing, both the features (color, edge information) could be integrated for image retrieval as well as a standalone entity, by specifying it in a certain proportion. The content-based retrieval system is tested to be effective in terms of retrieval and scalability through experimental results and precision-recall analysis.

Most of Korean Medical researcher is using MEDLINE which is made by National Library of Medicine in U.S. However we have not such total database of medical information. And so, we have designed medical literature article system, serial union cataloging system and interlibrary loan system as library total system. All Korean Medical Association member input bibliographic data and holding data. Medical researcher can access medical literature article system at www and then access holding data and they can use interlibrary loan system in online. The object of this total system is that medical researcher as well as medical librarian can easily retrive medical literature and gain original article.

현재의 웹 검색은 단순히 키워드 매칭만을 수행하기 때문에 검색 결과가 사용자가 원하는 정보와는 의미적으로 상이한 결과들을 많이 포함하고 있다. 사용자가 원하는 정보와 의미적으로 정확히 일치하는 정보들을 추출하기 위해서는 웹 자원에 대한 정확한 의미 부여와 함께, 이를 파악하고 선택적으로 획득, 통합, 가공할 수 있는 온톨로지와 같은 시맨틱 웹 환경요소들이 필요하다. 웹 기술 표준화 단체인 W3C에서는 이와 같은 웹 자원에 대한 의미표현 기술로 OWL(Web Ontology Language)이라는 웹 온톨로지 표현 언어를 발표하였으나 아직 이를 효과적으로 저작, 편집할 수 있는 도구는 전무한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문은 OWL을 기반으로 하여 온톨로지의 생성 및 편집을 효과적으로 제공할 수 있는 통합된 저작도구를 설계 및 구현하였다.

Generally, either caption-based search method or content-based search methods is used to retrieve video information. However, each search method has its limitations. Caption-based search is apt to lose consistency as for user's subjects, and content-based search is hard to extract general means. To enhance efficiency and correctness as for complementing each other, we propose the Integrated Video Data Model(IVDM) which integrates the two search methods, to device the model, we analyze video data and construct the structure of video information hierarchically. IVDM supports caption-based search as assigning meta-data by analyzing thematic-unit in the higher level, and also supports content-based search as extracting feature data by analyzing the content of video data in the lower level. We design Object-Oriented database schema of news video, based-on the IVDM. And we provide 4-type of queries and query processing algorithm to retrieve news video information.

최근에는 웹 환경에 적합한 개방형과 컴포넌트들을 효율적으로 분류하고 추출하는 방법이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문은 개발환경에서 생성되는 산출물들 중 디자인패턴을 통합 관리하고, 추출, 검색하여 관리해 주는 인덱스순서관계정보모델을 설계 구현한다. 이 제안의 장점은 "인덱스 순서관계정보"로 클래스들 사이의 관련된 여러 관계정보를 UML 설계방법에 적응할 수 있는 구조로 변형할 수 있다. 두 번째 장점은 개발자가 인덱스 순서관계 정보에서 제공하는 정보를 가지고 관계정보를 쉽게 파악할 수 있으며, 디자인 패턴을 쉽게 추출함으로서 개발자는 설계정보에 쉽게 적용할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 검색시간과 추출의 효율성을 입증하기 위해 시뮬레이션을 실시하여 향상된 기능을 입증하였다. 이 모델은 급변하는 소프트웨어 산업에 능동적으로 대체와 소프트웨어 개발에 시간을 단축함으로써 현존하는 다양한 디자인 패턴들을 최소한의 코드 수정을 통하여 재설계 함으로써 소프트웨어 개발 경제성을 높이는 데 있다.

연구개발 활동을 지원하는 웹서비스 ScienceON은 논문, 특허, 연구보고서, 정책동향 정보뿐만 아니라 연구에 필요한 다양한 기능과 인프라를 통합적으로 제공하고 있다. 하지만 개인 데스크톱에서 활용이 용이한 검색 중심의 웹서비스는 언제 어디서나 쉽게 학술정보를 활용하고자 하는 사용자 요구를 충족시키기 어려운 문제가 있다. 연구자가 모바일 환경에서 쉽게 학술정보를 이용할 수 있는 환경을 제공하기 위해 본 논문에서는 검색 중심이 아닌, 개인의 관심정보와 논문 저자 식별 기반의 논문 피딩(feeding) 프로세스를 제안한다. 관심 분야 및 키워드 기반의 최신논문과 인기논문을 실시간으로 제공하고, 공저자 네트워크 및 저자 식별정보를 활용하여 최적화된 추천 논문을 제공한다. 또한 논문 중심의 커뮤니티를 제공하여 연구 활동 및 논문에 관한 다양한 의견 교환 채널로도 활용될 수 있다.

본 고에서는 초고속 인터넷 서비스를 위해 기존 IP 도메인 네임 서비스 체계를 초고속 ATM 망에 확장하는 방안에 대하여 설명한다. 이를 위해 먼저 ATM 네이밍 서비스 구조와 통신방식에 대하여 검토하며, IP-DNS와 연동 방안을 설명한다. 다음으로 ANS(ATM Name System)를 이용한 정보검색과 네이밍 서비스 제공 방안을 설명한다.
