Creating digital document by scanning paper or using a digital camera or using a computer is a daily task at every office. Digital document is increasing at high pace. The quantity of digital document is almost beyond the maximum capacity of the online storage and is destroying searching efficiency. To solve these problems, we developed a document management system(ChronoStar) by integrating various searching methods(Picture, Full-Text Related), 3D graphic and a DVD changer.

Assuming that the knowledge creation and retrieval functions could be the most important factors for a successful knowledge management(KM) especially during the promotion stage of KM, this study suggests an e-learning application as one of best methods for producing knowledge and also the integrated knowledge repository model in which learning, knowledge. and information objects can be semantically associated through topic map-based knowledge map. The traditional KM system provides a simple directory-based knowledge map. which can not provide the semantic links between topics or objects. The proposed model can be utilized as a solution to solve the above-mentioned disadvantages of the traditional models. In order to collect the basic data for the proposed model, first, case studies utilizing interviews and surveys were conducted targeting at three Korean insurance companies' knowledge managers(or e-learning managers) and librarians. Second, the related studies and other topic map-based pilot systems were investigated.

The Semantic Web enables machines to achieve an effective retrieval, integration, and reuse of web resources. The keyword search method currently used has a limit to accurate search results because of a simple string matching method in web environment. This paper proposes an Ontology-Based Information Retrieval which can solve the problems and retrieve better search results through semantic relations. In this system, we implemented the Cultural Assets Ontology based on OWL with RDQL and Jena API. we also suggest a method to handle properties stored in a database.

지금까지 음악 정보 검색을 위한 다양한 내용 기반 음악 검색 및 비교 방법이 제안되었다. 그런데, 기존 연구들은 질의 방식 및 검색 카테고리가 변화함에 따라 상이한 방법을 제시하고 있어 음악 검색 방법을 통합하는 데에 한계가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 본고에서는 내용 기반 음악 검색의 일반화를 위한 내용 기반 음악 요소 검색(CBMER) 방법을 제안하였다. 제안 방법에서는 확률적 은닉 성분 분석(PLCA)을 사용하여 음원을 분해하고, 각 분해 요소로부터 오디오 특성을 추출하였다. 제안 방법을 사용하여 다양한 질의 방식 및 검색 카테고리로 내용 기반 음악 요소 검색이 가능함을 보이기 위해, 남성/여성의 목소리로부터 질의를 생성하여 목소리 성별에 따른 음악을 검색하는 실험을 수행하고 그 결과를 분석하였다.

As most of the data configuration at distributed environment has a tree structure following the hierarchical classification, relative data retrieve is limited. Among these data, the data stored in a database has a problem in integration and efficient retrieve. Accordingly, we suggest the system that uses XMDR for distributed database integration and links XMDR to TopicMap for efficient retrieve of knowledge expressed hierarchically. We proposes a plan for efficient integration retrieve through using the XMDR which is composed of Meta Semantic Ontology, Instance Semantic Ontology and meta location, solves data heterogeneity and metadata heterogeneity problem and integrates them, and replaces the occurrence of the TopicMap with the Meta Location of the XMDR, which expresses the resource location of TopicMap by linking Meta Semantic Ontology and Instance Semantic Ontology of XMDR to the TopicMap.

On a huge space of information called the Internet, users can use a smart mobile web to get information on various intellectual fields and can access to various Medias such as personal blogs and social networking sites (SNS). This is why a vast amount of information on the web has been effectively managed and researched nowadays through a technology named Semantic Web. However, it still needs for an improvement for studies on searching for intellectual information, though it is enhanced to integrate variously spread information and search for intellectual information user-oriented. Thus, this study aims to research on searching information and knowledge spread around a knowledge-filled information space, which can improve credibility according to user-oriented logic.

오늘날은 정보의 홍수라고 표현이 될 만큼 많은 양의 정보를 어디서나 얻을 수 있다. 이러한 많은 양의 정보 중 사람들은 그들이 필요한 정보를 얻기 위하여 인터넷을 사용하며 대부분의 사용자들이 포털 사이트의 검색 서비스를 통하여 그들이 원하는 정보를 검색하고 얻고 있다. 그러나 전통적인 여과 과정을 통해 검증된 인쇄 자원과는 다르게 인터넷상에 있는 자원은 대부분 여과되어 있다고 볼 수 없다. 인터넷상에서 발견되는 정보가 주로 여과되지 않은 상태라는 점을 이해하는 것도 정보를 얻는 사용자 입장에서 매우 중요하다. 그런 의미에서 웹에서는 제공되는 정보에 대한 선정, 조직화, 검색에 대한 표준화가 아직 없기 때문에, 단순히 웹 검색 엔진을 이용한 검색의 결과만을 통해서 원하는 정보를 찾는 것은 쉽 지가 않다(Spink et al, 1999). 비록 원하던 정보를 얻었다 해도 획득한 정보가 신뢰할 만한 것인지를 판단하기가 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 그러한 요구에 부응하기 위해 검색 서비스에 대한 사용자 선호 요인을 선별하고 설문 조사를 통해 검증하고자 한다. 본 연구는 크게 문헌 연구와 실증 연구로 구별되며, 실증 분석에서는 검색 서비스를 사용해 본 경험이 있는 인터넷 사용자를 대상으로 설문을 인터넷 사이트와 설문지를 배부하는 형식으로 진행하여, 통계 패키지를 이용 결과를 분석하였다. 문헌 연구에 따르면 인터넷 사이트를 사용하는데 있어서, 사용자 선호에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 정보 품질, 서비스 연계성, 인지된 유용성, 흥미성, 시스템 품질, UI의 편의성이 있으며 본 연구에서도 이러한 요인을 중심으로 연구 모형을 정하였다. 이러한 요인들에 대하여 가설을 정해 실증 분석을 한 결과, 기본적으로 검색 서비스에 대한 인지된 유용성과 UI의 편의성은 사용자 선호에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 정보 품질, 서비스 연계성, 흥미 성, 시스템 품질은 사용자 선호에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 정보 품질과 시스템 품질의 결과는 유의 수준에서 크게 넘어가지 않는 결과가 나와 반드시 영향을 미치지 못하는 것은 아니라고 조사되었다. 본 연구는 검색 서비스라는 특정 서비스에 대해서 사용자 선호에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해서 알아보고자 하였다. 이는 학문적인 측면에서 기존의 통합적인 웹사이트 평가에 대한 연구의 확장을 가능케 하였고, 개인사용자 측면에서는 좀더 좋은 정보를 제공하는 검색 서비스에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있는 계기가 되었다고 할 수 있다.

본 연구는 기초학문자료센터의 연구데이터를 후속연구자들이 효율적으로 이용하며 연구데이터의 재이용을 향상시키기 위한 시각화 서비스를 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 기초학문자료센터를 이용한 경험이 있는 연구자를 인터뷰하여 현재 기초학문자료센터의 미비점과 개선점을 파악하고, 시각화가 필요한 부분에 대한 의견을 수집하였다. 조사 결과, 기초학문자료센터에서 제공하는 연구성과물이 양적으로 부족하며, 통합검색을 제외한 연구과제 검색, 연구성과물유형별 검색, 연구분야분류별 검색은 불필요하고, 추천검색어가 보완될 필요가 있었다.

This study presents a new retrieval system developed to consider various preferential requirements for buyers in the real estate market. The paper analyses essential factors affecting the price of real estate and then a set of factors are classified by region-related factor and individual-related factor. After endowing the buyer's selected factors with weights in the retrieval system, the optimal solutions have been drawn by comparing with the others through an entropy measure of Multi-attribute Decision Making. This retrieval system is applied to the Busan real estate market to estimate the solutions of retrieval. Evaluation results indicate that the retrieval system can provide useful information to analyse the price determination factors of real estate, as well as to save the searching cost of the buyers.
