The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between perceived stress, ego-resilience, and premenstrual syndrome(PMS) and investigate the factors affecting PMS in female college students. The study participants were 215 female college students in Gyeunggi province. Data were collected from October 10 to November 10, 2017, using self-report questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. PMS was positively correlated with the perceived stress and negatively correlated with ego-resilience. Eating habits, interference with daily life by menstruation, perceived stress accounted for 44.4% of variance in PMS. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop a management program that integrates psychological factors and lifestyle improvement including dietary habits, as well as efforts to manage menstrual symptoms in order to alleviate the premenstrual syndrome of female college students.
Recently with the wide spread smart devices and the flexible forms of work such as working from home due to changes in work practices, people are getting various information easily. So many mothers suffer from child-rearing stress. Also, as the balance of work and life in mobile environment emerged as an important issue, the need for integrated information management applications that give infant care assistance to new mothers was increased. This study analyzed preferences on infant care information apps and developed prototype apps for infant care information management that can provide integrated customized infant care information that is actually needed.
The aim of this study was to investigate the association between perceived periodontal status and sexual function among adult men. Three hundred thirty adult male participated in this study living at Changwon and Jinju. All the participants surveyed the socio-demographic characteristics, perceived periodontal status, stress, and international index of erectile function (IIEF) using self-administrated questionnaire. The univariate and multivariate analyze were adapted to access the crude and adjusted associations using PASW Statistics 18.0. In univariate analysis, there were significant differences between perceived periodontal status and IIEF and most of socio-demographic characteristics (p<0.05), but no significant differences between stress and all of socio-demographic characteristics (p>0.05). The sexual function was negatively correlated with perceived periodontal status (r=-0.228, p<0.001) and stress (r=-0.257, p<0.001), respectively. In multivariate analysis, perceived periodontal status was significantly associated with sexual function (b=-0.889, p=0.030) after adjusting for socio-demographic characteristics and stress. Therefore, it is found that perceived periodontal status negatively influenced on sexual function in adult men.

The purpose of this study is to develop a mobile app for mental health self care of university student. User centered design is a research design that applies the subject's needs assessment, analysis, design, development, evaluation, modification and supplement to suit the subjects. In order to manage the mental health of university students, they consisted of four main areas of mental health problems: drinking, sleeping, depression, and stress. It is designed to enable self test content, analysis and notification of inspection results, and management plan for current status of each area. Based on this, I developed an Android based mental health self-care Application. The subject can enter his or her mental health status data to explain the normal or risk level for each result, and the subject can then select the appropriate intervention method that he or she can perform. In addition, we developed a mental health self care calendar that can display the present status of each of the four areas on a day by day basis, and the current status can be expressed in an integrated manner through animations and status bars. The purpose of this study was to develop a mental health self-care app that can be improved by continuous and improved programs.
The purpose of this study is to investigate how the emotional labor and emotional intelligence of nurses working at a general hospital affect their job stress, and how the integration factor of emotional labor and emotional intelligence affects their job stress. The subjects of research were the nurses working at general hospital in Seoul city from March 11-29, 2013. The collected data was analyzed after computerized statistical processing using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. It was found that the frequency of emotional expressions, one of emotional labor variables, significantly negatively influenced job stress(${\beta}=-.301$, p<.01), and that the attention required for the norms of emotional expressions significantly positively affected job stress(${\beta}=.277$, p<.01). Among emotional intelligence variables, understanding of self-emotion and control of emotion were found to significantly negatively affected job stress. Given the study result, in order to alleviate nurses' job stress, it is necessary to have positive emotional expressions with patients, come up with a plan to show nurses' emotions which they fail to express because of the norms of emotional expressions in hospital, and make their effort to improve understanding of their own emotions and the capability of controlling emotions.

For a statistical analysis, SPSS version 17.0 was used. During the analysis, the students one of which parents was not born in Korea were considered as those from multi-cultural families and statistical significance was set to be p<0.05, To look into relations between suicide ideation and reasons of stress with the former as a subordinate variable, the study figured out Odds Ratio(OR) through a simple logistics analysis and a complex sample was set for the analysis. Boy students had 2.70 times more suicide ideation due to stress from associates than girl students while girl students had 2.50 times more suicide ideation due to conflicts with parents than boy students. In conclusion, as there were various reasons of stress relating to individuals, families and school life which may affect suicide ideation of adolescents from multi-cultural families, our society should pay attention especially to improvement of relationships with parents and friends to prevent and control their suicide ideation.

In this paper, we propose a study is to prepare basic data for integrated health promotion education by preventing dry mouth and dry eyes through lifestyle management. From October 7 to 17, 2022, a total of 516 respondents who voluntarily agreed and responded through a self-written structured questionnaire were statistically analyzed for university students in their 20s across the country. As for the factor of feeling dry mouth among the living habits of the study subjects, the more smoking per day, the higher(8.41±2.041) and very high(7.75±2.927) felt dry mouth(p=.015), and the time spent using smart phones. The shorter this was, the lower(1.16±0.784) and very low(1.83±1.672) felt dry mouth(p=.022). The main factors contributing to dry mouth and dry eyes were dry eyes (odds ratio 3.651, p=.000), and high smoking(odds ratio 0.916, p=.038), and the more you use your smart phone (odds ratio 0.256, p=.004), the more you feel dry mouth. When feeling dry eyes, they felt dry mouth more(odds ratio 4.002, p=.000), and the more they exercised, the more dry eyes they felt(odds ratio 1.600, p=.009). As a result, since dry mouth and dry eyes appear as common inconveniences, it was found that lifestyle management is necessary to maintain and promote a healthy life. Therefore, it is proposed to build an integrated health platform that can improve the quality of life and implement personalized health management programs.

This study investigates the factors influencing quality of life for cancer patients based on demographic characteristics, physical-mental health, and oral health. These factors are analyzed using the results from 235 cancer patients in Korea's 7th national health and nutrition survey. Data were analyzed using PASW Statistics Ver. 18.0. Studies show that cancer patients experienced stress (74.5%), depression (84.3%), and activity limitations (15.3%). In oral health, problems chewing were often experienced in groups with low incomes (3.35±.21), activity limitations (2.71±.31), and depression (3.01±.27). The factors influencing quality of life were higher by 3.43 times in the low-income group and by 8.39 times in the activity-restricted group, by 2.74 times in the high-stress group, by 4.58 times in the depression group, by 2.68 times in the chewing-problems group, and were 4.92 times higher in the speech problems group (p<0.05). To improve quality of life, not only mental and physical health care, but also oral care is necessary. An integrated management plan for medical staff in the treatment process of cancer patients is required to prevent mental, physical, and oral discomfort.
