The study is to propose the reference model of Korean record management for integrated information resources management, based on the Korean regulative and administrative environments. Therefore, the study suggests the reasons why the electronic records must be come to the one of the national knowledge and information resources and reviews several integrated information management systems such as GKMS, KADO, ERA, EUN, and COVAX. Next, the study proposes the integrated records management system architecture, integrated national knowledge and information management environment architecture, and information technology architecture for Integrating resource management environment.

Conventional disaster resources management systems among the several institutes are not mutually connected. In case of NDMS(National Disaster Management System), the data of the system is confined to the resources of the local governments and not connected with any other disaster resource management systems. Therefore, it is difficult to find the needed resources, when the large scale disaster is occurred. In this paper, we developed the integrated model of the distributed resources management framework considering the current resource management environment among the institutes. It is loosely coupling model under the centralized system, called IDRM(Integrated Disaster Resource Manager). The system will be verified with the test sites including Korea Expressway Corporation, JeonBuk local government, and Korea Construction Equipment Association. Via the field testing, the system will be the base of the real available system in the future.

In the forthcoming next generation highspeed networks, the provisioning of broadband mobile multimedia services is the most important issue while an efficient network management architecture, which can manage the network resources efficiently, is essential. The next generation highspeed networks will be composed of the ATMand SDH-based transport network systems and the H-based interworking systems. The management functions of these network systems are implemented various technologies, such as TMN and SNMP. In order to integrate these network resources efficiently with heterogeneous management functions, the distributed network management architecture such as TINA is most appropriate. In this pape, we propose an interworking architecture for TINA manager and TMN agent. where the TINA-based EML subnetwork management operations mapped into the related management operations of the TMN NE agent. The proposed interworking architecture is simpler than JIDM, and the processing overhead is minimized.

현재 각 국가별로 추진 중인 초고속 정보통신망은 지금까지 전화, 데이터, CATV 등 서비스별 특성에 따라 구축되어온 개별 망들을 대용량 전송, 광대역 교환, 고도지능형 관리 기술을 바탕으로 통합하고, 이들 개별 망에서 제공하고 있는 서비스들은 물론 미래에 예상되는 멀티미디어 서비스들도 효과적으로 수용하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 가능하기 위하여 모든 초고속 정보통신망은 ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode)기술을 기반으로 하고 있다. 이에 따라 최근에는 ATM기반 초고속 정보통신망 자원을 효율적으로 운용, 관리하는 방안이 통신망 사업자의 주요 관심사로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ATM통신망에서의 자원 관리의 범주를 단순한 대역폭 할당 뿐 아니라 효율적인 자원관리를 위해 기본적인 트래픽 제어 등으로 폭넓게 고려하여 ATM 망자원 분배를 위한 다양한 접근 방법들을 분석하였다.

To support Integrated Services in the Internet, the Internet Engineering Task Force(IETF) has developed new mechanisms. These new mechanisms include Resource Reservation Protocol(RSVP) and Integrated Services model. RSVP and Integrated Services are independent of the underlying link layer technologies and it is necessary to define the mapping of RSVP and Integrated Services specifications onto specific link layer technologies. IETF proposed a Subnet Bandwidth Manager(SBM) providing a method for mapping RSVP onto IEEE802 style networks. However, the SBM has several constraints and problems. For solving these constraints and problems, we design and implement a new Ethernet Bandwidth Manager(EBM). This paper discusses (1) new bandwidth management mechanism independent of RSVP, (2) simulation of Ethernet bandwidth to analyze the characteristics of Ethernet and accomplish Ethernet bandwidth management, (3) design and implemetation of EBM that allows Controlled-Load Service, and (4) results of our experiments on EBM.

ISO (International Standard Organization)에서는 산업전반에 걸친 다양한 제품의 설계, 해석, 생산, 그리고 관리에 필요한 모든 제품정보를 정의하는 STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product model data) 표준을 1983년부터 추진하고 있으나, 이를 지원하는 상용 프로그램들은 아직 초기 단계에 있어 이들을 활용하여 시스템 통합을 구현 할 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 현재 STEP에서 부분적으로 정의되어 있는 현상, 형상 특징, 공차, 프로세스, 그리고 제품 관리 정보 등을 통합하여, CAD, CAPP, 그리고 MRP 시스템 간에 정보를 교환하는 프로토타입을 개발하였다. EXPRESS로 표현된 통합 정보 모델은 STEP의 공통자원에 새로운 엔티티와 속성을 추가하여 구성하였고, IGES 파일 변환기, STEP 파일 에디터, 그리고 데이타베이스 인터페이스를 통하여 통합 정보를 저장하고 교환한다.
