기존의 통합 시스템은 이미 구축된 자윈을 재활용하여 데이타의 구축비용을 줄이고자 하는 의도에서 연구되었다. 특히 GIS에서는 공간 데이타의 규모가 방대하므로 그 구축비용이 더욱 증가한다. 이로 인해 공간 데이타를 위한 통합 시스템의 필요성이 대두되다. 최근 웹의 사용자 수와 그 응용의 수가 증가함에 따라 웹에서의 공간 데이타를 이용한 응용의 필요성이 승가하고 있다. 이에 따라 웹 환경에서 분산된 공간 데이타의 통합 시스템이 요구된다. 기존의 미디에이터(Mediator)를 사용한 통합에 비하여 웹을 기반한 공간 데이타의 통합은 웹의 환경적 특성과 공간 데이타의 크기와 형태 등을 고려해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 OGC(OpenGIS Consortium)의 웹 매핑 기술인 WMT(Web Mapping Testbed)의 중첩 맵 서버 (Cascading Map Server)를 사용하여 공간 데이타를 통합한다. 통합 과정에서 요구되는 표준화된 데이타 모델과 인터페이스는 OGC가 최근 제안한 GML(Geography Markup Language)과 웹 맵 서버 인터페이스를 이용한다. 본 논문은 XML의 XLink와 XPointer의 개념을 가진 융합 서비스(Fusion Service)기법을 중첩 맵 서버에 도입한 융합 맵 서버(Fusion Map Server)를 제안한다. 이러한 통합 방식은 데이터 사이의 관계성을 고려한 링킹 기반 통합이므로 통합 응용의 복잡성을 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 물리적 변환 등에서 생성되는 연산 비용을 줄일 수 있는 장점이 있다.

In this paper, we build server consolidate virtualization focusing on NT server dilapidated and through analysis of the effect of this, has been presented the following results. First, it was possible to obtain an increase in the constant temperature constant humidity chamber efficiency by securing the upper surface space for computing data center mounted virtualization integration server servers multiple physical. Second, by the deployment of virtualization of a large server dilapidated, the introduction of new resources and the cost of maintaining computerized data center and reduce power consumption, the reduction of hardware introduction of additional due to the new server deployment it was possible to derive a cost reduction effect. We obtain the reduction of 89% and 79% compared with conventional consumption of cooling and power savings of the top surface, respectively. Integration of NT servers are virtualized can be expected to change in the Green-IT to contribute to providing the maintenance costs of computing centers in the future as well as current. Building a virtualization server integration applied in this paper can be similarly applied to the UNIX system and to integrate the server group other.

Organizations have many physical servers in their departments such as application servers, web servers, database servers, mail servers, and so forth. The problem of server sprawl is common in information system centers of most profit and nonprofit organizations. Server sprawls are characterized by the use of dedicated servers for single applications. This server sprawl causes the problems such as the low resource utilization, the large space consumption, and the high management cost. Server consolidation is crucial to solve these problems by providing savings in hardware, software, maintenance, facility, and labor costs. This paper proposed a method to implement server consolidation for public organizations by the NDMS(National Disaster Management Systems) case study.

본 논문에서는 기존 서버 원격관리 시스템이 안고있던 보안상의 문제점을 최근에 보안 인프라로써 각광을 받고 있는 PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)를 사용한 원격 통합 서버관리 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 통합 인증서버는 관리자의 인증을 SCVP를 사용해서 검증하며, SSL(Secure Socket Layer)을 통해서 데이터의 기밀성을 보장한다. 또한 제안된 시스템은 관리자가 다양한 종류의 플랫폼과 운영체제를 한번의 인증과정으로 원격에서 통합 관리가 가능한 SSO(Single-Sign On) 시스템이다.

사용자들은 기하급수적으로 증가하는 정보 중 원하는 정보를 보다 빠르고 정확하게 제공받기를 원한다. 웹 환경에서 분산되어 있는 검색서버의 특성을 고려한 통합검색 서비스를 통해 사용자는 다수의 분산 서버에서 원하는 정보를 손쉽게 찾을 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 웹 상에 물리적으로 분산된 서버, 즉 이질적인 환경을 가지는 다수의 분산서버를 대상으로 논리적으로 묶어서 하나의 통합검색환경을 제공하기 위한 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. XML 기반으로 정의된 프로토콜을 사용해서 각각의 분산된 서버는 쉽게 통합검색에 참여할 수 있으며, 통합서버는 분산서버의 메타 데이터 정보를 이용해서 사용자의 질의 및 결과를 효율적으로 처리하도록 한다.

본 논문에서는 네트워크와 서버/클라이언트 기술의 도입으로 새로운 모습으로 발전하고 있는 디지털도서관의 분산환경을 통합하기 위한 방안으로 CORBA를 이용하는 모델을 제시한다. 본 모델은 인터넷의 웹 서버와 코바 정보저장소인 서버로 구성된 분산서버를 단일한 클라이언트에서 사용할 수 있도록 자바 애플릿을 클라이언트 환경으로 한다.

Cloud computing helps users to save a significant amount of cost that is related to infrastructure investment, management, and maintenance. In this paper, we study the conversion planning from campus legacy web servers into an integrated cloud computing web server system. We also analyze the conversion profit when campus web servers are integrated into a cloud computer. We first investigate the cost of legacy system model of campus web servers operated by individual laboratories, departments, institutes and so on. Next, we set up a cloud computer model for the integrated web services meeting the same performance requirements. Then, we derive the conversion profit. From the result of the derivation, we see that the conversion can be effectively applied to and adopted by mid or large sized campuses and similar institutions that provide web services.

가상화를 적용한 서버 통합의 기대효과 예측은 기업 내 여러 가지 환경 변수에 의해 예측하기가 쉽지 않다. 본 연구 논문에서는 가상화를 적용한 서버 통합 사례를 소개하고 엔터프라이즈 기업환경에서 가상화 프로젝트를 진행하였던 그 과정을 사례 연구를 통해 정리한다. 여기서 제시되는 결과를 통해 서버 가상화에 대한 여러 문제를 고찰하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

본 연구에서는 서비스를 제공하는 각 서버들을 위협에서 보호하고 통합적으로 관리하기 위해 내장 IDS기반의 통합 보안관리 시스템을 개발하였다. IDS 서버를 외부망과 단절시킴으로써 IDS 서버에 대한 위협 자체를 원천적으로 차단하였고, 관리 대상 서버들에 에이전트를 탑재하여 탑재된 에이전트가 서버의 시스템 자원 및 네트워크 트래픽, 위협이 되는 패킷들의 자세한 정보를 수집, 분석하여 관리서버로 전송한다. 관리 프로그램은 비동기식의 X-Internet기술을 도입한 Adobe Flex를 사용한 웹 어플리케이션으로 개발하여 어떤 플랫폼에서도 접속하여 관리자의 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 하였다. 이와 같은 관리 프로그램을 통하여 대상 서버들의 시스템 자원 및 네트워크 트래픽들을 효율적으로 파악할 수 있고 IDS에서 탐지한 위협을 탐지 및 차단이 가능하도록 구현하였다.

정보통신의 발전 및 디지털화에 따라 사람들의 이동성이 증가하고 무선통신망과 위치측위 기술을 바탕으로 차량내외의 이동형 정보서비스를 지원하는 텔레매틱스가 이동통신, 자동차, 시스템, 단말기 컨텐츠 분야를 중심으로 대두되고 있다. 이처럼 텔레매틱스는 다양한 분야의 기술을 통합하고 연계하여 서비스를 제공하는 분야이며, 유무선통신기술, 위치측위기술, 시스템통합기술 등의 기반기술을 토대로 재창출되는 서비스의 집합이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 기반기술 및 서비스를 바탕으로 효율적으로 텔레매틱스 서비스를 구현하기 위한 텔레배틱스 서비스 서버 구축 방안을 기술한다. 기존의 위치기반서비스 및 지능형 교통시스템 등의 관련 분야의 서비스를 통합 서비스 형태로 제공할 수 있는 통합 서비스 서버 모델을 제안한다. 이 모델은 계층화된 구조를 가지고 있어 관련 분야 기반 기술 및 서비스 기술의 적용을 효율적으로 할 수 있어 향후 시스템 확장성을 용이하게 한다. 또한 본 논문에서는 텔레매틱스 서비스 서버를 활용하여 구축된 위치기반라우팅 서비스의 구현사례를 보여준다. 이는 텔레매틱스 서비스 서버를 활용하여 관련 분야의 기반 기술과 서비스의 기술을 효율적으로 활용할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있다.
