본 발표에서는 1998년 서울대학교 통계학과에서 개발한 KESS(Korean Educational Statistical System; http://stats.snu.ac.kr/time)의 추가로 개발된 내용을 소개하기로 한다 (조신섭 외, 1999). 추가로 개발된 모듈(module)들은 통계교육에서 필요로 하는 분석법들 중에서 회귀분석, 시계열분석과 연관된 내용들이다. 기존의 여러 가지 통계패키지와 비교해 보아 효율적인 통계교육을 위한 필수적인 옵션 및 분석 결과를 제공하도록 하였다.

본 연구에서는 2003년부터 시행된 일본 고등학교 학습지도요령의 수학과 구성과 성격을 연구하였다. 또한, 교육과정상의 확률통계교육의 구성과 성격 및 편제에 대하여 고찰한 결과, 새 교육과정에 따른 교과위주의 교육과정의 구성과 내용 및 편제의 특징은 통합학습시간 신설로 미국식 주제 교육의 도입, 완전학교 주 5 일제실시, 중고 일관교육, 단위제 고등학교학교 신설, 종합 학교의 설치로 설명된다. 확률통계 교육의 내용과 범위는 과거 교육과정과 크게 달라진 점은 없으나, 7교과 분야 가운데 3 교과 부분에 자료 위주의 실용통계계산 교육과 통계소프트웨어교육 강화가 그 특징이다.

본 논문에서 구축한 시스템은 서버에 설치된 통계패키지인 Xlisp-Stat을 이용하여 인터넷 상에서 통계분석과 통계 학습을 겸한 통계학습시스템이다. 이 시스템은 CGI 프로그램에 의하여 Xlisp-Stat과 웹 서버와의 인터페이스 모듈이 구현되었으며, 특히 통계분석 결과가 그래프인 경우에 브라우저에 출력이 가능한 GIF 이미지로 변환하여 실시간으로 학습자에게 전송하도록 설계하였다. 또한 학습 페이지는 기술통계를 중심으로 학습 내용을 구성하였으며, 학습 효과를 높이기 위하여 인지적지연 시간을 최소화하도록 설계하였다.

2008년 도서관분야 국가승인통계 생성과 더불어 국가도서관통계시스템이 구축되었다. 본 연구는 국가도서관통계시스템 구축 이후 10년을 맞이하여 도서관통계데이터를 제공하는 국가도서관통계시스템이 도서관 정책 및 연구의 기초자료로 활용된 사례를 분석하였다. 데이터 수집은 한국한술지인용색인(KCI) 및 온-나라정책연구(PRISM)를 활용하여 2008년~2018년도에 발행된 학회지와 정책연구를 대상으로 하였다. 해당 데이터는 국가도서관통계시스템을 참고한 논문 95건, 정책연구보고서 39건이다.

인터넷 시장규모 확대 및 이용환경의 급속한 변화로 인하여 인터넷 이용자에 관한 통계와 인터넷 환경에 관한 통계정보 요구는 증대되고 있다. 그러나 인터넷 환경에 관한 통계 정보 중에서 국내 호스트개수, 홈페이지 개수, 국제도메인의 국내 보유 개수 산출 등은 인터넷에 연결하는 이용기관의 보안 강화의 문제점과 전문 지능형 로봇에이전트 시스템의 부재 및 국제도메인 등록기관의 통계 비공개 등으로 국내에서 주기적으로 산출하는데 문제점이 부각되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 관련 주요 통계정보의 정확한 산출·제시로 민간의 인터넷 산업에 대한 효과적인 투자 유도를 가능케 하기 위해서 인터넷 주요 통계 산출이 가능한 로봇에이전트 설계 기법을 제안하고 구현한다. 모듈은 로봇에이전트 프로세스 모듈, 통계산출 모듈, 관리 모듈 등으로 구성되었으며, 국내의 호스트 개수, 홈페이지 개수, .com 등 국제도메인의 국내 보유 개수 등을 정기적으로 산출되기 위한 알고리즘과 그 구현결과를 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 규칙 정보와 통계 정보의 상호 보완적 특성을 이용한 혼합형 방법을 기반으로 규칙 정보와 통계 정보의 추출 및 적용 시에 어절간 문맥 정보를 보다 효율적으로 이용하는 혼합형 품사 태깅 시스템을 제안한다. 먼저 규칙이 적용되는 중의성들에 대해서 높은 정확률로 태깅을 수행한 후, 규칙으로 해결할 수 없는 중의성들에 대해서는 통계 정보를 이용하여 태깅을 수행한다. 규칙 정보는 중의성을 갖는 어절과 주변 어절들의 형태소 및 태그를 이용하여 정의하고 통계 정보는 문맥에 영향을 많이 미치고 많은 중의성의 원인이 되는 조사와 어미의 형태를 그대로 활용하여 추출함으로써 어절간 문맥을 보다 효율적으로 이용한다.

현재 전자상거래에서 사용되는 협업 필터링은 고객이 입력한 평점 정보를 이용하여 추천 시스템을 구축한다. 하지만 기존의 평점 정보는 고객이 직접 입력해야 하므로 데이터 희소생의 문제가 있고 허위정보를 가려내지 못한다는 문제점 또한 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 기존 평점 정보 기반의 협업 필터링 추천 시스템의 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 온라인 고객 행동 정보를 활용한 협업 필터링 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 실험 결과 본 연구에서 제안한 Collaborative Filtering based on Online Behavior Information (BICF) 알고리즘이 기존의 평점 기반 협업 필터링 방식보다 우수한 성능을 보임을 보여주었다.

The purpose of this paper is to propose a data transformation method for visualizing the statistical information based on the grid system which has regular shape and size. Grid is better solution than administrator boundary or census block to check the distribution of the statistical information and be able to use as a spatial unit on the map flexibly. On the other hand, we need the additional process to convert the various statistical information to grid if we use the current method which is areal interpolation. Therefore, this paper proposes the 3 steps to convert the various statistical information to grid. 1)Geocoding the statistical information, 2)Converting the spatial information through the defining the spatial relationship, 3)Attribute transformation considering the data scale measurement. This method applies to the population density of Seoul to convert to the grid. Especially, spatial autocorrelation is performed to check the consistency of grid display if the reference data is different for same statistic information. As a result, both distribution of grid are similar to each other when the population density data which is represented by census block and building is converted to grid. Through the result of implementation, it is demonstrated to be able to perform the consistent data conversion based on the proposed method.

In this paper, we developed the web content of statistical analysis using statistical package and Active Server Page (ASP). A statistical package is very difficult to learn and use for non-statisticians, however, non-statisticians want to do analyze the data without learning statistical packages such as SAS, S-plus, and R. Therefore, we developed the web based statistical analysis contents using S-plus which is the popular statistical package and ASP. In real application, we developed the web content for various statistical analyses such as exploratory data analysis, analysis of variance, and time series on the web using water quality data. The developed statistical analysis web content is very useful for non-statisticians such as public service person and researcher. Consequently, combining a web based contents with a statistical package, the users can access the site quickly and analyze data easily.
