Who is Happy at Work?: The Relationship between Demographic·Psychographic Factors and Happiness Level (누가 행복한 직장인인가?: 인구통계적·심리분석적 요인과 행복수준 간의 관계)

  • The primary objectives of this study were to identify who is happier in workplace. To do this, this study proposed and analyzed a theoretical model consisting of demographic factors such as sex differences, age band, marital status, child quantity, religion, education level, position, job, income etc, psychological factors such as extroversion, neurosis, positive belief and happiness level. The major results of analysis reveal that first, both demographic factors and psychological factors have a positive effect on the happiness level of office-worker. Second, child quantity, neurosis and positive belief is an important factors in predicting office-worker's happiness. In conclusion, the implication of our research is to verify factors to promote the happiness level of office workers.

Residents' Perception Differences on Tourism Impacts (지역주민의 특성에 따른 관광영향지각 차이분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the perceptions of local residents towards the tourism impacts. The region of this study, Anmyeon-do has been developed as an international tourist destination since 1993. This study was trying to estimate the perception differences between groups of resident in teams of socio-demographics, geographic characteristics and psycho-behavioral characteristics. Self-administered questionnaire survey was administered for the residents. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, t-test, and ANOVA was tested for the perception differences. Using segmentation approaches, it was revealed that geographic characteristics and psycho-behavioral characteristics were relatively useful to test the perceptions differences of residents towards tourism impacts. Implications are drawn for regional tourism policy and management.

  • The purpose of this research was to derive political suggestion to increase the demand for forest visit by analyzing the demand of forest visitors, focusing on the residents of Seoul and capital areas. The determinants of demand, which is the number of forest visit in a year, were analyzed by independent variables; six factors from factor analysis on selective attributes, demographic characteristics, and other variables related with the general matters when visiting a forest. As a result, among the independent variables, selective attribute (tourism resource factor), gender (male), and residency (Seoul) were found out to have positive(+) effect on demand for forest visit. However, other selective attribute (external factor of forestry), occupation (white-collar employee), and level of education (over college graduate) were found out to have negative(-) effect on demand for forest visit. Based on these results, implications for the expansion of demand for forest visits were derived.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the statistical errors, which may occur in the process of applying statistics, by major stage of research, for greatly contributing to promoting research power through rightly utilizing statistics at the point of time that the application of statistics is increased in the research of clothing and textiles. As a result, it confirmed that there are many errors by each stage. First, it is a point that there was not any research that mentioned on the impact of analysis in the researches, which test the appearance of significance based on the collected data through experiment or survey. Second, the existence of mechanical description which is monotonous as well as not applying right analytical method in factor analysis. Also, even in case of cross tabulation, there was no hypothesis establishment.

  • 스포츠 통계와 관련된 주제들은 경기결과의 설명 예측력 분석, 선수와 팀 평가, 경기내용의 요약, 경기의 환경적 요인 평가, 경기 규칙 분석, 경기결과의 시각적 표현, 토너먼트 구조 연구 등의 영역으로 다양하다. 이 글에서는 야구 축구 농구 테니스 종목을 중심으로 통계적 방법을 적용하여 스포츠 현장의 문제를 어떻게 접근하고 있는지를 개괄하였다. 전통적으로 스포츠 통계는 선수와 팀 그리고 전략의 평가가 주를 이루었지만, 오늘날 스포츠통계는 경기의 잠재적, 외적 요인 등의 주제로 관심영역을 넓혀가고 있다. 그러나 국내에서는 경기내용의 기술적(descriptive) 분석이 주류를 이루고 있으며, 전문적 수준의 통계적 접근은 활발하지 못하고 있다. 현장과 자료의 특성을 고려하여 통계와 스포츠(체육)분야의 다양한 협동연구가 필요하다.

  • This research is designed to comprehend the 'participation' motivation of fishing village, and analyze the effect of such participation' motivation of the overall satisfaction on fishing village, in aspect of 'demand'. And, this thesis is intended to present the detailed factors of such participation motivation, and raise and address the pertained problems, in an effort to strengthen the effective marketing activities in fishing village and rejuvenate the fishing village tourism. The signifiant difference has made, with regard to demographical traits, and available traits and participation motivation of fishing village tourism. Concerning significant relations and effects of participation motivation and satisfaction, the five factors, such as "somatic and self-realization", "recreation", and "educational or cultural" reveals to have had effects on the satisfaction of fishing village tourism, in turn. But, "status or fame" have had less direct effects on the satisfaction.

  • 급수 수요량의 단기예측은 상수도 시스템의 유지관리 계획 수립의 중요한 구성 요소이며, 대상지역의 특성을 민감하게 반영하고 있으므로, 급수수요의 지역 특성과 관련된 수요 구조의 파악이 무엇보다 중요한 과제라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 상수도 시스템의 합리적 배수 제어 획을 실시하기 위한 기초적 정보인 급수량 변동 구조에 대해 통계적인 분석을 실시하였다. 특히 일단위의 급수량에 초점을 두어 급수량의 시계열 특성과 급수량 영향 요인 분석을 통하여 대상 지역의 정상 시계열장과 급수량에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 또한 급수량의 계절별 단기 수요 예측 모델을 제안하기 위하여 통계적 예측 수법으로 평가 받고 있는 MARIMA (Multiple Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Average) 모델을 급수량 단기 수요 예측에 적용하여 계절별 급수 수요량을 예측하였다.

  • 이 연구는 인터넷 소비자들의 행동에 관한 연구의 일부로, 인터넷 구매자들의 구매 빈도와 그들의 인터넷에 대한 태도, 구매 동기, 인터넷 사용, 인구통계적 특성과의 관계를 살펴보았다. Georgia Institute of Technology의 Graphic Visualization and Usability Center에서 실시된 설문조사를 통해 수집된 자료를 요인분석과 회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과. 인터넷 쇼핑에 대한 소비자들의 태도(상대적 잇점. 안전성), 인터넷 판매자에 대한 소비자들의 태도(고객 서비스). 인터넷 브라우징 빈도, 소득, 교육이 인터넷 구매자들의 구매 빈도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
