Study on the EDA based Statistics Attributes Discovery and Utilization for the Maritime Safety Statistics Items Diversification (해상안전 통계 항목 다양화를 위한 EDA 기반 통계 속성 도출 및 활용에 관한 연구)

  • Evidence-based policymaking and assessments for scientific administration have increased the importance of statistics (data) utilization. Statistics can explain specific phenomena by providing numerical values and are a public resource for national decision making. Due to these inherent attributes, statistics are utilized as baseline and base data for government policy determinations and the analysis of various phenomena. However, compared to the importance, the role of statistics is limited, and statistics are often used as simple abstracts, produced mainly for suppliers, not for consumers' perspectives to create value. This study explores the statistical data and other attributes that can be utilized for policies or research to address the problems mentioned above. The baseline statistical data used in this study is from the Maritime Distress Accident Statistical Yearbook published by the South Korean Coast Guard, and other additional attributes are from text analyses of vessel casualty situation reports from the South Korean Maritime Police. Collecting 56 attributes drawn from the text analysis and executing an EDA resulted in 88 attribute unions: 18 attribute unions had a satisfactory significance probability (p-value < .05) and a strong correlation coefficient above 0.7, and 70 attribute unions had a middle correlation. (over 0.4 and under 0.7). Additionally, to utilize the extra attributes discovered from the EDA politically, a keyword analysis for each detailed strategy of the disaster Preparation basic plan was executed, the utilization availability of the attributes was obtained using a matching process of keywords, and the EDA deducted attributes were examined.

The Final Alternative Choice According to the Change of Product Attribute Information (제품 속성정보 강화에 따른 소비자 대안선택 변화에 관한 연구)

  • This study is composed of analyses about whether intensifying the attribute level of alternatives presented to consumers makes the effect of intensifying attributes and there is any significant difference among effects of the intensified attributes. For this, the most favorite alternative is extracted from each group of computers and jeans through conjoint analysis, which is used as a standard alternative during the process of experimentation. In conclusion, this research suggests that in terms of business, by intensifying the latter attribute of products rather than the early attribute, an enterprise acquire distinct and competitive superiority over similar competing products (esp. functional products), and theoretically, by expanding and analyzing decision models it can predict consumers' behaviors more correctly.

  • 데이터마이닝을 위한 대용량 데이터베이스를 축소시키는 방법 중에 속성선택 방법이 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 세 가지 속성선택 방법을 사용하여 조건속성 수를 60%이상 축소시켜 결정나무와 로지스틱 회귀모형에 적용시켜보고 이들의 효율을 비교해 본다. 세 가지 속성선택 방법은 MDI, 정보획득, ReliefF 방법이다. 결정나무 방법은 QUEST, CART, C4.5를 사용하였다. 속성선택 방법들의 분류 정확성은 UCI 데이터베이스에 주어진 Credit 승인 데이터베이스와 German Credit 데이터베이스를 사용하여 10층-교차확인 방법으로 평가하였다.

  • As increased demand for well-being food caused more interest in hangwa, or Korean traditional sweets and cookies, this study attempted to analyze the effects of psychological well-being awareness on selection attributes for it and customer satisfaction based on the customers who buy hangwa. As a result of statistical analysis, psychological well-being awareness positively affects selection attributes for hangwa. It also bas a positive effect on customer satisfaction.

  • Mangat(1994)는 Mangat-Singh(1990)이 제안한 2단계 관련질문모형의 사용 절차를 좀 더 단순화시킨 개선된 관련질문모형을 제안하여 민감한 질적 속성을 추정하였다. 본 논문에서는 Mangat의 개선된 관련질문모형을 양적속성의 무관질문모형으로 확장하고자 한다. 또한, 제안한 모형이 Greenberg et al.의 양적속성의 무관질문모형이나 최경호(1996)가 제안한 2단계 양적속성의 무관질문모형보다 효율적이 되는 조건을 제시하였다.

  • 사회적 연결망 분석은 사회학에서 양적 분석방법과 질적 분석방법이 함께 안고 있는 문제, 즉 사회적 실체를 관계에 우선하여 측정하고 분석함으로써, 사회적 관계가 부차적이고 파생적으로 인식되는 문제를 해결하는 방안으로 제안되었다. 연결망 분석은 개인 혹은 집단과 조직간의 관계에 대한 형식적 접근을 통해 그 전반적 혹은 부분적 특성을 분석하는 방법으로, 사회적 구조의 발현적 속성에 초점을 맞춘다. 조직간의 연결망에 대한 분석을 통해 조직의 성과가 조직 자체의 속성 뿐 아니라 조직간의 관계의 속성에 의존함이 밝혀졌다.

  • 양적속성의 추정을 위한 확률화응답기법은 Greenberg et al.(1971)로부터 시작된다. 이후 새로운 방법에 대한 제시(Dalenius와 Vitale(1974)) 및 분포함수에 대한 추정(Duffy와 Waterton(1984))등이 연구되어 오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 2단계 확률화응답기법을 이용하여 양적속성을 추정하는 방법을 제시하고 이의 효율성 비교를 행해 보고자 한다.

Unrelated question model with quantitative attribute by stratified double sampling (층화이중추출법에 의한 양적속성의 무관질문모형)

  • In the surveys of sensitive issues of the population that is composed of several unknown-size stratum, we propose the unrelated question model with quantitative attribute by using stratified double sampling. And, we consider two types of sample allocations under the fixed cost, which are the proportional allocation, the optimum allocation. In efficiency, the proosed model is inferior to the unrelated question model with quantitative attribute by stratified sampling in case of the size of each stratum is known. But we find that efficiency of the proposed model is increased, when the selecting probability of sensitive question p is small and first stage sample size n' is large.

  • 본 논문은 백과사전 도메인의 지식베이스 설계 및 통계기반 정보추출 방법을 이용한 속성정보 인식에 대하여 기술한다. 층 13개 카테고리로 구성된 백과사전에 대해 99개의 템플릿과 285개의 속성을 정의하였으며, 각 표제어의 추출 대상인 속성정보는 표제어를 설명하는 본문에서 통계기반 기계학습모델인 CRF(Conditional Random Fields)를 적용하여 추출하였다. 백과사전 카테고리 별로 균일하게 선정된 4천 5백 문서를 학습에 사용하였고 테스트 문서셋 500문서에 대해 속성인식률을 측정하였다. 성능 평가한 결과, $F1\;55.76\%\;(P\;74.89\%,\;R\;44.42\%)$의 성능을 나타내었다.

The Effects of Advertisement Properties In Cosmetics Convergence Advertisement Using PPL On Brand Attitude and Purchasing Intention (PPL을 활용한 화장품 융합광고의 광고속성이 브랜드태도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to identify the effects of advertisement properties in PPL-used cosmetic convergence advertisements on brand attitude and purchasing intention and provide basic data that can be used for PPL marketing in cosmetics industry. For the purpose, this study interviewed female college students using a questionnaire and analysed 494 copies of the responses except 6 ones whose responses were insincere using SPSS v. 21.0. As a result, it was discovered that informativeness and entertainment as sub-factors of advertisement properties had statistically significant positive (+)effects on brand attitude while discomfort had statistically significant negative(-) effect on it. Also, informativeness and entertainment had statistically significant positive (+)effects on purchasing intention. Therefore, as PPL that breaks the contents and flow of dramas or movies decreases advertisement effects and purchasing intention, PPL advertisements should naturally present information on cosmetic products in dramas or movies.
