This paper deals with the implementation of the IEEE 802.4 token passing bus protocol which is the world standard for LAN protocol. We are design station adaptor using MC68824 for data link layer, MC68194 for physical layer, and implemented by IEEE 802.4 and 802.2 type 3. We made three station adaptor and its performance is experimented.

생체인식 기술은 전통적인 비밀번호 방식 또는 토큰 방식보다 신뢰성 면에서 더 선호되지만, 환경의 영향에 매우 민감하여 성능의 한계가 있다. 이러한 단일 생체인식 기술의 한계를 극복하기 위하여 여러 종류의 생체 정보를 결합한 다중 생체인식 (multimodal biometrics)에 관한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다 본 논문에서는 다중 생체인식 기술을 간략히 소개하고, Support Vector Machines(SVM)을 이용하여 얼굴 및 음성 정보를 함께 이용한 다중 생체인식 실험으로 성능이 개선될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

전자산업의 필수적인 핵심 부품은 트랜지스터이다. 현재 일본과 우리나라를 포함하여 상용화 되어 있는 모든 트랜지스터 검사시스템은 검사 대상 소자 별로 별도의 검사기를 가지고 있다. 개발된 시스템은 하나의 검사시스템으로 3대의 트랜지스터 검사기를 동시에 제어할 수 있어 가격 경쟁력을 가지며, 여러 종류의 트랜지스터를 동시에 시험할 수 있는 융통성도 제공한다. 기존의 시스템에서 불필요하게 중복되는 부분을 통합하여 효율성을 더 높였으며, 3대의 검사기를 동시에 제어하기 위하여 우선순위를 지원하는 토큰 교환 방식을 사용하였다.

This paper focues on development and implementation of a perfomance management algorithm for IEEE802.4 token bus networks to serve large-scale integrated manufacturing systems. Such factory automation networks have to satisfy delay constraints imposed on time-critical messages while maintaining as much network capacity as possible for non-time-critical messages. This paper presents the structure of a network performance manager that possesses the knowledge about perfomance management in a set of fuzzy rules and deriving its action through fuzzy inference mechanism. The efficacy of the performance management has been demonstrated by a series of simulation experiments.

패트리네트는 시스템의 관계를 시작적으로 보여주어 시스템의 모델링을 쉽게 만든다. 시스템의 각 부분에 관한 정보를 가지고 전체와 부분에 대하여 하향식(top-down)과 상향식(bottom-up) 설계를 할 수 있게 해준다. 패트리네트는 그래프 표현이므로 FMS(flexible manufacturing systems)등과 같은 실시간 제어(real-time control)의 구현에 사용될 수 있으며 토큰 정보로부터 시스템의 각 부분의 상태를 실시간 감시(monitoring)할 수 있다. 패트리네트는 PLC(programmable logic controller)와 같이 여러 요소시스템(subsystem)을 순서대로 동작시키고 조정한다. 시스테메 대한 페트리네트 모델로부터 시뮬레이션(simulation)을 할 수 있고, 이로부터 성능 평가를 할 수 있다.

Analytic and simulation models for prioritized token ring are presented in this paper. Its protocol is based on prioritized token ring with reservation (R-PTR). Since the protocol of the R-PTR is simple and the performance of the R-PTR is not inferior to that of the IEEE-PTR under almost all traffic load environments, we use the R-PTR as our token ring model. By using the properties of Markovian process, the expressions for average throughput and average packet transmission delay are derived. The results obtained from the analytic model are compared with that of the discrete event simulation model.

We had been experienced many cases of esophageal foreign bodies in children especially by coins. Recently, We became to use another coin such as bus-token. Authors report a case of esophageal foreign body which lodged in the first narrowing in female baby of 15 months old.

분산 시스템의 관리를 위해서 시스템 내의 각 컴포넌트에서 발생되는 많은 이벤트 중에 의미 있는 이벤트를 효과적으로 찾아내는 이벤트 파싱 엔진이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 유연성 있는 이벤트 파싱 엔진을 제안한다. 특히 이벤트 파싱 엔진의 내부 구현을 위해서 기존의 룰 기반 접근방법을 변형한 새로운 접근방법을 제시한다. 본 엔진에서는 룰의 조건과 액션을 스크립트 객체화한 스크립트 객체 기반 접근방법과 룰에 해당하는 이벤트들을 찾아낼 때 보다 효과적이 검색을 지원하는 이벤트 토큰 기반 방식을 사용한다.

본 논문에서는 ATM network에서 트래픽 제어를 위하여 리키버켓과 EWMA로 구성된 셀 간격 제어기를 연구한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 토큰 풀을 가진 리키버켓과 시간 윈도우를 가진 EWMA, 간격제어 버퍼로 구성된다. BONeS 시뮬레이터에서 ON/OFF 트래픽 소스 모델을 이용하여 제안한 UPC 알고리즘의 성능을 평가한 결과, 패킷화된 음성 트래픽과 고속 트래픽 소스 모두 셀 간격이 평균 비트율에 수렴하여 제어되는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다.
