The importance of business ethics has been increased as time goes on. However, there are lacks of education and research in business ethics, domestically and internationally. Especially, in Korea, there are not many universities which teach business ethics as formal curriculum and there are not sufficient researches on business ethics. Also, the level of education of business ethics is only restricted to the type of case discussion and research of business ethics is focused only on one topic, corporate social responsibility which is only one of various and important topics in business ethics. Accordingly, as a qualitative research, this paper presents some directions that are essential to education and research in business ethics, discusses what has been educated and researched in business ethics, and proposes what are necessary for the future of education and research in business ethics. Based on this research, various researches which investigate various topics in business ethics are possible in the future.

The present study is to investigate the elements of e-learning strategies affecting the levels of participation, achievement and satisfaction for learners who participated in the university blended learning environment. For this, 58 subjects were recruited who participated in the blended learning class at K university. E-learning strategies, achievement and satisfaction levels were measured for data collection, and the level of participation was measured by analyzing the LMS log-in database. For data analysis, first, means and standard deviation were computed to find the level of e-learning strategies of the subjects. Second, linear regression analysis was conducted to find the e-learning strategies that could estimate the levels of achievement, participation and satisfaction. As a result, variables to estimate the achievement level included time management strategy and overload management strategy. Variables to estimate the participation level included self-directed strategy, time management strategy and overload management strategy. Finally, variables to estimate the satisfaction level included multiple discussion management strategy, asynchronous management strategy and sociality. Based on these estimated variables, the author suggested some ideas to increase the educational effectiveness.

Nobody doubts about the importance of both academic and practitioner journal. Recently, however, many researchers in IS field have presented their concerns on the identity of journal of Information Systems Review (ISR). More specifically, they have been worried and concerned with the trend of deviation from the journal's original objective, which is to be the valuable practitioner-oriented journal in the IS field. With the same view in our mind, we attempt to figure out how to fix this trend. This article first analyzes the characteristics of all papers published in the ISR. Based on the findings, we present the future direction of ISR and discuss the submission guidelines about the more appropriate paper for the ISR in terms of methodology, type, and structure of paper. In addition, we propose the new review process for the newly submitted paper to the ISR. We hope this paper triggers a vigorous argument among many IS researchers and practitioners to make ISR the most prestigious outlet in the IS field.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of problem-based learning(PBL) of information communication ethics on the problem-solving skills of fifth- and sixth-grade elementary school students about information communication ethics and their attitude. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the PBL-based teaching materials for information communication ethics could serve to stir up the interest of students by letting them face problem situations caused by the disfunction of the information society. Second, a wide variety of teaching-learning activities including cooperative learning and discussion were implemented while the selected students performed the given problem-solving tasks, and the activities had a very good effect on PBL-based information communication ethics education. Third, PBL-based information communication ethics education could be one of effective ways to boost not only the problem-solving skills of students but the teaching interest and capability of teachers.

An "admission officer system" has been introduced for the purpose of changing the paradigm from the "current admission system". This is because the current admission system mainly reflects the scholastic ability test (SAT) score regulating student selection for entering university. The admission officer system focuses on not only the students' school records but also, their potential. In addition, this system lets the university screen the students according to its own founding philosophy. One feature of the admission officer system is to cultivate men of ability by caring for the selected students consistently. Typically, students are selected by an admission officer system according to document screening which includes curriculum and non-curriculum scores, discussions, and interviews. On the other hand, the admission officer system might create a lack of objectivity in the way a student is selected because of the admission officer's own subjectivity. In this study, an algorithm in which the admission officer system can maintain the objectivity on student selection is presented. This is so that the student does not experience any disadvantage from the process of the admission officer system.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the understanding of pi of elementary gifted students and explore improvement direction of teaching pi. The results of this study are as follows. First, students understood insufficiently the property of approximation, constancy and infinity of pi from the fixation on 'pi = 3.14'. They mixed pi up with the approximation of pi as well. Second, they had a inclination to understand pi as algebraic formula, circumference by diameter. Third, few students understood the property of constancy and infinity of pi deeply. Lastly, the discussion activity provided the chance of finding the idea of the property of approximation of pi. In conclusion, we proposed several methods which improve the teaching of pi at elementary school.

Teaching is communication between instructor and students. The learning outcomes can be enhanced by active learning of students. However, there are many obstacles to effective learning below, such as lecture notes authored by instructor, passive student participation, and paper-based homework. In this paper, we propose an effective method for enhancing learning effect through constructing learner ontologies in which knowledge discovered by students is conceptualized and organized. The learning ontology is composed of a teacher ontology and many learner ontologies. The learning ontology is used in discussion, visual presentation, and knowledge sharing between instructor and students. We used the learning ontology in two lectures in practice and learned that the learning ontology enhances learning effect through analysis of feedbacks of students.

In 2005, the revision of the Private Investment Law made the private investment objectives to extend a new area, such as institute and well-fare, military facilities by BTL(Build-Transfer-Lease). This revison will cause budget extension from 1.3 trillion to 1.6 trillion in military facilities BTL project Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the general problem of BTL and its cases. And then to be successful project, the problems must be improved. This study was focused on the improvement of regulations and analyzed the general problem from previous studies and the military projects. And then it conducted survey to soldiers for severity and performance. Finally it suggested the improvement of regulations of military facilities in BTL scheme from FGI.

No one can deny that information technology has enormously contributed to the recent economic growth of Korea. Software serves as an essential part of most products and services today. However, economic treatments and social status of software technicians, who are the key players and core elements of the software industry, are in a very unsatisfactory situation. Despite this circumstance, discussion or study on the productivity of software people and approaches to raise value of technical manpower in software industry is scarce. The purpose of this study is to suggest a policy program to uplift the value of technical manpower in the software industry. To achieve this purpose, this paper will examine the present status of software manpower, analyze the productivity of software technicians, and suggest policy programs to improve the value of technical manpower in the software field.

This study aims to investigate development directions for smart contents to support enhancing adaptive behavior skills of children with autistic disorder in elementary school. AHP survey of experts including special education teachers and directors in educational institution for disability children was performed to analyze importance weight for smart contents development necessity and effectiveness in adaptive behavior skills. And the smart contents development suitability through pre-discussion for idea generation for various development method and AHP survey with smart application development experts was evaluated. The results show that the effective and suitable adaptive behavior skills for smart contents development were understanding of languaging, time management and keeping, movement skills, wearing clothes, and personal hygiene in order of importance. Based on this study, education authorities should make an effort not to develop fragmentary educational smart contents but to support development of smart contents and service systems with better effectiveness and usability to meet demand for special education teachers and parents considering characteristics of children with autism.
