Effects of the Trunk Stabilization Exercise Combine in the Musical Tempo on Lumbar Lordosis Angle, Muscle Activity and pain (음악 템포와 병행한 몸통안정화운동이 척주앞기울임각, 근활성도 및 통증에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the trunk stabilization exercise in the musical tempo on lumbar lordosis angle, muscle activity and pain. Methods : For the 30 people with lumbar lordosis angle legion and back pain, a random selection was made with MLSE (15) and LSE (15) to measure VAS, lumbar lordosis angle and Muscle Activity. Result : There were significant decreases in intra group comparisons to lumbar lordosis angle were seen in MLSE and LSE groups, and significant decreases in inter group comparisons in MLSE groups. significant decreases in intra group comparisons to VAS were seen in MLSE and LSE groups, and significant decreases in inter group comparisons in MLSE groups. Significant intra-group comparison of muscle activity, MLSE groups increases were rectus obdominis(right/left) and erector spinae muscle(right/left), LSE groups increases were erector spinae muscle(right/left), and significant increases in inter group comparisons rectus obdominis(right) and erector spinae muscle(left) in MLSE groups Conclusion : Based on the above findings, a program to restore the lumbar lordosis angle, and increase muscle strength should be developed at by applying the combine existing trunk stabilization physical therapy technique and musical tempo.

Music Emotion Control Algorithm based on Sound Emotion Tree (감성 트리 기반의 음악 감성 조절 알고리즘)

  • This thesis proposes the emotions acquired after listening to the music as an emotion model composed of 8 types of emotions, based on the emotion model studied previously. The 5 musical factors selected, that affect the emotion, are tempo, dynamics, amplitude change, brightness, and noise. According to the emotion model composed of 8 types of emotions, 160 songs categorized into the 8 types of emotions were selected, and the actual data was extracted and analyzed. Through the analysis of actual data, an emotion equation made of weighted value of 5 factors was derived, and an algorithm that can predict the emotion by mapping on the 2-dimensional emotion coordinate system through the emotion equation was designed. Also, a way of controlling emotion by moving the coordinates on the 2-dimensional emotion coordinate system was suggested.

Effects of Musical Elements in Korean Traditional Music on Affective Responses (한국전통음악의 음악적 요소가 정서반응에 미치는 영향)

  • This essay researches which affective responses can be made from musical elements of Korean traditional music through adjective description about mood responses. It results that traditional mode which are classified into Pyoungjo and Gyemounjo hardly have any the affective responses, while major and minor mode, tempo, tone color, vertical and horizontal texture have some effects on particular affects. Meanwhile, newly composed Korean traditional music have more effects for as inducing affective responses rather than works as old Korean traditional music. As well as Western music, Korean traditional music induces different affective responses to each musical element. As such, this aspects can be adopted to different realms like background music, commercial music, music therapy and so on.

  • Baroque music was the birth and growth era of modern music, but it was not composed for movies. Baroque music, however, is a feature that is inserted into the movies in many different forms, leading to the overall mood and narrative, and the ability to express the characters' feeling and inner word. Therefore, in this study, five Baroque music works, including the main theme song 'Vivaldi Cantata RV.684' in the movie , are produced, and analyzed through tonal, tempo, dynamics, musical notes, tones, rhythms, musical instrument, and genre. Through analysis, we will study what epic functions and roles Baroque music plays in movies.

  • In recent years, studies in BCI game with popular BCI devices are progressing actively by the development of BCI(Brain Computer Interface) techniques. Most of BCI games have developed as experimental contents for researching. On the game control paradigm, it is insufficient to conduct a study about induced methods of proper barinwave to control the BCI game. In this study, we suggest a rhythm game using BCI which has a new play element that visualizes the rhythm of music and represents the notes of music in sound and a generation method of visual-auditory feedback through the synchronization of the tempo of music with brainwave. Experimental Results make certain that our suggestion is possible for the improvement of game score through the induction of brainwave that is necessary to control the game.

  • 영아는 울음이라는 비언어적 의사 소통 방식을 사용하여 모든 욕구를 표현한다. 하지만 영아의 울음소리를 파악하는 것에는 어려움이 따른다. 영아의 울음소리를 해석하기 위해 많은 연구가 진행되었다. 이에 본 논문에서는 3D 특징 벡터를 이용한 영아의 울음소리 분류를 제안한다. Donate-a-corpus-cry 데이터 세트는 복통, 트림, 불편, 배고픔, 피곤으로 총 5 개의 클래스로 분류된 데이터를 사용한다. 데이터들은 원래 속도의 90%와 110%로 수정하는 방법인 템포조절을 통해 증강한다. Spectrogram, Mel-Spectrogram, MFCC 로 특징 벡터화를 시켜준 후, 각각의 2 차원 특징벡터를 묶어 3차원 특징벡터로 구성한다. 이후 3 차원 특징 벡터를 ResNet 과 EfficientNet 모델로 학습을 진행한다. 그 결과 2 차원 특징 벡터는 0.89(F1) 3 차원 특징 벡터의 경우 0.98(F1)으로 0.09 의 성능 향상을 보여주었다.

  • Mobile phone devices and memory card can be robbed and lost due to the carelessness that might be caused to leak personal information, and also company's confidential information can be disclosed. Therefore, the importance of user authentication to protect personal information is increasing exponentially. However, there are the limitations that criminals could easily obtain and abuse information about individuals, because the input method of personal identification number or the input method of password might not be safe for Shoulder Surfing Attack(SSA). Although various biometric identification methods were suggested to obstruct the SSA, it is the fact that they also have some faults due to the inconvenience to use in mobile environments. In this study, more complemented service for the user authentication was proposed by applying Keystroke method in the mobile environments to make up for the faults of existing biometric identification method. Lastly, the effectiveness and validity of this study were confirmed through experimental evaluations.

  • In this paper, research results on the change of music emotion are described. Our gaol was to provide a method of changing music emotion by a human user. Then we tried to find a way of transforming the contents of the original music into the music whose emotion is similar with the changed emotion. For the purpose, a method of changing the emotion of playing music on two-dimensional plan was describe. Then the original music should be transformed into the music which emotion would be equal to the changed emotion. As the first step a method of deciding which music factors and how much should be changed was presented. Finally the experimental method of editing by sound editor for changing the emotion was described. There are so many research results on the recognition of music emotion. But the try of changing the music emotion is very rare. So this paper would open another way of doing research on music emotion field.

Representative Melodies Retrieval using Waveform and FFT Analysis of Audio (오디오의 파형과 FFT 분석을 이용한 대표 선율 검색)

  • Recently, we extract the representative melody of the music and index the music to reduce searching time at the content-based music retrieval system. The existing study has used MIDI data to extract a representative melody but it has a weak point that can use only MIDI data. Therefore, this paper proposes a representative melody retrieval method that can be use at all audio file format and uses digital signal processing. First, we use Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and find the tempo and node for the representative melody retrieval. And we measure the frequency of high value that appears from PCM Data of each node. The point which the high value is gathering most is the starting point of a representative melody and an eight node from the starting point is a representative melody section of the audio data. To verity the performance of the method, we chose a thousand of the song and did the experiment to extract a representative melody from the song. In result, the accuracy of the extractive representative melody was 79.5% among the 737 songs which was found tempo.

Consumer's Product Evaluation on the Experiential Attributes & Functional Attributes (체험적 속성과 기능적 속성에 대한 소비자 제품평가)

  • This study proposes a theory of consumer experiences based on a cognitive science framework that serves as an alternative to the mainstream marketing paradigm of information processing and choice. The theory consists of three key theoretical constructs: experiential modules, primary vs. secondary experiences, and the hierarchy of experiential modules. Based on this theory, this study investigates the effect of experiential attributes and functional attributes on consumer's product evaluations, and the moderating role of consumer's knowledge. The main research findings are (1) the subjects react faster to sensory and affective stimuli(ex: experiential attributes) than they do to intellectual stimuli (ex: functional attributes), (2) the interaction modularity of attributes(functional vs. experiential) $\times$ tempo(normal vs. fast) $\times$ product knowledge(novice vs. expert) appear significantly with product evaluation as the dependent measure.
