  • This study used a three-dimensional motion analysis system for 15 elite tennis players (male 8, female7) to identify the relevance of scapula movement to shoulder pain. During the flat serve, the angular velocity and joint moment of scapula anterior/posterior tilt, downward/upward rotation, internal/external rotation were calculated and this was compared between groups. As a result, the maximum angular velocity for the anterior and posterior tilt tended to be higher in control group(CG) than in the shoulder pain group(SPG), and the maximum angular velocity for internal and external rotation in all phases except the follow-through phase was higher than that of CG. The maximum moment for the anterior and posterior tilt in the late coking phase was statistically significantly higher than that of SPG, the joint moment for the downward and upward rotation of the coking phase was statistically significantly lower than that of CG, and the moment for the internal and external rotation, the SPG was found to be lower than that of CG in the whole phases.

  • The dynamic characteristics of a tennis racket were identified by experimental modal analysis and the sweet spot due to these was calculated. A tennis racket was selected as a model reference and modal parameters of the racket were estimated from the transfer function measured by experiment. The transfer function was reconstructed by the modified modal parameters on the assumption that the racket was locally modified, for example, a change in the material of the frame and the attachment of a damping material to the grip. The change of the dynamic characteristics, especially natural frequency and magnitude of the second and the third vibrational modes, were evaluated from the reconstructed transfer function. The change of the sweet spot due to the modified modal parameters was estimated and visualized through computer graphic simulation by the criterion of the sweet spot measured before structural modification. The modal parameters for improvement of the dynamic characteristics.

  • The tennis was one of the most popular sport in the general physical education lesson. However there are many problems such as difficult of improvement tennis skill, lack of class days and so many students in a class. These reasons could ultimately damage the overall quality of class. The purpose of this research was to beginner students was fun and easy to learn. The tennis lesson using tools were 1.selective hitting ball, 2. high net hitting ball, 3. hitting orange ball. Scores of the experimental group(n=23) and the control group(n=21) were compared. In order to verify course content was the same 15 weeks, conducted a tennis teaching methods to take advantage of the tools. And tools to take advantage of the students who participated in a class analysis of the qualitative data (interviews, documents, questionnaires, observations, journals). As a result, the satisfaction scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group. The tennis lesson using tools to take positive effect(meaning, improved skill, easy, fun/curious/confident) and negative effect(difficulties of adaptation, a high challenge level) was induced. In summary of the quantitative/qualitative data 'Orange Ball' has a positive impact on the girls than boys and teaching methods using tools gave generally positive influence to students.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Saengmaeg-san intake on blood lipids and arteriosclerosis index in male tennis players. Seventeen male tennis players enrolled in university were assigned to a Saengmaeg-san intake group (n=9) and a placebo control group (n=8) according to whether they took Saengmaeg-san during 4-week high-intensity tennis training. Tennis training was conducted 5 times a week for 4 weeks, and the exercise intensity was performed at 70-90% of the spare heart rate. The intake of Saengmaeg-san was 110ml at a time before breakfast, before, during, during, and after exercise, and after dinner, a total of 7 times, 770ml per day. For all data, mean and standard deviation were used. Two-way repeated measures ANOVA was used to examine the effect of time and treatment, and Pearson's Correlation was used to examine the relevance of differences in blood lipid responses after treatment. As a result of this study, the Saengmaeg-san intake group significantly improved blood lipids (triglyceride, total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol) and arteriosclerosis index, and there was a significant correlation appeared between ∆TG, ∆LDL-C, and ∆TC. As a result, the intake of Saengmaeg-san during high-intensity training of male college student tennis players can have a positive effect on blood lipids and arteriosclerosis index, suggesting that it can be an effective sports drink as an exercise supplement.

  • This study attempted to investigate the effect of competitive anxiety on injury psychology according to the athletic career of tennis athletes at Chinese universities. To study the method, 208 athletes enrolled in a four-year university (0 university, 0 university) located in A City, Hanam Province, were surveyed for a total of three weeks from the end of January to the beginning of February 2023. To verify the research model, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis were conducted using SPSS Statistics 25. And independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA were conducted to find out the differences in variables according to general characteristics, and multiple regression analysis was conducted to verify hypotheses through the concept of measurement. As a result of the study, first, it was found that there was a significant difference in the athletic career of tennis athletes at West China University. Second, the non-standardized coefficient of competition anxiety was found to have a positive (+) effect on exercise weaponry. Third, the non-standardized coefficient of competition anxiety was found to have a positive (+) effect on anxiety and anxiety. Therefore, it was found that other competitive anxiety in the exercise career had an effect on injury psychology. Since competition anxiety according to the athletic career of tennis athletes at Chinese universities affects injury psychology, it suggests that a psychological program that can control competition anxiety and injury psychology of athletes should be developed and introduced to athletes.
