  • International Courier Service can be used for on campus pick-up and delivery of small items on a pre-arranged basis or on call. Same day service is available for important items at a minimal fee. As e-commerce develops, effective procurement and delivery become even more critical success factors, offering great opportunities to the transportation and logistics Industry in an e-Commerce World. Much of the logistics industry has developed, or is developing systems to operate in the new e-market to capture new electronic tailer clients and enhance relationships with current customers. Supply chain solutions based on EC links will eventually become standard, leaving some companies behind. fresh opportunities and reduced entry barriers to new competitors via e-commerce pose a major threat to the present logistics industry. supply chain systems developers and industry consultants that subcontract physical transport of goods to contractors may encroach on traditional logistics industry business. In this paper I tried to explain various aspects of the physical distribution service through international courier service in an e-commerce world and survey the logistics strategy of international courier service companies against development of electronic commerce based on our companies, logistics strategy.

  • The domestic courier market, large and small companies working in more than 100 leading logistics service market is fully open. Year since 2001 has increased by 10%. 1.3 billion per year in 2011 saying the shipping box, and the market size is about 3 trillion won. Courier in 2012 with the growth of online shopping is expected to develop the industry further. However, these courier industry in appearance, but the consumer's personal growth and exposure, exploiting the fears of crime is high. In this paper, using DRM (Digital Rights Management) delivery method to implement information security system is proposed.

  • The critical link between consumer-based internet ordering and the delivery of the product to the consumer is a key success factor in online shopping. Market areas of online shopping company implies the range of space where products ordered from online shopping can be physically delivered to customers distributed over space with reasonable shipping cost and lead time through the physical distribution network. The average rate of growth in online shopping is 36% per year in Korea for the last 5 years. But there are no maps available that describe sales/delivery density of online shopping, few researches are focused on the short-term/long-term adaptation to demand increase by online shopping. In this paper (1) Maps of trade area are described indicating the sales/delivery density around the nation. (2) Empirical researches suggested that short-term adaptation to demand increase resulted in price reduction and service in enhancement of service quality in local transportation. But the long-term adaptation on the parts of parcel delivery industry are to be investigated in future researches.

  • 대한민국을 대표하는 기업!!! ''삼성전자''. 대한민국 국민이면 대부분 인정할 것이다. 그럼 대한민국의 물류산업을 대표하는 기업은? 한진, 대한통운, 현대택배, 범한 등등 우수한 기업들이 많이 거론될 것이다. 그러나, 이들 기업이 우리나라 물류를 대표한다고 하기엔 아직 성급한 면이 있다. 노무현 정부가 들어서면서 동북아 물류중심국가 건설을 위한 종합물류기업 육성을 표명한바 있다. 우리나라에도 외국의 페덱스, DHL, UPS와 같은 글로벌 종합물류기업을 육성하자는 것이다. 그럼, 국제적기업인 페덱스, DHL과 같은 기업을 육성하기 위해 우리나라에서는 어떻게 하면 될까? 다양한 의견이 물류전문가로부터 제시되고 있으며, 추진중에 있지만, 국내에 있는 모든 물류기업을 글로벌 종합물류기업으로 육성하는 것은 다소 무리가 있을 것이다. 그럼, 자생적으로 성장하여 글로벌 종합물류기업이 될 업체는 어떤 업체일까? 이에 본지는 최근 12월 결산법인 기업 중 물류 관련기업을 대상으로 손익계산서상의 매출액과 당기순이익을 기준으로 페덱스와 같은 기업으로 성장할 수 있는 업체를 분석해 보았다. 국제적 물류기업으로 성장할 기업을 재무제표만으로 평가하는 것이 다소 억지가 있지만 외형적 규모를 비교해 보고자 한다. 여기에서 거론된 40여개 기업들은 물류관련업체중 지명도가 다소 있는 기업이지만, 이들 기업이 물류기업을 대표하는 것은 아니다는 것을 밝히며, 여기에서 제외된 우수한 물류기업도 많이 있다는 것을 미리 밝혀둔다.

Correlation Analysis of Factors Influencing the Safety Behavior of Distribution Center Workers (물류센터 근로자의 안전행동에 미치는 영향요인의 상관관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the causal relationship between the safety behavior of delivery man and safety awareness, work environment, and occupational stress, to derive factors for enhancing safety behavior, and to manage them with priority. It seeks to provide basic data on the factors. In this study, with the help of a community site for delivery man, we conducted a questionnaire survey of a total of 119 delivery man working at distribution centers. Questionnaires were created using safety behavior, safety awareness, work environment, and occupational stress measurement tools created using survey questions from other studies. As a result of the analysis, there was a significant difference between safety education and the experience of accidents associated with working period. In addition, there was a significant correlation between safety behavior due to conflicts related to occupational stress, safety awareness and safety behavior, and safety behavior due to the safety system in the work environment. As a result, we investigated whether it was an accident and the factors that influence safety behavior, and concluded that appropriate improvements were needed.

  • With steady increase in the demand for door-to-door delivery services, courier service providers are facing a constant pressure to reduce delivery price in order to secure quantity order and to improve the efficiency and reliability for customer service. The objective of this research is to explain the structure of the door-to-door delivery including door-to-door delivery service demand, sorting capacity in the hub-terminal, and the system performance measures such as service reliability networks using causal loop diagram(CLD). Based on causal relation, this research describes a comprehensive approach to examine how capacity reliability contributes to the renewal of the firm's competences through its reciprocal relationship with travel time reliability and connectivity reliability. Also, this research suggests the policy alternatives to improve effectiveness and efficiency of door-to-door delivery network in response to increase customer satisfaction and profit maximization of the courier service providers: operational, tactical, and strategic levels.

  • 개인정보보호법이 제정 및 시행됨에 따라서 고유식별정보를 처리하는 경우 그 고유식별정보가 분실, 도난, 유출, 변조 또는 훼손 되지 않아야 한다[1]. 하지만 현재 운송업계의 택배 서비스를 이용 시 고유식별정보가 고스란히 노출 되어있으며, 위 변조 또한 가능하다. 이러한 주소, 성명, 전화번호 등 개인을 식별할 수 있는 개인정보를 악용하여, 명의 도용이나 피싱 등의 심각한 문제가 발생될 수 있다. 현재 택배 시스템은 발신, 수신, 배송에 대한 사고 및 논쟁 발생 시 그에 따른 증거자료가 부족하기 때문에 책임이 불명확하다. 이를 사전에 방지하기 위해서는 관련된 증거를 생성, 수집, 유지, 활용, 검사하는 절차와 그 역할을 담당할 신뢰된 제3의 기관이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 현재의 택배 시스템을 점검해 보고 개인정보보호 차원에서의 해결방안을 모색하는 것과 발신, 수신, 배송의 부인방지 서비스 적용을 목표로 한다.
