  • 풍력발전은 신재생에너지 분야에서 태양광 발전과 함께 중요한 에너지원으로서 최대 전력 생산과 전력계통에 대한 적용 문제를 다루기 위해 상당한 노력들이 기울여지고 있는 분야인데, 발전기가 풍속에 따라 최대전력을 생산할 수 있는 속도를 추적해야 하는 어려움이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 풍력발전기의 출력방식을 조사하고 최대출력을 얻기 위한 MPPT출력제어방식에 대하여 조사하고, 풍력발전시스템의 전력계통에서의 적용성을 높이기 위한 기술요소를 제시한다.

  • In this paper proposes a novel tracking algorithm regarding the power loss when operating a tracking system for a rapidly changing insolation to improve the power of PV tracking system. In case of tracking an azimuth and altitude of the sun in realtime, therefore, the actual PV power is less increasing than the power of tracking system fixed a specific position. To reduce the power loss, this paper proposes a nonel control algorithm of the tracking system. The paper is analyzed efficiency about conventional PV tracking method, comparing proposed algorithm with high performance method. We show propriety of proposed algorithm by means of the demonstrable study.

  • 외부 행성에서 생명체 전구물질인 유기물 성분이 처음으로 발견됐다. 미항공우주국 연구진은 '네이처'에서 지난해 5월 허블우주망원경의 근적외선 카메라 및 다중목표물 분광계(NICMOS)를 이용해 지구에서 63광년 떨어진 여우자리에 있는 목성 크기 행성 HD 189733b 대기권에서 메탄 화합물을 발견했다고 밝혔다. 탄소와 수소로 이루어진 메탄은 태양계 행성 대부분에서 발견되지만 외부 행성에서 발견되기는 이번이 처음이다. 연구진은 이 행성에서 물도 발견됐지만 중심별과 가까워 온도가 $900^{\circ}C$로 생명체가 살기에는 너무 뜨겁다며 조건이 이보다 좋은 행성이라면 생명물질을 추적해 볼 만하다고 밝혔다. 지구 대기권에서 메탄은 화학반응을 통해 빠른 속도로 분해되지만 작은 행성에서라면 지구에서처럼 분해된 메탄에서 나온 수소가 빠른 속도로 우주로 빠져 나올 것으로 예상된다. 과학자들은 지구 크기의 행성에서 많은 양의 메탄이 발견된다는 것은 생물학적 과정의 결과일 가능성이 있는 것으로 보고 있다. 메탄은 비생물학적 과정에서도 형성될 수 있지만 이런 경우 다량의 입자를 만들지는 않는다. 과학자들은 2013년 발사될 제임스 웹 망원경을통해다른외부행성에서물과메탄을찾아나설계획이다.

  • This paper describes a virtual instrument system with faulty sensor reconstruction mechanism based on personal computer. This system consists of sensor control board using 16bit RISC machine, error signal reconstruction algorithm based on principal component analysis and auto tunned GUI interface according to the attached sensors. USB module is used for fast communication between PC and sensor controller. To show the veridity of the proposed system, the proposed system was applied to the developed sun tracker with 8 solar sensors.

  • An improved MPPT converter with current compensation method for small-scaled PV-applications is presented in this paper. The proposed method implements maximum power point tracking (MPPT) by variable reference current which is continuously changed during one sampling period. Therefore, the power transferred to the load is increased above $9\%$ by the proposed MPPT converter with current compensation method. As a result, the utilization efficiency of Photovoltaic (PV)-panel can be increased. In addition, as it doesn't use digital signal processor (DSP), this MPPT method has the merits of both a cost efficiency and a simple control circuit design. Therefore, it is considered that the proposed MPPT method is proper to low power, low cost PV-applications. The concept and control principles of the proposed MPPT method are explained in detail and its validity of the proposed method is verified through several simulated results.

  • In photovoltaic generation, PV module is used to generate the electricity, and this system has been in limelight as nonpolluting alternative energy source. But, as energy density is low and PV module cost is high, there is a disadvantage that initial investment cost go up. In this study, we studied the method of allowing a tracker, adequate to photovoltaic generation, for Increasing the generating. We determined the proper error angle in order to decrease the repeating number of tracking without a reduction of the generating by using our developed simulator. And, we presented the photovoltaic approach tracking control and achieved its experiment. Through the result of experiment, it is expected that the fault rate and the consumption of electric power in a tracker get reduced and its cost become cut down.

  • 대체 에너지(태양광, 풍력등)의 전력저장 시스템으로 널리 사용되는 겔형(Gel Type) 밀폐형 연(鉛)축전지의 노화 특성 평가 및 충전회로에 관하여 연구하였다. 납 합금을 이용한 기판 주조 기술과 전해액(Gel) 배합기술이 축전기 성능과 수명을 좌우하며 또한 배터리 충전 시스템에 따른 온도 상승이 치명적인 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 적외선 열화상 장치를 이용한 내부 열원 추적에 의해 노화정도를 측정하며 축전지 수명시험을 통해 입수한 데이터와 비교 평가하고자 한다. 현재 실험실 충방전 수명시험을 마치고 (주)코윈텍이 부안 해창 공원에 설치한 30kW급 풍력발전 시스템에 적용하여 Field Test를 시험중이다.

  • The tracking system on the moving vehicle is made up of two parts. One is a stabilizer which is flatting the system against the moving vehicle, the other is a tracker which is tracking the target. This makes use of the geometric information of the tracking target and that utilizes the dynamic information of the moving vehicle equipping the tracking system. Especially the stabilizer is very important for an ocean vehicle affected by wave, wind, and current. In this paper, the stabilizer of sun tracking system for a ship is developed.

  • This paper is shows the configuration of the maximum power tracking control of Photo-voltaic and battery charge system. Up to now, the chopper system had the problem which a battery become a short life by reason of discontinuity of output current and its energy reduce. But in this paper, We propose the chopper system which maintain the successive output current and at the same time, control the maximum output location by change time-ratio using tracking of energy variation that occur because of the varied volume of insolation per a day and temperature.

  • This paper propose method of maximum power point tracking using boost converter for a connected single phase inverter. The maximum power point tracking control is based on generated circuit control MOSFET switch of two boost converter and single phase inverter uses predicted current control to control four IGBT's switch in full bridge. The predicted current control provide current with sinusoidal wave shape and inphase with voltage.
