Semantic Clustering of Predicates using Word Definition in Dictionary (사전 뜻풀이를 이용한 용언 의미 군집화)

  • The lexical semantic system should be built to grasp lexical semantic information more clearly. In this paper, we studied a semantic clustering of predicates that is one of the steps in building the lexical semantic system. Unlike previous studies that used argument of subcategorization(subject and object), selectional restrictions and interaction information of adverb, we used sense tagged definition in dictionary for the semantic clustering of predicate, and also attempted hierarchical clustering of predicate using the relationship between the generic concept and the specific concept. Most of the predicates in the dictionary were used for clustering. Total of 106,501 predicates(85,754 verbs, 20,747 adjectives) were used for the test. We got results of clustering which is 2,748 clusters of predicate and 130 recursive definition clusters and 261 sub-clusters. The maximum depth of cluster was 16 depth. We compared results of clustering with the Sejong semantic classes for evaluation. The results showed 70.14% of the cohesion.

Theater Reservation System Using SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) (SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics)를 활용한 극장 예약 시스템)

  • Svg(Scalable Vector Graphics) is xml graphic standard recommended by E3C as a language based on xml to express two-dimension graphic. Svg can accommodate all Xml's patency and advantage of interoperability, and can used as various web applications being combined with other xml language. In addition, Svg can be applied to the fields of electronic commerce, geographical information, computer education and advertisement because it can produce high quality of dynamic from real-time data. SVG's application can be enhanced by linking with database. In this paper, we discuss how Svg can be utilized in theater reservation system, not just explaining svg's meaning or ability. Svg added graphic advantage in addition to xml's advantage. This means that svg retains not only graphic element but also xml's softness. It becomes easier to designate seats and add them. Current reservation system provided in general only information on time and price for a ticket, but the system using SVG in this paper provides additional information on position, price, cancellation and purchase availability of seat.

  • The most critical technology to implement ubiquitous health care is Ubiquitous Sensor Network (USN) technology which makes use of various sensor technologies, processor integration technology, and wireless network technology-Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Wireless Sensor Network (WSN)-to easily gather and monitor actual physical environment information from a remote site. With the feature, the USN technology can make the information technology of the existing virtual space expanded to actual environments. However, although the RFID and the WSN have technical similarities and mutual effects, they have been recognized to be studied separately, and sufficient studies have not been conducted on the technical integration of the RFID and the WSN. Therefore, EPCglobal which realized the issue proposed the EPC Sensor Network to efficiently integrate and interoperate the RFID and WSN technologies based on the international standard EPCglobal network. The proposed EPC Sensor Network technology uses the Complex Event Processing method in the middleware to integrate data occurring through the RFID and the WSN in a single environment and to interoperate the events based on the EPCglobal network. However, as the EPC Sensor Network technology continuously performs its operation even in the case that the minimum conditions are not to be met to find complex events in the middleware, its operation cost rises. Moreover, since the technology is based on the EPCglobal network, it can neither perform its operation only for the sake of sensor data, nor connect or interoperate with each information system in which the most important information in the ubiquitous computing environment is saved. Therefore, to address the problems of the existing system, we proposed the design and implementation of USN integration management system. For this, we first proposed an integration system that manages RFID and WSN data based on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Secondly, we defined the minimum conditions of the complex events to detect unnecessary complex events in the middleware, and proposed an algorithm that can extract complex events only when the minimum conditions are to be met. To evaluate the performance of the proposed methods we implemented SIP-based integration management system.

Production and Evaluation of Immunoreactivity of Poly Lysine-Tagged Single Chain Fragment Variable (ScFv) Lym-1 Antibody for Direct Conjugation to Fluorescence Dye (형광 물질 직접 표지를 위한 Poly Lysine 도입 Lym-1 단일사슬 항체의 제조 및 면역반응성 평가)

  • Purpose: Small size of recombinant scFv antibody has many advantages such as rapid blood clearances and improved targeting antibodies to tumor region. On the other hand owing to small size, number of amino group is insufficient in conjugation with chelator and fluorescence labeling. This study is to introduce poly lysine tag to the C-terminal end of scFv lym-1 sequence for fluorescence chelator conjugation. Materials and Methods: Poly lysine scFv lym-1 gene, cloned into pET-22b (+) vector, was expressed in E. coli BL21 (DE3) strain. Antibody purification was performed with Ni-NTA column and then size exclusion column chromatography. Expression and purification levels of poly lysine tagged scFv lym-1 antibody were confirmed by western blot analysis. I-124, I-125, I-131 and Tc-99m were used for radiolabeling of purified poly lysine scFv lym-1. Flow cytometry analysis of FIT( conjugated poly lysine scFv lym-1 was performed for confirmation of immunoreactivity of human Burkitt's lymphoma cells. Results: Poly lysine scFv lym-1 antibody was purified through two steps and identified as molecular weight of 48 KDa. Radiolabeling yields of I-124, I-125, I-131 and Tc-99m into poly lysine scFv lym-1 were >99%, >99%, >95% and >99%, respectively. Flow cytometry analysis of poly lysine scFv and scFv lym-1 was showed similar immunoreactivity to human Burkitt's lymphoma cells. Conclusion: Poly lysine tag was useful for the sufficient number of amino groups to scFv lym-1 antibody for chelator conjugation with minimizing loss of immunoreactivity.
