고객상담센터 또는 Call Center(콜센터)는 기업조직상 고객과의 최일선 접점에 위치하여 고객만족 경영의 중추적인 역할인 대고객 communication이라는 막중한 임무를 담당함에도 불구하고, 우리나라학계 뿐만이 아니라, 미국의 학계에서도 연구가 빈약한 분야이기 때문에 연구의 필요성이 강력히 요청되는 분야이다. 2) 본 연구는 지금까지 고객의 요구에 대응하기 위하여 임기응변적으로 설계 및 운영하여 온 우리나라의 고객상담센터, 특히, 전화고객상담 센터(Call Center)의 효율향상을 위한 경영개선 노력을 위한 “리엔지니어링 전략”에 관한 탐색적 연구다. 연구방법으로서는 문헌(주로 미국) 및 미국의 call center 실태조사 자료를 우리나라의 자료와 비교하여 리엔지니어링의 대상을 탐색하는, 소위 선진지역과의 벤치마킹(benchmarking) 방법을 택하였다. 구체적으로, 본 연구는 콜센터의 효율적인 운영을 위한 주요 구성요소인 인적요소 및 기술적 요소 등을 연구한다. 본 연구는 콜센터 리엔지니어링분야의 문헌을 체계적으로 고찰하였으며 특히 미국의 콜센터와 직접적인(head-to-head) 비교를 처음 시도했다는 점에서 이 분야의 향후 연구에 공헌을 할 수 있다고 믿는다. 또한 이연구의 결과는 우리나라 콜센터 관련 기업실무자들이 리엔지니어링을 추진하는데 중요한 참고자료로 이용할 수 있으며 특히, 관련 software 및 hardware의 설계와 개발에 중요한 방향제시를 할 수 있으리라 기대한다.

When a tracking filter may be designed in the Cartesian coordinate, the covariance of the measurement errors varies according to the range and the bearing of an interested target. In this paper, interacting multiple model based tracking filter is formulated in the Cartesian coordinate utilizing the analytic solution of the steady state Kalman filter, which can be able to consider the variation of the measurement error covariance. 100 Monte Carlo runs performed to verify the proposed method. The performance of the proposed method is compared with the conventional fixed gain and Kalman filter based IMM tracking filter in terms of the root mean square error. The simulation results show that the proposed approach meaningfully reduces the computation time and provides a similar tracking performance in comparison with the conventional Kalman filter based IMM tracking filter.

This paper proposes a new strategy for assisting SMEs in S. Korea to grow by the use of free technologies, which include expired patents, patents that are effective in other countries but not in S. Korea, and technologies that were published without being patented. A key question answered in this paper is how to find valuable technologies developed by large companies that can be utilized by domestic SMEs. A procedure for identifying emerging free technologies was developed and is explained with an example. A quantitative analysis of technology trend was conducted on PCT's published patents that did not include S. Korea as a designated country, and then emerging IPC subclasses were identified. Among those emerging technology areas, the subclass areas where the number of Korean inventors is small were identified as key emerging free technology areas. Our method for identifying emerging free technologies can assist domestic SMEs to advance in the international market and guide the development of a national industrial strategy.

Flow cytometer(유식세포분석분리기:FCM)는 부유되어 있는 세포의 여러 특성을 측정할 수 있도록 고안되었기 때문에 동물의 체내에 있는 세포중 자연적으로 부유되어 있는 혈구세포를 분석하기가 가장 용이하다. 면역계에서 가장 중추적인 역할을 담당하며 면역반응에 특이성과 기억능력 등을 부여하는 림프구와 탐색작용을 가장 왕성히 나타내는 과립구나 단구 등이 혈액내에 존재하기 때문에 FCM을 이용하여 개체의 방어기능을 맡고 있는 면역세포를 분석하는 일이 가장 먼저 활발히 이루어졌음은 당연하였다. 도한 1970년대 면역학이 큰 발전에 이룩한 단크론항체가 Miller와 Kohler에 의하여 개발되었기 때문에 면역세포의 분화항원에 대한 여러 종류의 단크론항체는 FCM의 이용으로 면역세포를 여러 아형으로 분석하고 분리가 가능하게 하였다. 마지막으로 FCM이 최근에 개발된 것에 맞추어 세포성 면역학이 30년 전부터 급속도로 연구되었으므로 면역학적 연구가 FCM의 이용으로 더욱 활성화되었음은 주지의 사실이다. 이런 시점에서 저자는 FCM의 원리와 면역생물학에서의 FCM의 역할에 대하여 간단히 소개하려고 한다.

This article aims to analyze some conditions for the reinforcing social security rights of atypical construction workers, and their socio-economical effects, and furthermore, to explore political measures for compliance with obligation of the four basic social insurances. Although the construction industry is one of the pivotal industry sectors, which contributes to the economic development, it is a typical industry sector, half of whose manpower is atypical and irregular. This kind of reality results especially from its own sectoral features and employment structure. We will argue that our society needs political measures for compliance with obligation of the basic social insurances for the construction workers, and it would help the reinforcing social safety net of the precarious construction workers, and furthermore enhancing competition in the construction industry. For this purpose, we will suggest concrete conditions for compliance with obligation of the basic social insurances and prove its positive socio-economic effects. In the end, we will propose some detailed measures like direct construction, introduction of the prevailing wage, etc. for this politic approach.

This study examined the gender role identity within the Korean context with particular focus on how the changes within Korean society may have impacted on the gender role identities of middle-aged men. This research adapting Q methodology created a sampling distribution of P with 40 middle-aged men aged between 40-59 years old. Each of 40 Q samples were placed in a forced distribution of 9 scales. Secondary analysis of the results was then conducted by principal component factor analysis using the QUANL PC program. Middle-aged men are likely to have traditional masculinity and newly developed femininity, such as caring for others and sensitivity. This means that a consideration of these characteristics needs to understand the gender role identity of middle-aged men.

Under uncertain environments it is necessary for world-class technological capacity to obtain for making the important role in a national development and industrial infrastructure. For strengthening technological capacity based on R&D excellence we have an exploratory study on the cases of excellent technology and excellent organization of public R&D institutes. What consistently revealed in the whole cases of public R&D institutes is to obtain the technological capacity in the world-class level and we could verify it in the cases of global leading technology, flagship project, world innovative technology, world class laboratory, global top group and so on. For enhancing the technological capacity of R&D objects we could consider prospecting sustainedly for the technological capacity of the organizations in order to appear the excellent technological performance, industrializing it as a R&D program or a new growth engine, and forming the organizational consensus of recognizing its technology or organization they selected as the world-class level.

This paper aims to delineate Central Business District(CBD) and subcentres of Seoul and compare the functional differences of them by spatial scan statistics. Most existing studies to delimit Seoul CBD have two limits in the methods to make boundaries. First, most Seoul CBD-defining studies presuppose some central area contains CBD and look into just that area in a concentrating manner because it is too difficult to collect the data in a whole city boundary. Therefore the CBD areas have been localized in that study areas. But I analysed the data of the whole area of Seoul and was able to define the CBD and subcentres of Seoul. Second, I analysed the data by a spatial scan statistics technique and was able to minimize the number of subjective items in constructing some conditions for CBD. The CBD area in this study is enlarged eastward over East Gate, a national treasure in Seoul, than the areas in existing studies. In the contrary, westwardly, our CBD is set back a little. The two competing central places in Seoul, CBD and Gangnam have some different specialized subareas. CBD has more governing authorities and wholesale stores and Gangnam has many conglomerates HQs, Offices and cosmetic clinics.
