This research aims to analyse gender identity and its internal meanings through the main character, Laurence, of the movie (2012) directed by French-Canadian film maker Xavier Dolan. Study examines performative gender identity revealed through the fashion images of Laurence who was born biologically as a man; depending on a theory of Judith Butler who represented a parody, repeatability action, and incorporation as an effect of gender identity. Also 'Internalization of others' and 'Dis-identification' are presented as an internal meanings of Laurence's gender identity which appeared on his(her) fashion images. Laurence parodies woman's fashion styles in repetition to obtain feminity as his(her) appearance. His(her) repetitive actions are construing an internalizing others(women) and visualizing a new-self to become a stylized doer. Dis-identification signifies that gender can be reconstructed regarding the differences of the place and the time and reconstructed outside can be analyzed as externalization of internalization. 'Becoming a woman' means more than what it sounds like to Laurence. It means a new signification of being a woman or redefining gender identity. That is something can be called a genuine transformation and a grant leap for Laurence.

The movie, X-men, develops the narrative with metamorphosis as the main motif making visual effects of characters and background. The objective of this study is to suggest that the metamorphosis motif can be materialized based on the virtuality of "pataphysics" as one of the genre characteristics of superhero movies and the newly materialized virtuality can be aesthetic characteristics of metamorphosis motif movies. With the virtuality that has its own characteristics with metaphorical symbols such as satire on an absurd society out of existing traditions, pataphysics started in mid-twentieth century and has had an impact on art movements of dadaism, surrealism, pop art, and postmodernism. Analyzing the characteristics of pataphysics which were shown in these artworks, we applied it to metamorphosis scenes of the movie. As a result, we found out that it visualized the shape and aspect of inner and outer strength of a superhero with aesthetic characteristics of metamorphosis scenes and it realized the presence, hybridity, and ex-formal properties of pataphysics consisting of overlapped virtual and physical reality, with technical virtuality.

Spatial multiplication phenomenon, expressed through de-constructive trend since the late of 20C, have got changed existing fixed and dis-variable space to smooth, fluid, and changeable space. Ex-form and fluidity of new spatial paradigm have been focused through lots of scientific theories studied between digital thought and indeterminacy and rankless nature phenomena. In 21C fashion, indeterminate and irregular form and space have been crested continuously, which could not explain simply according as the fluidity theory Different from the space crested for multi-function and multipurpose, this is revealed the characteristics of chaosmos that communizes the order and the disorder, deconstruction and creation. Ex-formal space of fashion have shown the relationship of de-centerizing, de-territorial, and do-structural phenomenon among different fashion elements. This paper intends to understand the concept of ex-form, and study expressive manners of ex-formal space of 21C fashion, and conclusion as follows. 1) Overlap changes single space of fashion to multi-layered space through the repeat system of pleats, origami, and folding. 2) Ex-gravity expressed in deviation of the gravity acting vertical direction, for example, twisting, curve, winding, portion. 3) Morphing is shown the change process from single fixed form to different complex form. 4) Blurring is expressed in re-combination and re-arrangement among elements of fashion. 5) Blob shows hybrid fashion space through the liberal compounding and separation of a lot of different elements.

To reduce labor market discrimination, there are lively discussions about the role of extant labor regime based on labor unions. It includes both the critical perspective on extant labor movement and the necessity of new actors for resolving discriminations within labor market. Among new actors, the present study focuses on contingent labor centers. Specifically, we have investigated on the development and identity of contingent labor centers as coalition of local government-labor organization. The core content of this study is to reconstruct the activities and strategies of contingent labor centers throughout the longitudinal approach. From many evidences, we can confirm that contingent labor centers have evolved via three phases such as differentiation, de- politicizing, and networks. This finding also provides insights about inside relationships between contingent labor centers and outside tensions between contingent labor center and extant labor organizations. We finally discuss on the theoretical implications of contingent labor center as new actor for contingent worker movement.
