  • 최근 XR은 LED스크린의 VR과 그 LED 스크린의 외부영역을 AR 그래픽으로 덮는 방법으로 LED에서 표현되는 VR영상과 확장된 AR의 효과로 LED VR의 확장의 개념으로 가상환경 제작으로서 많이 시도 되고 있다. 그러나, 여전히 LED 스크린의 VR에서 어떤 가상의 객체가 AR로 튀어 나올 때 타이밍을 맞추어 전환해야 할 경우 부자연스럽거나 동기가 맞지 않아 합성결과가 어긋나 품질이 떨어지며, 여러 객체를 동시에 수동으로 전환시켜야 할 때 객체의 제어에 어려움이 많을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 그래픽 오브젝트가 VR과 AR의 경계를 오갈 때 자동으로 자연스럽게 전환/합성 가능하도록 하는 'Culling 박스'와 또, 여러 렌더링 머신에서 같은 오브젝트 제어를 동시에 제어 가능한 'TCP/IP 기반의 원격제어 UI'를 설명한다. 컬링박스는 전환해야 할 객체가 많은 복잡한 장면에서 모든 오브젝트가 일정 경계에서 자동으로 전환되며, 원격제어 UI의 타임라인 에디터와 이벤트 제어메뉴 UI를 통하여, 각각의 다른 머신의 시퀀스 및 오브젝트들을 제어 가능하여 효율적인 XR제작이 가능함을 확인 하였다.

Non-coherent TOA Estimation Method based on IR-UWB in Multiple SOP Environments (다중 SOP 환경하에서 IR-UWB 기반의 Non-coherent TOA 추정 기법)

  • This paper proposes a novel non-coherent TOA estimation scheme using multiple correlation process on the existence of multiple simultaneously operating piconets (SOPs). Impulse radio-ultra wideband (IR-UWB) based on direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) using Gold sequence is employed in order to discriminate each piconet. In order to enhance the characteristic of correlation, this paper presents the method of multiple mask operation (MMO). The time of arrival (TOA) of direct line of sight (DLOS) path is estimated via two step coarse/fine timing detection. To verify the performance of proposed scheme, two distinct channel models approved by IEEE 802.15.4a Task Group (TG) are considered. According to the simulation results, it could conclude that the proposed scheme have performed better performance than the conventional method well even in densed indoor multi-path environment as well as in the existence of multiple SOPs.

Experimental Study of Keyword-Based Exploratory Testing (키워드 기반 탐색적 테스트의 실험적 연구)

  • The exploratory test was introduced as a desirable test method due to its fast development cycle, but it is not actively adopted because documentation and analysis of the test range are required for application. On the other hand, keyword-based testing has been introduced as a way to save resources and facilitate maintenance, but it is difficult to plan tests in advance due to the large number of variables such as data, settings, interactions, sequence and timing. However, in keyword-based testing, you can create a test case based on keywords by presenting clear criteria and methods for creating keywords and applying the exploration testing process. In this paper, we propose a model that automates exploratory tests based on keywords. To verify the effectiveness, we compared the general keyword-based test(KBT) and keyword-based exploratory test(KBET), and compared with the exploratory normal test case(ETC) and keyword-based exploratory test(KBET).

Computationally-Efficient Design of Training Symbol for Multi-Band MIMO-OFDM System (다중밴드를 사용하는 MIMO-OFDM에 적합한 연산효율적 훈련심볼의 설계)

  • In this paper, an efficient training symbol design with m-sequence is proposed for the MIMO-OFDM based next generation wireless transmission system which supports gigabits per second data rate. In the traditional blute force method, the preamble design is based on the case by case comparison with the system requirements. This paper discusses a training symbol design methodology for the MIMO-OFDM system based on the m-sequence which has been widely used in the spread spectrum communication areas due to its good correlation characteristics. Also the step-by-step design and performance verification method within the limited search space is discussed. The proposed method targets the design of the training symbol which satisfies system requirements for the packet based MIMO-OFDM wireless communication system including automatic gain control(AGC), timing synchronization, frequency and sampling offset estimation, and MIMO channel estimation.
