Noise Reducation of Concrete Pavement through Application of Random Transverse Tining (콘크리트 포장의 소음 저감을 위한 임의 간격 타이닝 설계 및 적용)

  • This study suggests a suitable random transverse tining for reduction tire/road noise from concrete pavement. Through literature reviews, random transverse tining that can disperse the energy concentrated to the specific frequency was suggested using the LCG(linear congruential generators) algorithm. The spacing of tining from this study is applied to Daegu-Pohang express highway. For the purpose oi comparison, two other random tining sections were included that are research products from Chung-Ang university and Wisconsin DOT. In result of pass-by noise measurement by car, though designed section is superior to the others as noise reduction by reducing pitch noise, the effectiveness is not large. In case of traffic noise measurement, lower noise was observed at random transverse tining sections than uniformly transverse tining section, too. But there are seine differences between pass-by noise and traffic noise.

Performance Evaluation of Surface Textures on Concrete Pavement (콘크리트 거친면 마무리처리에 따른 공용성 평가)

  • This study tries to propose the most effective pavement texture method through the performance evaluation of variable texture methods. Noise 2$\sim$3dB is reduced in the section of uniform space 18m longitudinal tinning. This result is proved by comparing the magnitude of noise in two sections. The noise of 26mm longitudinal firming section is greater than that of 18mm section by 2$\sim$3dB(A). The skid resistances measured in all test section show the reasonable results. The roughness or all the test sections satisfies AASHTO roughness standard (PrI 16cm/km). The result or questionnaire survey about driving quality shows that the longitudinal tinning is the most effective method. As the result of a visual measurement, it is proved that the section applied uniform space 26mm longitudinal tinning and the general section applied uniform space 26mm transverse tinning could drain water effectively. As the result of analysis with the ranking method, the 18mm longitudinal tinning in selected as one of the most effective tinning methods. In addition, 26mm longitudinal tinning, random space transverse tinning, and transverse drag are selected in order.

  • This study tries to compare the noise difference by various surface treatments and to propose appropriate tinning methods. As literature reviews, longitudinally tined pavement is effective to reduce noise made between tire and pavement surface. Various surface treatments were applied to some sections of test road. In case of car, about 2$\sim$3dB(A) was reduced in the section of uniform space 18mm longitudinal tinning. The peak frequency point for truck case happened between 200 and 600 Hz. The maximum noise of car was measured at about 1000Hz. Therefore, it Is proved that surface treatment methods can have a large affect on noise generation. With a result that friction test, the transverse tined pavement showed better frictional characteristics than the longitudinally tined pavement, but as a whole it came out satisfactory result. Results from this study are of early age, so it is required to check the performance continuously.

  • 본 논문은 그루빙(grooving), 타이닝(tining), 텍스쳐(texture) 등의 포장도로의 표면 상태를 차량에 장착된 고성능의 레이저 변위센서를 사용하여 주행 중에 정밀하게 측정하는 도로 표면 측정 장비 개발에 관한 논문이다. 본 논문에서는 전체 시스템을 설계 및 시험제작 하였으며, 차량 주행을 모사한 실험 모형을 이용한 실내 실험 및 시험도로에서의 실제 도로 표면 측정 실험을 실시하였다. 실내 포장도면 모사장비를 이용한 실험 결과 타이닝 폭 오차 2%, 깊이 오차 4%(60km/h)를 얻었으며, 실외에서 차량에 레이저센서를 장착 후 측정한 실험에서는 폭 오차 3.24%, 깊이 오차 5% (50km/h)가 측정되었다. 이러한 실험 결과를 토대로 시험도로 상의 실제 도로 표면 측정 실험에서는 25mm, 18mm, 26mm, 그리고 임의의 간격의 횡 방향 및 종 방향 타이닝을 측정하였고 이를 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문은 그루빙(grooving),타이닝(tinning),텍스쳐(texture) 등의 포장 도로의 표면 상태를 고성능의 레이저 변위센서를 사용하여 정밀하게 측정하고, 측정한 표면 상태를 객관적으로 평가하는 장비 개발에 관한 논문이다. 본 논문에서는 실제 평가 장비 차량을 만들기에 앞서 전체 시스템을 설계하고, 실내에서 차량과 도로의 모사 장비를 만들어 실험하였다. 본 실험에서는 오실로스코프와 DAQ (Data Aquisition) 보드를 사용하였다. LabView로 선호처리 프로그래밍을 하여 컴퓨터 화면에 GUI 형태로 나타내었다. 측정 데이터는 컴퓨터의 저장 공간에 저장하여 후처리를 가능하게 하였다. 또한, 실제 평가 장비 차량에 장착하게 될, GPS(Global Positioning System) 시스템으로 부터 실시간으로 평가 장비 차량의 이동거리 데이터를 얻었다. 실험 결과 차량이 80km/h로 주행할 때 도로 표면 타이닝의 폭과 깊이가 평균 9.67% 오차를 보였으며, 이동거리는 0.03% 이내의 오차를 보여 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었다.

A Study on Randomization of Tining Space for Reducing Road Noise (도로소음 저감을 위한 타이닝 간격 랜덤화에 관한 연구)

  • When driving on uniformly tining concrete pavement road, the whine noise which has high spectrum at the specific frequency related to the uniform tining space exist. In this paper, a randomization method of tining space for concrete pavements is proposed to reduce the whine noise. The proposed method is developed based on the LCG(linear congruential generator) algorithm. The design parameters used in the method are number of different tining space, ratio of each tining space, total linings of each size. sequence of actual tining under given constant drag length and texture. Monte Carlo simulations are used to validate the proposed method.

A Study on the Vehicle Interior Noise for Tinning Randomization (타이닝 간격 변화에 따른 차량 실내소음 연구)

  • In order to remove the whine noise which has high frequency spectrum related to the uniform tinning space in concrete pavements, randomization study of the tinning space has been done. One of the random tinning space proposed by the authors in the previous study has been applied to the certain region of tile Daegu-Pohang high way construction. In this study, the vehicle interior noise and vibration have been measured in the proposed random tinning road and compared with the data measured in the uniform tinning road. The results show that the magnitude of the peak spectrum is decreased by 18dB(A), and the overall noize level decreased by 4dB(A).
