A Study on the Design and the Performance Improvement of IP Access Control Protocol for External Mobile terminal (외부 이동단말의 접근제어를 위한 IP 프로토콜 설계 및 성능 개선에 관한 연구)

  • Access control protocol have verified security of external mobile terminal that access to inner information sever at Ubiquitous ages. In this paper, I would design for If Access Control Protocol of considering operation time when make cipher digital signature. Public key are used Individual identification number that issued from certify communication company, and cipher algorithm are used ECDSA definition factor for generation and verification of digital signature and it used Elliptic Curve with over 160 bit Key. Also, Access control operate on If level that designed IPv6 frame architecture. I would conclude that IP Access Control Protocol have verified security and improved performance in operation time more 4 times than before protocols when through the communication of use cipher digital signature for authentication and verification.

  • To provide high quality contents, game companies are introducing a new technology. One of the ways is the game character animation would utilize the motion capture. However, because of the economic burden, small businesses do not have a chance to take advantage of the motion capture. The purpose of this study is to derive benefit from cost and time saving by simplifying the existing production method based on a case of utilize to motion capture system. In addition this study has find ways to apply the key frame animation, so that is will be help to develop game contents.

  • The study is content-based video retrieval system based on the news video domain as researching for the video data processing method for searching the multimedia information. For the implementation of effective system, We retrieval meaning information and special information using the knowing knowledge about formation and structure of the video data. These are possible to retrieval searching by articles fast and accurately by indexing contents the users want to search. The news domain used in experiment of our system is the KBS news on the air nowadays and precision and recall is used to evaluate the experiment and performance.

  • In this paper, I propose an image based feature extraction method for an automatic golf swing analysis. While most swing analysis systems require an expert like teaching professional, the proposed method enables an automatic swing analysis without a professional. The extracted features for swing analysis include not only key frames such as addressing, backward swing, top, forward swing, impact, and follow-through swing but also important positions of golfer's body parts such as hands, shoulders, club head, feet, knee. To see the effectiveness of the proposed method. I tested it for several swing pictures. Experimental results show that the proposed method is effective for extracting important swing features. Further research is under going to develop an automatic swing analysis system using the proposed features.

  • 최근 주요 이동통신 사업자, 단말기/칩 제조업체, 콘텐츠 제공업자들 사이에는 모바일 3D 분야가 가장 큰 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 이러한 환경을 기반으로 모바일 장치에서 3차원 아바타 애니메이션 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이는 아바타의 자연스러운 동작은 사용자에게 아바타가 살아있는 듯한 느낌(Life-likeness)과 사실감(Believability)을 심어주어 보다 친숙한 인터페이스로 활용될 수 있고 이에 따라 채팅이나 온라인 게임 외에도 교육, 쇼핑몰, 비즈니스 등 다양한 분야로 확대되고 있기 때문이다. 하지만 지금까지의 연구는 자연스러운 모션 생성에 집중되어 있을 뿐, 어떻게 쉽게 아바타는 제어할 것 인가에 대한 연구가 적었다. 특히 모바일 환경에서 효율적인 아바타 동작 제어를 위한 연구는 부족하다 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 환경에서 효율적인 아바타 동작을 제어를 위해 스크립트(Script) 기반의 아바타 동작 제어 기법을 제안한다. 모션 생성을 위해 아바타 동작 스크립트(Avatar Motion Script)를 정의하여 아바타 애니메이션의 기록, 재생이 가능하다. 둘째 계층적 스크립트(Multi-Level Script) 기법을 이용하여 적은 양의 데이터만으로도 아바타 동작 제어가 가능하다. 셋째 어느 환경에서도 Motion이 생성, 재생이 가능하한 플랫폼 독립적 구조이다. 넷째, 키 프레임(Key Frame) 기반의 모션을 이용하여 아바타의 상황 상황에 모션이 변하는 동적 동작 생성이 가능하다.

  • This paper uses $Color-x^2$ histogram that is composed of merits of color histogram and ones of histogram, in order to efficiently extract violent scenes in elevator. Also, we use a threshold so as to find out key frame, by use of existing $Color-x^2$ histogram. To increase the probability that discerns whether a real violent scene or not, we take advantage of statistical judgments with 20 sample visual images.

  • IPTV, VOD와 같은 스트리밍 서비스와 유료 케이블 TV 방송 채널, 유료 위성방송 채널 등에는 반드시 제한 수신 시스템(Conditional Access System, CAS)이 필요하다. CAS시스템은 인증 받은 사용자에게는 깨끗한 화면을 보여주어야 하고 인증 받지 않은 사용자에게는 정상적으로 화면을 즐길 수 없도록 하여야 한다. 이러한 환경을 만들기 위하여 추가비용이 적은 알고리즘이 필요한데 그 방법으로 암호화를 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 CAS 등의 인증시스템을 위하여 H.264 영상의 선택적 암호화를 구현하였다. 제안하는 방법은 여러 가지 포맷으로 된 콘텐츠를 트랜스코딩하여 YUV 형식으로 변환한 뒤, 이것을 H.264 코덱을 이용하여 압축한 다음 필요에 따라 특정한 부분을 암호화하는 것이다. 실험을 통하여 암호화 키가 없는 미 인증 사용자는 영상을 제대로 볼 수 없었고 암호화의 강도를 강하게 할 경우 재생은 되지만 영상의 확인이 불가능함을 확인하였다. 또한 300프레임의 영상을 암호화 하는데 평균 71.3초가 걸려 속도 역시 빠름을 확인하였다. 제안하는 내용은 IPTV, VOD와 같은 스트리밍 서비스에서의 사용자 인증 및 저작권 보호 등의 분야에 유용하게 사용될 것이다.

  • According to recent rapid price drop and capacity growth of main memory, the number of applications on main memory databases is dramatically increasing. Cache miss, which means a phenomenon that the data required by CPU is not resident in cache and is accessed from main memory, is one of the major causes of performance degradation of main memory databases. Several cache-conscious trees have been proposed for reducing cache miss and making the most use of cache in main memory databases. Since each cache-conscious tree has its own unique features, more than one cache-conscious tree can be used in a single application depending on the application's requirement. Moreover, if there is no existing cache-conscious tree that satisfies the application's requirement, we should implement a new cache-conscious tree only for the application's sake. In this paper, we propose the cache-conscious generalized search tree (CC-GiST). The CC-GiST is an extension of the disk-based generalized search tree (GiST) [HNP95] to be tache-conscious, and provides the entire common features and algorithms in the existing cache-conscious trees including pointer compression and key compression techniques. For implementing a cache-conscious tree based on the CC-GiST proposed in this paper, one should implement only a few functions specific to the cache-conscious tree. We show how to implement the most representative cache-conscious trees such as the CSB+-tree, the pkB-tree, and the CR-tree based on the CC-GiST. The CC-GiST eliminates the troublesomeness caused by managing mire than one cache-conscious tree in an application, and provides a framework for efficiently implementing arbitrary cache-conscious trees with new features.

Automatic Anticipation Generation for 3D Facial Animation (3차원 얼굴 표정 애니메이션을 위한 기대효과의 자동 생성)

  • According to traditional 2D animation techniques, anticipation makes an animation much convincing and expressive. We present an automatic method for inserting anticipation effects to an existing facial animation. Our approach assumes that an anticipatory facial expression can be found within an existing facial animation if it is long enough. Vertices of the face model are classified into a set of components using principal components analysis directly from a given hey-framed and/or motion -captured facial animation data. The vortices in a single component will have similar directions of motion in the animation. For each component, the animation is examined to find an anticipation effect for the given facial expression. One of those anticipation effects is selected as the best anticipation effect, which preserves the topology of the face model. The best anticipation effect is automatically blended with the original facial animation while preserving the continuity and the entire duration of the animation. We show experimental results for given motion-captured and key-framed facial animations. This paper deals with a part of broad subject an application of the principles of traditional 2D animation techniques to 3D animation. We show how to incorporate anticipation into 3D facial animation. Animators can produce 3D facial animation with anticipation simply by selecting the facial expression in the animation.

A Study on Shot Segmentation and Indexing of Language Education Videos by Content-based Visual Feature Analysis (교육용 어학 영상의 내용 기반 특징 분석에 의한 샷 구분 및 색인에 대한 연구)

  • As IT technology develops rapidly and the personal dissemination of smart devices increases, video material is especially used as a medium of information transmission among audiovisual materials. Video as an information service content has become an indispensable element, and it has been used in various ways such as unidirectional delivery through TV, interactive service through the Internet, and audiovisual library borrowing. Especially, in the Internet environment, the information provider tries to reduce the effort and cost for the processing of the provided information in view of the video service through the smart device. In addition, users want to utilize only the desired parts because of the burden on excessive network usage, time and space constraints. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance the usability of the video by automatically classifying, summarizing, and indexing similar parts of the contents. In this paper, we propose a method of automatically segmenting the shots that make up videos by analyzing the contents and characteristics of language education videos and indexing the detailed contents information of the linguistic videos by combining visual features. The accuracy of the semantic based shot segmentation is high, and it can be effectively applied to the summary service of language education videos.
