  • The clustering technique using RF fingerprint extracts the characteristic signature of the transmitters which are embedded in the transmission waveforms. The output of the RF-Fingerprint feature extraction algorithm for clustering identical DMR(Digital Mobile Radios) is a high-dimensional feature, typically consisting of 512 or more dimensions. While such high-dimensional features may be effective for the classifiers, they are not suitable to be used as inputs for the clustering algorithms. Therefore, this paper proposes a dimension reduction algorithm that effectively reduces the dimensionality of the multidimensional RF-Fingerprint features while maintaining the fingerprinting characteristics of the DMRs. Additionally, it proposes a clustering algorithm that can effectively cluster the reduced dimensions. The proposed clustering algorithm reduces the multi-dimensional RF-Fingerprint features using t-SNE, based on KL Divergence, and performs clustering using Density Peaks Clustering (DPC). The performance analysis of the DMR clustering algorithm uses a dataset of 3000 samples collected from 10 Motorola XiR and 10 Wintech N-Series DMRs. The results of the RF-Fingerprinting-based clustering algorithm showed the formation of 20 clusters, and all performance metrics including Homogeneity, Completeness, and V-measure, demonstrated a performance of 99.4%.

  • The on-line games in the past were played by only two persons exchanging data based on one-to-one connections, whereas recent ones (e.g. MMORPG: Massively Multi-player Online Role-playings Game) enable tens of thousands of people to be connected simultaneously. Specifically, Korea has established an excellent network infrastructure that can't be found anywhere in the world. Almost every household has a high-speed Internet access. What made this possible was, in part, high density of population that has accelerated the formation of good Internet infrastructure. However, this rapid increase in the use of on-line games may lead to surging traffics exceeding the limited Internet communication capacity so that the connection to the games is unstable or the server fails. expanding the servers though this measure is very costly could solve this problem. To deal with this problem, the present study proposes the load distribution technology that connects in the form of local clustering the game servers divided by their contents used in each on-line game reduces the loads of specific servers using the load balancer, and enhances performance of sewer for their efficient operation. In this paper, a cluster system is proposed where each Game server in the system has different contents service and loads are distributed efficiently using the game server resource information such as CPU utilization. Game sewers having different contents are mutually connected and managed with a network file system to maintain information consistency required to support resource information updates, deletions, and additions. Simulation studies show that our method performs better than other traditional methods. In terms of response time, our method shows shorter latency than RR (Round Robin) and LC (Least Connection) by about 12%, 10% respectively.

  • Data mining extracts interesting knowledge from a large database. Among numerous data mining techniques, research work is primarily concentrated on clustering and association rules. The clustering technique of the active research topics mainly deals with analyzing spatial and attribute data. And, the technique of association rules deals with identifying frequent patterns. There was an advanced apriori algorithm using an existing bit-clustering algorithm. In an effort to identify an alternative algorithm to improve apriori, we investigated FP-Growth and discussed the possibility of adopting bit-clustering as the alternative method to solve the problems with FP-Growth. FP-Growth using bit-clustering demonstrated better performance than the existing method. We used chess data in our experiments. Chess data were used in the pattern mining evaluation. We made a creation of FP-Tree with different minimum support values. In the case of high minimum support values, similar results that the existing techniques demonstrated were obtained. In other cases, however, the performance of the technique proposed in this paper showed better results in comparison with the existing technique. As a result, the technique proposed in this paper was considered to lead to higher performance. In addition, the method to apply bit-clustering to GML data was proposed.

  • Fully dehydrated Tl12-LTA (|Tl12|[Si12Al12O48]-LTA,Tl12-A) was treated with 6.0×103 Pa of ZrI4 (g) at 623 K for 72 hr under anhydrous conditions. The crystal structure of product, |Zr0.25I1.5Tl12|[Si12Al12O48]-LTA, was determined by single-crystal crystallography using synchrotron X-radiation in the cubic space group Pm3m (a = 12.337(2) Å). It was refined using all data to the final error index (for the 712 unique reflections for which Fo> 4σ(Fo) R1/wR2= 0.055/0.189. In this structure, octahedral ZrI62- ions center about 25% of the large cavities (Zr-I = 2.91(4) Å). Each coordinates to eight Tl+ ions and they are further bridged by Tl+ ions in the planes of 8-rings to form a cubic three-dimensional ZrI6Tl119+ cationic cluster. About 1.5 Tl+ ions per unit cell moved to deeper side of sodalite cavity after reaction with ZrI4(g). The remaining Tl+ ions occupy well-established cation positions near 6- and 8-rings.
