유압 회로를 이용한 초고속 스핀들의 언클램핑(unclamping) 시간 저감 방안 연구 (A Study on the Decrease of the Unclamping time using Hydraulic Circuit)

  • According to the demand of the high productivity, the interest of manufacturing skills is growing in industrial society. Especially the high speed spindle in machining center becomes important these days. The exchange time of the tool in machining center usually calls T-T(tool to tool) time. Detailly explaning, It is influenced by the unclamping time. Affecting factors of the unclamping time are various(the hydraulic system, drawbar mass, a flow meter, disc spring, a piston diameter, pipe diameters, and so on). In this study, we could find factors that decrease the unclamping time and verify it for softwares.(AMESim $4.0^{(R)}$ & visual Nastran $4D^{(R)}$)

  • By the reason of increased demand of high productivity, the researches on manufacturing process and equipments for reducing cycle time have been made in many directions of a machine tool industries. Especially high productivity is very important to machining center with high-speed spindle. This paper proposed method of reducing T-T(tool to tool) time which results in shorter unclamping time. T-T time varies as factors such as a hydraulic system, a drawbar mass, a flow meter, a disc spring, piston and pipe diameters. In this paper We could find design factors has much influence on decreasing the unclamping time using DOE(Design of Experiment) and optimized the level of the factors using AMESim $4.0^{(R)}$ and visualNastran $4D^{(R)}$ Finally, we have verified improved result of the optimized factors with initial design.

전자레인지 포장품의 클램핑 해석 및 설계 (Clamping Analysis and Design of a Package of a Microwave Oven)

  • Behavior of a package of a microwave oven under the clamping condition is evaluated by tests and the finite element analyses. PAM-CRASH software is used for the finite element analyses. Results of the analyses are compared with those of the tests and accuracy is shown to be favorable. Under the clamping condition of the original design, severe deformation occurs and an improved design of the outer case and upper EPS(Expandable Poly Styrene) is proposed to reduce it. Face beads of the outer case are introduced and shape of the upper EPS is modified to reduce the deformation resulting from the clamping load. The improved design model is analyzed and its deformation is shown to be satisfactory. A prototype is produced according to the improved design and tests are performed. Results of the clamping test of the prototype show that the plastic deformation is removed totally.

  • This paper presents the construction of micro tool clamping device using a Ni-Ti shape memory alloy(SMA) ring. Clamping force of the device is produced by elastic force of the SMA reverted to its original shape in normal temperature. Phase transformation of the SMA was realized by temperature control using a peltier element. Prototype of the SMA tool clamping device was fabricated and examined its clamping force and clamping/unclamping operation.

  • In this paper, a rotating tool clamping device was developed based on a shape memory alloy(SMA) and its feasibility as a tool holder was experimentally explored. The SMA-based device was able to alter clamping to unclamping through temperature control within 1 second. The means and repeatability(${\sigma}$) of the tool clamping force were 185.5N and 6N respectively and its drifts were less than 3% for an hour. Considering the temperature hysteresis of the SMA-based tool clamping device, it is necessary to heat the SMA ring to around $50^{\circ}C$ after tool change to obtain more clamping force.

  • This paper deals with the issue of force synchronizing control for the clamping servomechanism of injection molding machines. Prior to the controller design, a virtual design model has been developed for the clamping mechanism with hydraulic systems. Then, a synchronizing controller is designed and combined with an adaptive feedforward control in order to accommodate the mismatches between the real plant and the linear model plant used. As a disturbance, the leakage due to the ring gap with relative motion in the cylinder has been introduced. From the robust force tracking simulations, it is shown that a significant reduction in the force synchronizing error is achieved through the use of a proposed control scheme.

  • 본 논문은 철도 차량용 electro-mechanical brake (EMB)의 클램핑 포스 과도응답 향상을 위한 토크 예측 제어 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 철도 차량에는 공압식 제동 시스템이 사용된다. 공압식 제동 시스템은 외부환경 변화에 민감하며, 과도응답 속도가 느리기 때문에 공주시간이 증가한다. 또한, 긴급 제동과 같은 기준 이상의 제동 토크를 인가하는 경우에 제동 효율이 낮은 단점이 있다. 이러한 공압식 제동 시스템의 단점은 철도 차량용 EMB 시스템을 적용하여 극복할 수 있다. 철도 차량용 EMB 시스템은 차량의 축중을 감소시키고, 설계 공간을 확보하기 때문에 연비 증가 및 설계 유연성 확보 등의 장점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 철도 차량용 EMB의 클램핑 포스 과도응답 향상을 위한 제어 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 제어 방법의 타당성은 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증한다.

  • 송전선로에 새로운 Spacer damper를 설계하는데 이 논문의 목적이며, 이 설계되는 새로운 Spacer damper는 매우 중요한 특징과 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한, 최근 Spacer damper의 문제가 프랑스, 일본 등 다른 나라에서도 자동화 시스템과 함께 많이 발전되어 왔다. 개발된 Spacer damper외 설치는 특별한 기기없이 설치가능하며, 최근 자동 클램핑 장치 이용한 Spacer damper가 도입되어 피로 파괴와 미풍진동에 매우 효과적임이 입증되었고 보수유지가 거의 필요없으므로 경제성도 높으나 고가의 수입가격으로 인해 국산화의 필요성이 절실하다.

  • The design of composite joint is a very important research area because they are often the weakest areas in composite structures. In this paper, the failure load of the mechanically fastened composite joint with the clamping force was predicted by the failure area index method. By the suggested failure area index method, the strength of the mechanically fastened composite joint could be predicted within 22.5% when clamping force was applied to the composite joint.
