Design and Analysis of Mobile-IPv6 Multicasting Algorithm Supporting Smooth Handoff in the All-IP Network (All-IP망에서 Smooth Handoff를 지원하는 Mobile-IP v6 멀티캐스팅 알고리즘의 설계 및 분석)

  • The QoS(Quality of Service) guarantee mechanism is one of critical issues in the wireless network. Real-time applications like VoIP(Voice over IP) in All-IP networks need smooth handoffs in order to minimize or eliminate packet loss as a Mobile Host(MH) transitions between network links. In this paper, we design a new multicasting algorithm using DB(Dynamic Buffering) mechanism for Mobile-IPv6. A key feature of the new protocol is the concepts of the DB and MRA(Multicast Routing Agent) to reduce delivery path length of the multicast datagram. Particularly, the number of tunneling and average routing length of datagram are reduced relatively, the multicast traffic load is also decreased.

  • 유무선 통합서비스가 물리적인 네트워크 자체의 통합을 의미하는 것이 아니라, 각 사업자별 서비스, 마케팅 접속, 인터페이스, 콘텐츠 등의 통합을 의미한다. 즉 소비자의 입장에서는 기존 유선과 무선으로 나뉘어 있던 서비스들을 유무선 관계없이 동일한 콘텐츠를 다양한 인터페이스를 통해 이용할 수 있게 되는 것이다. 이를 위해서는 특정 통신 사업자들이 대부분의 유선 네트워크를 포설 운영되고 있기 때문에, 유무선통합 및 방송통신융합의 진정한 실현과 IP-TV를 통한 콘텐츠 활성화를 위해서는 현재의 수직적 규제체계를 수평적 규제체제로 전환함과 동시에 사업자 분류체계를 물리적 네트워크, 플랫폼, 콘텐츠 영역으로 분리해야 한다. 이와 같이 본 고에서는 방송통신융합에서 발생하고 있는 여러 문제점들 중에서 IP-TV 도입 환경에서 발생하는 네트워크와 관련한 진입규제 및 네트워크 중립성 문제에 대한 방안을 모색하기 위해 국내 유선통신시장 환경을 분석하고, 이를 통해 국내 네트워크 정책의 바람직한 방향을 제시하였다.

  • The mVoIP service is the technology which focuses on the wireless data service as the IP network having the transmission rate of 100 Mbps classes on the high-speed middle of movement through the WiFi, WiBro and 3G mobile radio communication network, and etc. and is developed. Since 2010, the mVoIP (mobile VoIP) service shows the rapid growth due to 4G-LTE service seriously disclosed from July with the Smart phone and 2,011 it begins to be rapidly popularized. In this research, additionally the mVoIP service industry activation plan is presented with the trends of technology development including the chip-set/module/terminal, etc. based upon local and foreign market trend searchlight through the market demand analysis. The mVoIP service downloads App to the mobile apparatus and or can provide the service as the software through the WiFi network. Therefore, the change which is large in the products development aspect is to be have no. Expected to is being provided as the added service in the case of 4G-LTE as a matter of course, the service deployment where it is based on the market principle and demand needs is needed.

  • In a VoIP(Voice over IP) system which support the realtime speech service, speech quality is deteriorated by the delay, the jitter, the loss, and the reversed packet order. In this thesis, APBC for receiver site is proposed, which compensate the jitter by the adaptive playout algorithm and conceal the packet loss, and align the packet order. Also, a VoIP application system is implemented, and the performance of APBC is verified on the implemented system by measuring the processing speed and the speech quality. From the result, processing speed is 257$\mu$sec, which is fast enough to deal with packet being received in realtime. Also, the speech quality by MOS(Mean Opinion Score) is improved as 18 percent compared with algorithm of fixed playout delay.

  • The best way in order to protect the system resource front Distributed Denial of Service(DDoS) attack is cut off the source of DDoS attack with path retracing the packet which transferred by attacker. Packet marking method can not use ICMP cause by using IP identifier field as marking field. And in case of increasing the number of router, retracing method using router ID has the size of marking field's increasing problem. In this paper, we propose that retracing method can be available the ICMP using marking field for option field in IP header and the size of making Held do not change even though the number of router is increased using the mark information which value obtained through XOR operation on IP address.

Improved LC-trie for Efficient IP Address Lookup (효율적인 IP 주소 검색을 위한 개선된 LC-trie)

  • IP address lookup is one of the most important and complex functions in the router. In this paper, we propose an improved technique of LC-trie to increase the performance of IP address lookup in the high performance router. We effectively apply the prefix pruning method, which is used for the compression of the forwarding table in TCAM((Ternary Content Addressable Memory), to the LC-trie. This technique can decrease the number of memory accesses and upgrade the lookup speed. Moreover, through the real forwarding table and the real traffic distribution, we evaluate the performance of our scheme in terms of the lookup time and the number of memory access, comparing with that of the previous LC-trie.

  • The basic observation of the present paper is that cryptographic solutions that have been proposed so far completely ignore the communication context. IPSec is a security protocol suite that provides encryption and authentication services for IP messages at the network layer of the Internet. We propose example to provide key recovery capability by adding key recovery information to an IP datagram. It is possible to take advantage of the communication environment in order to design key recovery protocols that are better suited and more efficient.

  • XML4IP는 현재 세계지적재산권기구(WIPO)가 특허, 디자인, 상표 정보를 교환하는데 상호운영성을 지향하기 위해 개발하고 있는 표준이다. XML4IP는 단순히 지재권 데이터를 처리하고 교환하는 것 뿐만 아니라 현존하고 있는 각각의 지재권 정보 표준을 대체하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이에 XML4IP의 현재까지 진행된 표준 내용 및 각국 특허청의 논의내용을 분석하였고, 세계 각국이 지향하는 지재권 정보 처리 방안에 대한 의견을 종합하였다.
