본 논문은 논문, 특허, 연구보고서 등과 같은 다양한 과학기술문헌에 포함된 기술 지식을 효과적으로 추출하는데 필요한 기반 텍스트 분석 엔진들의 성능 평가 및 개선을 위한 테스트베드 툴킷을 소개한다. 이 툴킷은 과학기술분야의 전문용어를 비롯한 인명, 지명, 기관명 등을 자동으로 인식하는 기술개체인식엔진을 위한 테스트베드와 인식된 기술개체 간의 의미적 연관관계를 자동으로 추출하는 기술개체 간 관계추출 테스트베드 로 구성되어 있다.

In ubiquitous environments, recommendation service based on multiple contexts is required. The total amount of information is larger due to the greater number of contexts in multiple context environments. This paper proposes a new effective recommendation method adaptive to multiple contexts in ubiquitous environments. A new method of recommendations in multiple context environments is suggested that uses user's preferences and behavior as a weighting factor. This paper describes the recommendation method, scenario and the experimental results. The results verify that the proposed method's recommendation performance is better than other existing method.

중소기업을 대상으로 지원되는 기술 및 시장정보는 주로 경영에 필요한 의사결정에 반영되어 경영성과로 실현되는 과정을 거치게 된다는 인식을 바탕으로 중소기업에게 밀착적으로 지원되는 기술 및 시장정보의 영향을 평가하기 위하여 정보활용도와 의사결정기여도라는 요인을 도입하고 이를 조사함으로써 밀착정보지원이 중소기업에 미치는 효과를 제시하였다.

This study aimed at investigating the effects of grouping participants in pairs according to their relative vocabulary proficiency on the incidental improvement of vocabulary knowledge. Forty six university students were divided into three groups (high-high(n=14), high-low(n=18), or low-low(n=14)) and took part in the study. They performed three vocabulary activities in pairs as extra-class works. Data were collected from one receptive vocabulary knowledge test scores before treatment and two posttest scores after treatment. The results showed that, unlike former study results, HL dyads acquired more vocabulary receptively and productively than HH or LL dyads did, which demonstrated that collaborative pair activity was conducive to the growth of vocabulary knowledge. Furthermore, not only higher proficiency participants in HL pairs made greater vocabulary gains than participants in HH pairs did but also lower proficiency participants gained more vocabulary than participants in LL pairs did. Based on these results, we discussed pedagogical implications.

Recent years, mirror therapy or mirror neuron therapy has been used to improve neural damage of upper extremities among stroke patients. This systematic review was conducted to assess the clinical effect of mirror therapy used for the treatment of upper extremities for patients with stroke. After literature search, researchers selected for 9 randomized controlled clinical trial studies registered up to October 2013 based on PubMed database, using the following search terms: mirror therapy, mirror neuron, stroke, paresis, hemiplegia, upper extremity. There were significant improves of distal upper extremity function in the use of mirror therapy groups but the research using range of motion(ROM) as outcome measure. In conclusion, mirror therapy was more effective than conventional therapies or sham therapies for upper recovery of distal upper extremity function among stroke patients.

The object of this study is to investigate how to effect on the response characteristic if the image were used in the internet survey about the social issues. Especially in case of the social issues with pros and cons opinions, the effects of the image on the response characteristics were investigated. In this study, the response attitude of the 4 different groups to 3 social issues was measured at March, 2013. The 4 different groups are following: group with only text information, group with positive image, group with negative image, and group with both image. It is shown in the outcome of analysis on survey that the group with negative images tend to respond negatively and the group with positive images tend to respond positively. It means the priming effect. As a conclusion of this study, if the image were used in the social investigation, the image should be selected discreetly and the effect of image should be reflected in the analysis in consideration of the priming effect of the image.

The purpose of this study was to develop indicators for information and communication technology(ICT) use in elementary education, which are useful tools for forecasting and deciding the policy of education in the society of information technology. We analyzed prior studies on information and communication indicators, and suggested a survey forms to collect data and an equation for each indicator in order to calculate an index from the data without additional survey-cost. They can be intended to be explored on definitions of ICT use in education, indicators for ITC use in elementary education, illustration of utilizing the indicators, and an analysis of differences among schools on the indicators.

To analyse the absorbed radiation dose of the visual organs (eyes, corneas, lenses) during a head CT scan, a with the purpose of radiation protection was designed. Afterwards, the reduction rate of radiation dose when using an eye-shielding was analyzed. The results showed that the higher the energy, the higher the absorbed dose of the eyes. Excluding the head, the organs with high dose were the eyes, corneas, and lenses, respectively. Furthermore, the dose reduction rate before and after shielding was between 38% and 55% for the eyes, and between 35% and 52% for the corneas. In the case of the lenses, when the front was shielded, the reduction rate was 51%, and when the front and the side were shielded simultaneously, the reduction rate was 67%.

Recently, E-Learning based on wide-area infrastructure is being spotlighted as the new means to innovate education at school and develop human resources at society and appeared as the main point of digital content industry. In this paper, we analyze the characteristics of base technology of E-Learning software and developed E-Learning software quality evaluation model by analyzing quality characteristics for quality test and evaluation of E-Learning software. To do so, we established the quality evaluation system and developed the evaluation model to evaluate the quality about E-Learning software by introducing related international standard. We think that this will promote development of competitive E-Learning software products.

This case study analyzed the effect of capstone design on students' competence and class satisfaction. Three subjects developed in S university were analyzed, and 92 students participated. Results show that the lesson structure of the capstone design was developed to provide students with problem solving competence and practical business skills through hands-on experience. In addition, the students' competence was enhanced, and their satisfaction in class was very high. Statistical results show that, compared to the existing classes, class satisfaction in capstone design improved significantly. Considering the foregoing results, this study suggested that for the capstone design, the lesson structure and method need to be diversified to provide more opportunities for students to participate and become active. The assessment procedure and method also have to be more objective to lessen subjectivity and to increase class satisfaction in capstone design.
