The purpose of this paper is to examine the ethical implications in UCC participation. This paper aimed at examining the advent of UCC as a critical media tool in interactive two-way communication and the effect of ethical questions on the level of UCC participation. The findings show that uncertainty avoidance gives an positive and significant effect on privacy concern and regulatory preference, but it is not related to copyright invasion in Korea and U.S.A. It is shown that privacy concern does not influence on UCC retrieval in Korea whereas it is positively related to UCC retrieval in the United States. Also, privacy concern has not relationship with UCC production(modification, recreation, generation) in both nations. In the case of regulatory preference, it posits an significant and positive effect on UCC retrieval in Korea while it is not related to UCC retrieval in the United States. Also, regulatory preference does not affect on UCC production in Korea whereas it influences on UCC generation without impacting UCC modification and recreation in U.S.A. Finally, the results show that copyright invasion has stronger relationship with UCC recreation and generation than UCC modification, and it is positively related to UCC retrieval in both nations.

The online distribution systems under the wireless environment include many different factors from the conventional offline and wired networks. Furthermore, the multimedia content may be propagated more easily and illegally. The scheme to protect the rights and profits of people related to the copyrights of digital content Is needed. In this paper a framework for content distribution under the wireless environment based on MPEG-21 and UCI application process are proposed. This model can be applied to the digital rights management system and utilized to protect the rights of trading entities in online distribution of electronic commerce.

인터넷의 급속한 발달로 인해 아날로그 콘텐츠에서 디지털 콘텐츠 서비스로 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 다양한 분야에서 디지털 콘텐츠를 이용하여 오프라인 시스템을 대체하게 되었다. 하지만 디지털 콘텐츠의 특성 때문에 불법 복제 및 무단 유포의 문제점과 저작권 침해의 문제점들이 발생하게 되었다. 따라서 보안 서비스에 대한 요구사항도 급격히 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 워터마크 기술을 기반으로 인터넷 환경에서 사용자가 원하는 워터마킹을 이용하여 불법 복제를 방지함으로써 안전한 문서보안 콘텐츠를 제공하기 위한 시스템을 구현 및 설계 하였다.

Smart Phone with domestic demand increasing rapidly, the utilization of multimedia services have become diverse. Also relevant to mobile communication terminal as a high crime, create, and the digital evidence increases the utilization of the mobile forensic evidence is required to study. In this paper, Smart Phone Copyright Violation and Forensic Apply Method research. Smart Phone Status and related violations of copyright infringement, broadcasting, film, music, e-book, etc. for each survey item, and how to apply for forensics were studied. This study investigated the development and forensic science will be able to contribute to the development.

인터넷과 멀티미디어 기술의 발달은 우리에게 다양한 콘텐츠를 손쉽게 접할 수 있는 환경을 제공하였다. 그러나 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 무분별한 복제와 불법유통으로 인한 저작권 침해는 심각한 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이에 정부는 저작권법을 전면 개정하면서 강력한 대응책을 마련하고 있다. 특히 개정 저작권법은 동영상, 음악, 게임 등 다양한 콘텐츠에 대한 불법 유통을 방지하고자 특수한 유형의 온라인서비스제공자들의 기술적 조치(필터링)를 의무화하고 있다. 이에 따라 필터링기술에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 해당 온라인서비스사업자(OSP)들은 필터링 기술의 적용을 준비하고 있으며, 기술개발업체들은 법적 기준을 충족시킬 수 있는 필터링 기술의 개발을 위해 노력하고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 상황의 배경과 필터링 기술의 개요와 국내외 동향 및 향후 전망을 제시한다.

디지털 정보의 생성과 배포의 용이성은 디지털화된 동영상의 제작을 증가시키고 있다. 그러나 디지털 콘텐츠는 복제가 쉽고 누구나 접근이 가능한 인터넷을 통해 전달될 수 있으므로 저작권 침해가 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 문제점은 특히 사용자의 PC에 저장되어 재생되는 동영상에 주로 발생하였으며, 종래에는 사용자의 PC에 저장된 동영상 파일의 보호를 위해 동영상 파일의 전체를 암호화한 후 적법한 사용자에게만 암호화된 동영상 파일을 복호화 할 수 있는 정보를 제공하는 방법을 사용하였다. 사용자의 PC에 저장되어 재생되는 동영상에 비하여 스트리밍 서비스를 통하여 재생되는 동영상은 사용자의 PC에 저장되지 않도록 함으로써 불법 복제등의 문제를 해결하였다. 하지만 근래 스트리밍을 통하여 서비스되는 동영상을 저장할 수 있는 프로그램이 속속 등장하면서 스트리밍을 통하여 서비스되는 동영상에 대한 보호 방안도 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 스트리밍 컨텐츠로 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 마이크로소프트의 멀티미디어 파일 포맷인 ASF를 기반으로한 스트리밍 시스템에 DRM을 적용하는 방안에 대하여 설명한다.

With the development of internet technology, a lot of content is produced, and the demand for it is increasing. Accordingly, the number of contents in circulation is increasing, while the number of distributing illegal copies that infringe on copyright is also increasing. The Korea Copyright Protection Agency operates a illegal content obstruction program based on substring matching, and it is difficult to accurately search because a large number of noises are inserted to bypass this. Recently, researches using natural language processing and AI deep learning technologies to remove noise and various blockchain technologies for copyright protection are being studied, but there are limitations. In this paper, noise is removed from data collected online, and keyword-based illegal copies are searched. In addition, the same heavy uploader is estimated through profiling analysis for heavy uploaders. In the future, it is expected that copyright damage will be minimized if the illegal copy search technology and blocking and response technology are combined based on the results of profiling analysis for heavy uploaders.

이 세상의 모든 저작물은 기본적으로 아이디어와 표현의로 구성되어 있다. 교육용 소프트웨어, 게임 소프트웨어, 영화 등 디지털콘텐츠도 예외는 아니다. 저작물에서 Idea와 표현을 구별하는 것은 소송에서 피고에 의해 복제된 부분이 저작권을 침해 했는가를 판단하는데 있어서 매우 중요하다. 그 이유는 저작권법이 표현을 보호하고 Idea 는 보호하지 않기 대문이다. 미야자키하야오의 감독의 최근 애니메이션인 "하울의 움직이는 성"에서 어떤 부분이 Idea이며 또 표현인지를 정확히 구분하기란 대단히 어려운 일이다. 19세 소녀가 미녀의 저주에 결려 90세 할머니로 변해 미녀들의 심장을 먹고 산다는 하울의 움직이는 성에 들어가 격는 모험, 사랑, 마법 등 플롯(plot)은 과연 Idea일까, 아니면 표현일까? 이하에서는 Idea와 표현 2분법을 저작권법의 기본 원리로서 둔 법정책적 근거에 대해 살펴보고, 문학,미술,음악, 컴퓨터프로그램 등 다양한 종류의 저작물에 있어서 Idea와 표현은 무엇이며 또 어떻게 식별할 수 있는지 몇가지 사례를 통해 알아 보도록 하겠다.

It requires protection technologies to permit consumer to store a digital broadcasting content and at the same time to protect the intellectual property from illegal action. There is content encryption as one of protection technologies. In this paper, we proposed a protection scheme for digital broadcasting content that broadcasting server. Multiplexes the encryption key into MPEG-2 TS(transport stream) to be able to encrypt received TS at set top box. The proposed method is to modify PMT(program map table) for the information related encryption key and to multiplex key as TS packets. After then the encryption key is extracted from TS stream which is encrypted in set top box.
