  • This study aimed to identify the trends of related research as a basic study for the development of creative convergent formative education program of natural structure concept. This study sought to identify research trends present in previous studies. The nature structure of the preliminary research was limited to the three concepts: (i) fractal ; (ii) kinetic and (iii) biomimicry. In this study, the trends of domestic research in the last 10 years related to the concept of natural structure were analyzed using academic research information service. It was found that, to date, little research has been conducted on the three concepts across education fields. In relation to the fractal concept, previous research has focused on mathematics. This preliminary study sought to review the abovementioned three concepts or the development of a modeling education program. It should be significant, if an education program adopted unlimited modeling principles to understand the innate features of the nature structure. However, very few education programs have adopted the three concepts of the nature structure. Future studies would seek to review international research trends based on the three concepts of the nature structure and combine the results on international research trends with the results on domestic research trends found in this study.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate on paid hospital-nurses' work perception, knowledge, performance and the performance-related factors of a nurse who works in a hospital with no guardian which is phased in its beginning as well as interactions between the factors. Data were collected from nurses working in wards without guardian at 9 hospitals among a total of 10 Korean hospitals carrying out a national pilot project which is designed for institutionalization of national caregiving services. Self reported questionnaires were used to collect data from 167 nurses, and 135 returned forms were analyzed(December, 2010). The score of perception was 4.24/5.00, knowledge 4.25/5.00, and performance 3.49/5.00. The performance was significantly different depending on the hospital types(p=.002). Significant correlations were found among perception(p<.001), knowledge(p=.004) and performance. The degree of perception(p<.001) and types of hospital(p<.001) attributed to 16.5% of variance in the practice. To enhance level of performance by taking account of perception and types of hospital, can be effective for hospital-nurses when there is no guardian.

  • Recently, as new weapons are being developed, test equipments to test their functions inevitably require real-time features. However, since test equipments based on Windows can not support real-time requirements, we have no choice but to use third-party solutions such as RTX or INtime. This leads to increase the development cost of each test equipment. This paper suggests an real-time implemented kernel(RTiK) which operates as a device driver on Windows. RTiK provides another timer using the Local APIC of x86 microprocessors. It supports real-time requirements by periodically executing the required services using Windows-independent timer interrupts to guarantee task deadlines. To reduce the interrupt latency, we used deferred procedure calls provided by Windows. We also used the export driver to implement and modify user-defined functions without accessing the RTiK internals. Using an oscilloscope, we prove that the RTiK kernel proposed in this paper guarantees up to 0.1ms periods.

  • GPS location information storage included in the HD black box is using a unique manner for each manufacturer does not have a specific standard. In this paper, in order to overcome the limitations of the storage space and thereby the image quality according to store GPS position information deteriorate to solve the problems that cause, we propose the location information concealment method included in the HDTV video content using a essential hidden region. HDTV video content is a Border Extender of 8 lines in the frame to the bottom of the compression will be required. This was inserted into the image of a gray scale used in block form in order to space the current position information is concealed to prevent image degradation. The proposed method was confirmed using real HD black box, there are more difficult to interpret the format of the ASCII code re-edit the location information when the compression effect disappears with the existing security zones added. Therefore, the proposed method is suitable for location-based services, such as Facebook or Youtube videos.

  • Form the observation that the successful management and operation of university websites brings about university branding effects, this paper attempts to identify the problems in relation to evaluation elements of university homepages and establish a new evaluation model that allows us to grasp the importance and priority of phased evaluation elements. In particular, we tried to secure the objectivity of the importance of department homepage evaluation elements by using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). Our analysis shows that among 29 evaluation elements of department homepage, mobile service, curriculum, description of department's characteristics, guide to homepage usage/accessibility to site map and differentiated educational method were considered to be relatively important whereas the relative importance of department's slogan, differentiated image and identity, linkage to SNS, Q&A bulletin board, operation of department community, and FAQ was low. Based on the findings from our analysis, we present the basic foundation for successful management and operation of university department homepages along with a few suggestions for vitalizing those hompages.

  • In the 4th Industrial age, mobile games are a highly competitive but highly profitable industry, with hundreds of games per day. To produce a successful mobile game, it is necessary to understand the mobile environment and consumers in the mobile era, and a study that can provide implications for the importance of various factors is needed. The purpose of this study is to explore the in- and out-of-game factors that influence the success of mobile games and to examine the relationship between these factors and customer satisfaction and loyalty. As a result, the game platform's system quality and service quality had a positive effect on the evaluation, and the price policy did not have a significant effect on the evaluation. Also in the flow factor, goal and interaction (relationship) had a positive effect on the flow, and skill or challenge did not have a significant effect. The effects of flow and platform evaluation on customer loyalty were all positively affected. First. Companies must derive customer opinions and actions about the game through continuous interaction with customers. Second, if the game gives customers the proper goals and functions to enable the interaction between users, more successful games can be developed.

  • This study aimed to explore goals and development process of Child·youth Friendly Cities certified by UNICEF Korea and to provide a research basis for promotion and development of Child·youth friendly cities in Korea. Researchers conducted in-depth interviews with experts in two cities designated as UNICEF Child·youth Friendly Cities in early days. The findings showed that in order to successfully build and maintain friendly cities for children and youth, active interest and efforts of local governors and government officials for promoting friendly cities and policy enforcement based on four principles of child rights were required as prerequisite. In relation to managing Child·youth friendly cities, two cities selected as cases of this study provided universal social welfare programs for children and youth and expanded after-school care services for local students. Moreover they tried to promote decision making and protect rights of children and youth by allowing them to participate in community programs. The important distinctions of these cities were that they established a department exclusively for children and youth and closely cooperated with experts in private sectors. However, participants agreed that there should be more comprehensive and multilateral approach for building Child·youth friendly cities, adoption of incentive system for certification of Child·youth friendly cities and more active promotion of the UNICEF project. In conclusion, the researchers proposed policy implications.

  • When video service is performed in simulation using NS-2(Network Simulation-2), the video replay is performed as the received frame order. In the existing video replay method based on the received frame order, as the frame orders of receiver and transmitter are different, the receiver buffer does not have the effect that the packets between the frames of transmitter buffer holds a regular size and packet dense and sparsity phenomenon in the receiver buffer is made by the irregular packet size due to the unpredictable reversed order of received partial frames. The above dense and sparsity phenomenon increases the probability of buffer overflow and underflow generation. To prevent these problems, the proposed frame receive order relocation method adds an extra replay buffer which rearranges the order of receive frame as the order of transmit frame, so it has the effect that the packets between the transmit frames keeps a regular size. Through the simulation using NS-2 and JSVM(Joint Scalable Video Model), the generation number of buffer overflow and underflow, and PSNR(Required Peak Signal to Noise Ratio) performance between the existing method and proposed method were compared. As a result, it was found that the proposed method would have better performance than the existing method.

  • As defense science and technology are developing, smart weapons are being developed continually. The collection and analysis of the future strategic weapon information from all over the world have become a greater priority because information sharing became active. So, a system to manage and analyze heterogeneous defense intelligence is required. Semantic Web is the next generation knowledge information management technology for integrating, searching and navigating heterogeneous knowledge resource. Recently, Semantic Web is wildly being used in intelligent information management system. Semantic Web supports the analysis with the high reliability because it supports the simple keyword search as well as the semantic based information retrieval. In this paper, we propose the semantic web based multi-dimensional information analysis system on the national defense weapons that constructs ontology for various weapons information such as weapon specifications, nations, manufacturers and technologies and searches and analyses the specific weapon based on ontology. The proposed system supports the semantic search and multi-dimensional information analysis based on the relations between weapon specifications. Also, our system improves the efficiency on acquiring smart weapon information because it is developed with ontology based on military experts' knowledge and various web documents related with various weapons and intelligent search service.
