  • These days in execution of building works are increasing possibility of defect occurrences. On this, construction safety policy has been enforcing prevention for fault construction. But argument in relation to defects is increasing every day, because regulations for defects are abstract and uncertain. Therefore we analyzed patterns and reasons of defect, researched into question for rational solution about defect responsibility and responsibility period of a warranty in argument.

  • 과연 콘크리트 구조물에 있어서 누수 균열은 문제가 되는 것일까? 이에 대해 설계, 구조 시공, 재료(콘크리트), 방수, 품질 및 안전의 관련 전문가는 여러 가지 이견을 말하고 있다. 또한 콘크리트 구조물에 관계하는 발주자, 건축주, 사용자, 시공자의 입장도 상황에 따라 다르게 해석하고, 평가하고 있다. 예를 들면 일반적으로 발주자(건축주 등)는 시공자에게 누수 균열은 하자이므로 무조건 보수할 것을 요구하는 반면 사용자(언론 포함)가 문제를 제기할 때(공공공사의 경우) 발주자는 이에 대해 크게 문제되지 않는다고 답변하는 경우도 많다. 어떤 기술자는 콘크리트의 누수 균열은 피할 수 없는 사항이므로 근본적으로 해결할 수 없으므로 완벽한 시공 및 보수는 어렵고, 다만 전체적인 누수량이 어느 정도 이하가 되도록만 관리할 뿐이라고 말하고, 또한 지하 구조물의 누수 균열은 피할 수 없어, 누수를 시각적으로 가리기 위한 보호벽을 쌓아 관리하는 것이 당연하다고 말하는 기술자도 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 일반 사용자들은 무조건 누수균열이 없어야 한다고 의견을 제시하고 있다. 특히 언론에 구조물 누수의 문제가 수시로 보도되어 관계자 및 관련 건설기술자들의 자존심이 크게 훼손되고, 이를 보수하기 위한 비용이 엄청나게 지출되고 있음을 볼 때 적당히 간과해서는 안될 문제임에는 틀림없다.(중략)

  • The latest domestic construction sector is receiving economic damage because of defect litigation. The Concrete Crack among them has the largest component in expense of apartment house defect. Also, contradictory suggestion of appraiser is problem. To improve these problem, need objective plan that people concerned can recognize about decision sequence. Therefore, in this study, compared general defect investigation and defect decision of appraiser taking advantage of Data Dictionary analysis method. Also, deduced current problem and amelioration plan.

  • 일반적으로 공동주택 지하주차장과 같이 구조물이 대형화되거나 복잡할 경우 구조물의 응력취약 부위에서 균열, 누수 등의 문제가 발생할 확률이 크다. 이에 대한 대책으로 설계자들은 신축줄눈을 선호하고 있으나 신축줄눈은 시공상의 어려움과 사용 중 잦은 하자 발생이라는 문제점을 안고 있다. 이 때문에 근래에 들어 대형 건물을 한 단위로 처리하고 철근으로 보강하려는 경향이 있으나 구속도 차이에 따라 균열, 누수 등의 문제가 여전히 발생하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 수축대를 설치하여 일정 요구량의 초기 수축량을 수축대에서 흡수하고 이후 수축대 부위에 콘크리트를 메워 일체화시킴으로써 초기 수축에 의한 균열을 상당부분 방지할 수 있다.(중략)

  • Concrete is a widely used material due to its excellent compressive strength and durability. However, depending on the surrounding environment and the characteristics of the materials used in the construction, various defects may occur, such as cracks on the surface and subsidence of the structure. The detects on the surface of the concrete structure occur after completion or over time. Neglecting these cracks may lead to severe structural damage, necessitating regular safety inspections. Traditional visual inspections of concrete walls are labor-intensive and expensive. This research presents a deep learning-based semantic segmentation model designed to detect cracks in concrete walls. The model addresses surface defects that arise from aging, and an image augmentation technique is employed to enhance feature extraction and generalization performance. A dataset for semantic segmentation was created by combining publicly available and self-generated datasets, and notable semantic segmentation models were evaluated and tested. The model, specifically trained for concrete wall fracture detection, achieved an extraction performance of 81.4%. Moreover, a 3% performance improvement was observed when applying the developed augmentation technique.

  • The purpose of this study presents in Relations between cracks in self-leveling material and quality of floor groundwork surface are experimentally examined. As the first stage, the experiment to observe cracks in self-leveling material constructed on floor groundwork made from various kinds of concrete was carried. As a result, following basic findings were obtained. First, observation of cracks should be continued until an increase in width of cracks stop, without constructing any finishing material. Second, degree of cracks may be indicated quantitatively by the product of length and width. Finally, Cracks and separation is not be influenced by specimen size. Based on these findings, the method of predicting cracks by evaluating surface layer quality of floor groundwork will be established.

  • The Crack, occurred in the concrete structure, is a major cause of function deterioration such as strength, durability and waterproof. Therefore the need for crack reduction will continue as long as there is concrete structure. But, it is not easy to reduce or prevent crack cause of impact factor of it. There are so many factors of crack such as material, construction and maintenance environment, and structure, and these are acting in combination. So, this study derives a correlation between the cracks and members through reviewing member crack occurred. And member's attribute, related crack, is analyzed by it. It consider that the basic attribute of member is similar when its requirements are similar. Through this study, therefore, foundation of countermeasure of crack will be provided by prediction of crack shape through member's attribute.

  • Because of the supply-demand problem of aggregate, recently, the construction sites using 100% crushed sand are increasing and the use of low quality aggregate such as farmland sand is increasing too. When the low quality aggregate is used, the various quality defect of concrete such as the strength reduction, the increase of shrinkage and bleeding can be occurred. Therefore, in this study, the performance improvement PC admixture was developed to minimize the quality defect of plain concrete of basement parking area, when the low quality aggregate was used at the plain concrete of basement parking area. The slump loss to elapsed time test, the compressive strength test, the bleeding test and the drying shrinkage test were carried out.

Analysis of Defect Risk by Work Types based on Warranty Liability Period in Apartments (공동주택 하자보수보증기간에 기초한 공종별 하자위험 분석)

  • Apartment is a typical type of housing preferred by the majority of people. However, and defect disputes occur because various defects such as cracks, subsidence, breakage, water leakage, dew condensation and dropout are confirmed with numerous structures and finishing materials. From this point of view, this paper analyzes defect frequency and costs of each warranty period by work types, and estimates defect risks by using defect dispute cases. It examined about 5,337 defect items for 32 apartment over ten years old. In this paper, there are 10 types of work types and the warranty liability period is divided into 6 categories. Based on these categories, defect frequency and costs are investigated, and finally defect risk of the warranty liability period by work types confirmed. As a result of this analysis, it was found that defect risk in RC and finishing work is very high. Especially the RC work revealed that there is a high risk of trying from the third year onwards and it was found that the defect risk up to the second year is high in the finishing work. Due to aging of RC structure, the defect risk gradually increases, and finishing work initially cause defect disputes because of the housing environment.
