A variety of retrofit material such as CFRP, GFRP, and PolyUrea have been developed for strengthening RC structures and infrastructures. From previously reported research results, the capacity of strengthened concrete structures was dictated by the behavior of the interface between retrofit material and concrete. In this study, bond-shear test was carried out to estimate the bond behavior between retrofit material and concrete using a newly developed test grip. The test results of load and slip relation and energy absorption capacity of each retrofit material were obtained. These test results will provide basic information for retrofit material selection to achieve target retrofit performance.

The plain and simple shape water front structure were designed and installed for wave protection and wave resistance. But the installation of these plain and simple structure cause deficiency of environmental affinity. Also the resonance phenomena from the reflective wave and shipwave of the harbor incident wave caused high tide and wave, consequently maintaining the tranquility of inside harbor, give difficulty for mooring the ship and loading-unloading, increase the possibility of ship collision at the quray wall and landing place To solve these problems, we develop the environmentally friendly wave dissipation block. And installation efficiency, stability of the blocks through experiment of C.E Block Joint.
This paper presents an experimental study on the potential durability enhancement of infrastructures repaired by a sprayed high ductile fiber-reinforced cementitious composite (ECC). For this study, a PVA-ECC which exhibits sprayable properties in the fresh state and tensile strain-hardening behavior in hardened state was sprayed and tested. The experimental results show that the sprayed ECC exhibits mechanical properties with strain capacity comparable to the cast ECC with the same mix design. During loading, the crack widths of ECC are tightly controlled with an average of 30${\mu}m$. It is also revealed that when sprayed ECC is used as a repair material, ductility represented by deformation capacity at peak load of repaired beams in flexure are obviously increased in comparison to those of commercial prepackaged mortar (PM) repaired beams. In addition to high delamination resistance, the significant enhancement of energy absorption capacity and crack width control in ECC repair system suggest that sprayed ECC can be effective in extending the service life of rehabilitated infrastructures.
The purpose of this paper is to make an understanding of fundamental mechanism of shear behaviour between rock and concrete interfaces in the pile socketed into granite. The interface of pile socketed in rock can be modeled in laboratory tests by resolving the axi-symmetric pile situation into the two dimensional situation under CNS(constant normal stiffness) direct shear condition. In this paper, the granite core samples were used to simulate the interface condition of piles socketed in granite in our country. The samples were prepared in the laboratory to simulate field condition, roughness(angle and height), stress boundary condition, and then tested by CNS direct shear tests. This paper describes shearing behaviour of socket piles into domestic granite through the analysis of CNS test results. It was found out that the peak shear strength increases with the angle of asperity and CNS value, and also the dilation increases with the angle of asperity but decreases with the CNS value.
The modeling of uplift pressure within dam, on the foundation on which it was constructed, and on the interface between the dam and foundation is a critical aspect in the analysis of concrete gravity dams, i.e. crack stability in concrete dam can correctly be predicted when uplift pressures are accurately modelled. Current models consider a uniform uplift distribution, but recent experimental results show that it varies along the crack faces and the procedures for modeling uplift pressures are well established for the traditional hand-calculation methods, but this is not the case for finite element (FE) analysis. In large structures, such as dams, because of smaller size of the fracture process zone with respect to the structure size, limited errors should occur under the assumptions of linear elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM). In this paper, the fracture behaviour of concrete gravity dams mainly subjected to uplift Pressure at the crack face was studied. Triangular type, trapezoidal type and parabolic type distribution of the uplift pressure including uniform type were considered in case of evaluating stress intensity factor by surface integral method. The effects of body forces, overtopping pressures are also considered and a parametric study of gravity dams under the assumption of LEFM is performed.

In this study, the flexural capacity of fiber reinforced concrete floor slabs were evaluated using main design loads, racking and moving loads. Based on design standards and guidelines, the magnitude and loaded area of each load were determined, and its relationship was assessed. For the application of a single load, flexural capacity should be evaluated in the edge of a floor slab. In addition, the slab with thickness and concrete strength, greater than 180mm and 35MPa, respectively, sufficiently satisfied flexural capacity with a minimum of equivalent flexural strength ratio. The combination of racking loads required the largest equivalent flexural strength ratio to satisfy the flexural capacity of the floor slab. The combination of racking and moving loads showed equivalent flexural strength ratio smaller than the case of combination of racking loads, but larger than the application of single racking or moving loads. The results of this study indicated that the flexure of fiber reinforced concrete floor slabs should be designed using the combination of design loads.

Various kinds of shear connectors such as headed stud, channel, perforated steel plate and others are commonly used to transfer stress and conduct composite performance in steel concrete composite structures, and many researches have been conducted to improve the characteristics of different types of shear connectors. It is focused in this study on the pull-out and pushout performance of steel pipe pile cap with the open type perfobond for the composite connection to the spread footing. A parameter analysis was conducted, using ABAQUS, a nonlinear finite element analysis program, to obtain data for determining the characteristics of the structure and to allow various parametric analyses of steel pipe cap with the open perfobond.
To understand the deformation behavior of nonwoven geotextiles(NWGT) reinforced soil wall, analyses of load-elongation properties, soil-reinforcement interface friction, laboratory model tests, and field cases throughout literature reviews are being studied in this paper. According to the analyses results, the stiffness and tensile strength of NWGT is increased in proportion to confinement pressures, and the interface shear strength at soil-NWGT appeared to be stronger than soil-geogrid interface. The deformation at the beginning of loading on NWGT reinforced soil wall is larger than geogrid reinforced soil wall, but the wall deformation with NWGT is smaller than the wall of geogrid after passing some loading point in laboratory model tests. Case analysis results have shown that the facing of NWGT reinforced soil wall should be rigid enough to be used as a permanent wall, and NWGT and in-situ poor soil can be used for reinforcement and backfill respectively if the wall is constructed as pre-reinforced soil body and with post-facing that has a full-height rigid concrete.

In this study, the structural safety of the bearing support was analysed by applying the vertical load (bearing design load) and horizontal load (horizontal force generated during an earthquake) using a precise three-dimensional numerical model. The results of stress and displacement of newly-poured concrete and welded rebars were confirmed numerically. Numerical results show that the increase in the horizontal force and the height of the beam causes the concrete cracking and the stress increase of the rebar connections due to the increase of the stress at the new concrete interface. Therefore, it was analyzed that the increase in the height of bearing support is directly related to the horizontal force and it is necessary to apply the bearing support height appropriate for the bearing support capacity. It was proposed that a method of setting the height of the bearing support suitable for the bearing capacity and determining the reinforcement by presenting the guideline with the correlation between the horizontal force acting on the bearing support and its height.

Since experimental evaluation of underground RC structures considering interaction with surrounding soil medium is quite difficult to be simulated, the evaluation for the underground RC structures using an analytical method can be applied very usefully. For underground structures interacted with surrounding soils, it is important to consider path-dependent RC constitutive model, soil constitutive model, and interface model between structure and soil, simultaneously. In this paper, an elastoplastic interface model which consider thickness of interface is proposed and applied for the analysis considering the interaction. Failure mechanism of underground RC box of two story and two box subway station under seismic action is obtained and the effects of ductility of intermediate column to entire underground RC system are investigated through analysis.
