  • 국내 통신판매 시장에 TV홈쇼핑이라는 새로운 유통형태가 등장한지 8년이 지났다. 95년 케이블TV와 함께 출범한 홈쇼핑은 그 당시 30억원 규모에 불과하였다. 그러나 7년이 지난 2002년을 기준으로 무려 4조원이 넘는 규모를 자랑하고 있다. 이렇게 고도화된 정보기술을 바탕으로 고속성장을 하고 있는 홈쇼핑은 유통시장의 새로운 업태로 자리매김하였다. 이러한 상황에서 국내 홈쇼핑 업계를 이끌어가고 있는 LG홈쇼핑 사례를 통해서 TV 홈쇼핑과 같은 무점포 유통시장에서 경쟁우위(competitive advantage)를 확보하도록 하는 핵심 성공요인(key success factor)이 무엇인지 알아보고, 이를 통해서 중요한 전략적 시사점을 찾을 수 있을 것이다.

소비자의 라이프스타일과 케이블TV 홈쇼핑 의류제품에 관한 연구 (A Study on CATV Home Shopping of Apparel and Life Style)

  • The purpose of this was to classify consumer groups according to the life styles and analyze buying intention and evaluation criteria of apparel product, opinion to 4p\`s aspect among consumer groups. And it was to clarify relationships between the experience of CATV home shopping and buying intention and evaluation criteria of apparel product, opinion to 4p\`s aspect. The subjects of this study were 270 women living in Chonbuk and Chonnam regardless their experience in CATV home shopping. For data analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, t-test, factor analysis were conducted. The results were as follows; First, the type of life style were classified into the following subdivisions: products confirmed type, price-quality regarded type, time regarded type, new product regarded type. Second, the significant differences among the classified life style groups were found in buying intention, evaluation criteria of apparel product, and opinion to 4p\`s aspect. Third, there were significant differences in buying intention, evaluation criteria of apparel product, and opinion to 4p\`s aspect according to TV home shopping experience.

  • 국내 케이블TV는 이날로그방송 뿐만 아니라 디지털방송, 주문형 비디오, 초고속 인터넷, 양방향 서비스, 인터넷 전화 등의 다양한 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 하지만 종편, 보도, 홈쇼핑 등의 신규 채널 증가와 방송 통신 융합에 따른 다양한 양방향 서비스 도입, 시속적인 HD채널 확대 등으로 헌재 사용 가능한 주파수가 매우 부족한 상황으로 3DTV, UHDTV, 인터넷 기반방송 등의 차세대 방송 서비스 제공을 위한 주파수 확보 방안 마련 이 매우 시급하게 필요한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 국내 케이블TV의 주파수 이용 현황 및 신규 주파수 수요 전망을 예측하고 다양한 효율적인 주파수 해결 방법을 모색하고 단계적으로 해결 방법을 적용하여 주파수를 확보하는 효율적인 주파수 이용방안에 대해서 기술하였다.

쇼핑태도특성이 CATV홈쇼핑을 이용한 의복구매태도에 미치는 영향 (The effect of Shopping Attitude Characteristics on Clothing Purchase Attitudes Utilized to CATV Home Shopping)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify consumer groups according to shopping attitude and analyze buying intention and evaluation criteria of apparel product, opinion to CATV home shopping among consumer groups. The subjects of this study were 270 women living in Chonbuk and Chonnam regardless their experiene in CATV home shopping. For data analysis frequency, percentage, mean,1-test, factor analysis, Cluster Analysis, Duncan Multiple Range test, were conducted. The results were as follows; First, the type of shopping attitude were classified into the following subdivisions: merchandise assortment oriented type, adventure oriented type, indifferent type, economy oriented group, recreational oriented group. Second, shopping attitude were shown to have the significant differences according to education, the structure of family, working in double hamess. Third, the significant differences among the classified shopping attitude groups were found in buying intention, evaluation criteria of apparel product, and opinion to CATV home shopping.

케이블TV 8VSB 전환이 가입자 유지 및 소비자 후생에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Impact of Cable TV 8VSB Conversion on Subscriber Retention and Consumer Welfare)

  • 본 연구에서는 8VSB가 도입된 후 케이블TV 가입자 수와 케이블 TV 사업자의 수익에 미친 영향을 살펴보고, 디지털방송 시청권 확대 및 시청자 복지에 준 영향을 알아보았다. 이를 위해 케이블TV 사업자의 아날로그 및 8VSB 상품 가입자 수 및 수익의 추이와 사업자별로 제공되는 채널 수의 변화를 토대로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 8VSB 전환을 통해 케이블 사업자의 아날로그 가입자 및 디지털 가입자 이탈이 늦춰지고 있으며, VOD 시청료와 홈쇼핑 송출 수수료 수익이 영업 이익에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 8VSB 가입자는 동일한 요금으로 더 많은 채널들을 깨끗한 화질로 시청할 수 있는 계기가 되었고 PP도 더 많은 고객들에게 프로그램을 제공할 수 있게 되었다. 방송환경의 변화에 따른 정부의 규제 완화로 인해 유료방송의 디지털 전환이 족진되고 시청자 후생이 증진되었다.

케이블TV 홈쇼핑 시청자의 의복 구매행동 (Apparel Purchasing Behavior of Cable TV Home-Shopping Viewers)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify characteristics and consumer attitude on purchasing apparel of Cable TV home-shopping viewer: A questionnaire was developed to measure watching attributes, consumers' attitude and actual purchasing condition of Cable TV home shopping, and demographic variables. The questionnaire was administered to 277 adult, and the data were analyzed by using frequency; crosstab, t-test, ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows: 1. main view time were 3~5 p.m. 11 p.m, 10~12 a.m. home shopping through Cable Tv. Women's main terms were afternoon, whereas men's main terms were night. Chiefly view program was about apparel and fashion items. The reason why they watched the home-shopping channel was to purchase more cheaper items. 2. Favor about Cable TV home-shopping was relatively affirmative, but purchasing intention through home-shopping was still negative. But affirmative response was gradually increasing a few years ago. 3. Purchasing experience through Cable TV home shopping was 61.0% and clothing purchaser within recently 6 months was 28.5% of total sample. Withspreading Cable TV widely; Cable TV home shopper was gradually increasing. Heavy purchasing items through Cable TV home-shopping were under-wear; muffler, shawl, because those items are standardized in size and style. When home shopping user made purchasing decision, the most significant factors were color; and size (fit), price in order of importance.

케이블TV 홈쇼핑을 통한 의복구매시 소비자 반응과 추구이점 및 위험지각 (Consumers' Reaction, Perceives Benefits and Risk When Purchasing Apparel through Cable TV Home-Shopping)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify characteristics and consumer attitude on purchasing apparel through Cable TV home-shopping. The questionnaire was administered to 4y5 May through September in 1996 and the data were analyzed by using frequency, factor analysis, crosstab, 1-test, ANOVA, MANOVA, scheffe with utilizing SPSS/PC+ The results of this study were as follows: 1. The most favorite media in purchasing apparel through home-shopping was Cable TV in all over ages except 50's. Women showed Cable TV the most interested, whereas men showed printed media and computer on-line shopping as home shopping media. 2. Home-shopping favor in region' was higher than that of Seoul. In the degree of favor, college students showed the highest, followed by part time employees, housewives and full time employees. Those who lived individual houses in other than Seoul area showed higher purchasing intention. 3. Sweater item was shown as the highest purchasing interested item and coat/business suit items were shown as lower among 10 different apparel items. 4. Five dimensions of Perceived benefits of apparel purchasing through Cable TV were derived by factor analysis such as variety of merchandise information, purchase convenience, efficiency, saving time, and convenience of physical inactivity. The convenience of physical inactivity showed the most important benefit through Cable TV home-shopping. Perceived risk of apparel purchasing through Cable TV was factor analyzed as merchandise related risk, size and appearance related risk, delivery related risk, TV watching related risk, and unplanned purchasing related risk. The sixte and appearance related risk was shown as the highest risk.
