Personalized media broadcasting services can produce their own broadcasting contents with a variety of creative themes if they have just a transmission platform and devices that can obtain videos and voices of producers without the existing expensive equipment. In this paper, we develop and implement a new broadcasting system by applying this service framework to events such as seminars or academic conferences. The devices can be installed at each conference rooms and the integrated system transmitted to users. They can watch via their multi-resolution screen, such as smart-phones, laptops, and tablet PCs. It has the advantage of being able to receive real-time streaming and VOD services as well as additional information related to the conference. It is expected to provide convenience by allowing attendees to access the information via their devices, thereby creating an impact on participation and the underlying technology for the future research.

This paper introduces the extension of SIP protocol for Multiparty Conference and the implementation of IP-based Multi-Conference. SIP protocol is a signaling protocol for initiating, modifying and terminating interactive sessions (voice, video, text, application). Multiparty conference system is implemented by RTP protocol for real time transmission and by H.323 for call setup. As H.323 fits into PSTN, it has some problems (call setup delay, hard implementation) for IP applications. IETF developed SIP protocol used for signaling in IP networks. However this SIP protocol doesn't explain signal protocol about multimedia conference, which is different from the existing H.323. So this paper describes the extension of SIP according to SIP Specification and case study for the multimedia conference.

한국소프트웨어진흥원 주최로 지난 2002년 12월 3일부터 4일까지 개최된 '글로벌 게임 컨퍼런스 2002'에서 발표된 미국 게임시장 마케팅 분석 보고서이다. The Yangkee Group의 시니어 애널리스트 마이클 굿맨이 발표한 자료를 번역 게재한다. 국내에서는 온라인 게임의 폭발적 성장에 묻혀 큰 영향력을 발휘하지 못하고 있는 콘솔 게임 분야이지만, 향후 '홈 엔터테이먼트'의 중심에 서게 될 '콘솔 게임' 시장에 대한 깊이 있는 분석이 주목할 만하다.
