최근 스마트폰을 이용하여 위치, 움직임, 주위 환경 정보 등과 같은 사용자의 상황을 인지하고, 인지한 컨텍스트를 기반으로 어플리케이션이 능동적으로 기능을 제공하기 위한 연구가 활발하다. 그러나 현재 켠텍스트 인지 모바일 어플케이션에서는 단일 사용자의 현재 컨텍스트에 국한되어 컨텍스트를 활용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안하는 컨텍스트 Visualizer에서는 포괄적인 컨텍스트 정보의 활용을 위해 컨텍스트 정보를 개인, 그룹별로 분류하여 보여준다. 또한, 과거, 현재, 미래 컨텍스트 정보를 고려하여 화면에 보여줌으로써 컨텍스트의 활용 범위를 향상시킨다. 이를 위하여 온 논문에서는 모바일 컨텍스트 종류를 설명하고, 이를 보여주기 위한 컨텍스트 Visualizer의 설계를 제시한다. 또한 설계 모델을 기반으로 구현한 프로토타입을 보여주고, Visualizer의 활용을 제시함으로써 연구의 실효성을 보여준다.

Even though context is the most important feature in context-aware systems, the existing requirements engineering cannot support methodology for elicitation and specification of contexts. In this paper, we propose a requirements elicitation method and a requirements specification method for context-aware systems. Our requirements elicitation method is a 6-stepped, incremental, and iterative process. At the beginning steps in the process, we identify the requirements for business logic. Afterwards, we gather the requirements for context logic, model contexts, and identify subsystems. For requirements specification, we suggest a context-aware use case diagram, a context diagram for context modeling, and a context-type-use-case-dependency diagram for the traceability of use cases on the change of context types. We also introduce a case study that we apply our approaches to a real system, and a qualitative evaluation of our approaches. Our study will help stakeholders to efficiently elicit requirements for context-aware systems and to specify them clearly.

A virtual enterprise (VE) can be mapped into a multi-agent system (MAS) that consists of various agents with specific role(s), communicating with each other to accomplish common goal(s). However, a MAS for enacting VE requires more advanced mechanism such as context that can guarantee autonomy and dynamism of VE members considering heterogeneity and complex structure of them. This paper is to suggest a context-based MAS as a platform for constructing and managing virtual enterprises. In the Context-based MAS a VE is a collection of Actor, Interaction (among Actors), Actor Context, and Interaction Context. It can raise the speed and correctness of decision-making and operation of VE enactment using context, i.e., information about the situation (e.g., goal, role, task, time, location, media) of Actors and Interactions, as well as simple data of their properties. The Context-based MAS for VE we proposed('VECoM') may consists of Context Ontology, Context Model, Context Analyzer, and Context Reasoner. The suggested approach and system is validated through an example where a VE tries to find a partner that could join co-development of new technology.

컨텍스트 인지 시스템의 중요성이 커지면서 이러한 시스템을 효과적으로 개발하기 위한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 컨텍스트 인지 시스템의 요구 사항을 파악하기 위해 컨텍스트 정보, 컨텍스트 서비스의 개념을 정의하고, 컨텍스트를 중심으로 시스템 요구 사항을 파악하는 방법을 소개한다.

유비쿼터스 시스템은 개인화 서비스를 위한 사용자 모델링이 필요하다. 사용자 모델링은 더 정확한 컨텍스트 모델을 만들기 위한 중요한 단계이다. 본 논문에서는 컨텍스트 모델을 기반으로 사용자에게 적당한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 방법을 연구한다. 이를 위해서 우리는 개념 의존(conceptual dependency)을 이용한 온톨로지 기반 컨텍스트 모델링 방법을 제안한다. 이 모델은 관찰된 사용자 행동을 모델링한다. 우리는 사용자 행동을 모델링하기 위해서 개념 의존 이론을 기반으로 컨텍스트 온톨로지를 설계한다. 컨텍스트 모델러는 사용자 행동을 모니터하고 행동을 표현하기 위해 온톨로지 인스턴스를 생성한다. 더 정확한 행동 표현을 위해 본 연구에서는 시간 개념(temporal concept)을 기반으로 시간 추론을 사용하여 컨텍스트 모델을 구축한다. 생성된 시간 컨텍스트 모델은 온톨로지 추론을 이용하여 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅을 위한 상위 컨텍스트의 추론이 가능하다.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에서 컨텍스트 인식을 위해서는 물리적 공간과 전자적 공간에서 사용자의 컨텍스트 정보가 수집되며, 정보 수집을 위해 모바일 장치들이 사용된다. 이러한 모바일 장치들을 사용함으로써 사용자의 컨텍스트 정보 수집이 용이하며, 실시간으로 컨텍스트 인식 과정을 거쳐 사용자에게 적합한 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 하지만 현재 P2P 모바일 컨텍스트 인식을 위한 표준화된 기반 구조가 존재하기 않기 때문에 P2P 모바일 서비스의 지원이 미흡하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 사용자의 물리적, 전자적 공간의 컨텍스트 정보를 속성별로 빠르게 분류한다. 그리고 서비스의 상관 관계를 분석하여 사용자에게 적합한 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 P2P 모바일 에이전트 기반의 사용자 컨텍스트 인식 및 서비스 처리 구조를 제안한다.

현재 제안된 프레임워크들은 컨텍스트 응용이 미들웨어에 너무 의존적인 형태로 인하여 컨텍스트 응용의 확장성을 저하시켜 적용범위를 제한다. 또한 컨텍스트 응용의 이동을 어렵게 하여 서비스를 제한적으로 제공하는 문제점이 나타난다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기위해 미들웨어와 컨텍스트 응용의 독립을 제안한 프레임워크를 사용한다. 하지만, 독립 프레임워크에서는 미들웨어와 컨텍스트 응용간 통신에 JMS(Java Message Service)를 사용함으로서 메시지 전송의 유실 및 여러 컨텍스트 응용 연결로인한 처리속도 저하의 문제점이 발생 한다. 이러한 통신상의 문제를 해결하기 위해서 socket통신을 사용한 컨텍스트 응용을 제안한다.

The context-aware retrieval method is one of the fundamental characteristics in ubiquitous computing. The essential aims of context-aware retrieval method are retrieving relevant information and delivering information quickly. We propose a new method that retrieves relevant information and delivers information quickly using characteristics of levelized contexts. We extract rules and recommendation information in the near future using context values and rules. Then we prefetch recommendation information in very near future using access score. Our method retrieves relevant information and deliver information quickly by storing only recommendation information to be needed in near future using the characteristics of levelized contexts.

정보의 홍수 속에서 살고 있는 사용자들은 좀 더 편리하게 정확한 서비스를 추천 받기를 원하고 있으며, 이러한 욕구들에 부응하여 추천시스템은 꾸준히 발전하고 있다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서는 사용자 환경과 사용자 자신의 컨텍스트 정보를 이용하여 추론하며, 그 결과를 사용자에게 서비스하고 있다. 그러나 실시간으로 획득된 컨텍스트 정보가 사용자에게 양질의 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 부족하거나 켄텍스트 정보를 모델링하는 방법에 문제가 있을 때에는 서비스의 질이 낮아질 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 모바일 환경에서 실시간으로 센서를 통하여 획들될 수 있는 컨텍스트 정보를 수집하고, 수집된 컨텍스트 정보는 하위수준의 정보를 상위수준의 정보로 모델링한다. 모델링된 컨텍스트 정보는 다시 정량화 단계 후, 웹 환경의 사용자 평가 정보와 결합하여 서비스를 추천한다. 이를 통하여 시스템은 유비쿼터스 환경에서 추천을 위한 양질의 컨텍스트 정보 부족 문제를 해결하였으며, 사용자에게 적합한 서비스를 제공할 수 있었다.

To provide intelligent service in mobile environment, it needs to estimate user's intention or requirement, through analyzing context information of end-users such as preference or behavior patterns. In this paper, we infer context information from uncertain log stored in mobile device. And we propose the inference method of end-user's behavior to match context information with service, and the proposed method is based on context-tree. We adopt bayesian probabilistic method to infer uncertain context information effectively, and the context-tree is constructed to utilize non-numerical context which is hard to handled with mathematical method. And we verify utility of proposed method by appling the method to intelligent phone book service.
