  • LPG차량이 연료충전중에 운전자 부주의로 오발진하는 경우 설비파손 방지를 위해 자동차와 디스펜서의 설치한 세이프티커플링의 주요 사고원인은 안전장치인 커플링이 분리되지 않아 발생하고 있으며, 사고로 설비파손으로 인한 부수적인 위험도가 크다 따라서 본 고에서는 세이프티커플링이 분리되지 않는 원인을 파악하기 위하여 노후시료의 분리하중, 열화물질의 분석 및 기구적 원인을 분석하였으며, 특히 커플링이 각도에 의해 분리가 되지 않는 조건을 각 부정합 손상으로 정의하고 안전장치로서 제 기능을 수행할 수 있는 방법에 대하여 고찰하였다.

  • 본 논문은 3상 인버터에 사용되는 전류제어기 모델링을 복소벡터를 이용하여 해석한다. 동기좌표계에서 다중 입 출력 구조로 구성되어 있는 제어기 모델링을 복소 벡터 표기를 이용하여 단일 입 출력 구조로 나타낼 수 있어 제어기 설계 및 해석이 간편하다는 장점이 있다. 동기좌표계에서 RL부하는 커플링 성분이 존재한다. 동기주파수 50Hz, 200Hz일 경우 일반적인 PI 전류제어기 특성을 확인했으며, 동기 주파수가 200Hz이며 커플링 성분인 L값이 ${\pm}30%$인 조건에서 디커플링 및 복소 벡터 전류제어기의 특성을 비교했다. 디커플링 제어기의 특성은 오버슈트가 발생하고 긴 정착시간이 걸리지만 복소 벡터 전류 제어기는 커플링 성분의 오차에 관계없이 안정적으로 제어 수행이 가능하다. 시스템의 파라미터의 불확실성에 대해 복소 벡터 전류제어기가 강인한 특성을 가진다.

  • Development of a curvic-coupling was presented in this paper. The research covers design, structural analysis, hot-temperature-torsion-test, curvic-coupling applied proto-type turbine disk manufacturing, and assembly test of a curvic-coupling rotor system for the turbopump application. Curvic-coupling was designed based on the Gleason-standard-tooth shape. The load capability of the designed curvic coupling was validated by the structural analysis and hot-temperature-torsion-test. A proto-type turbine disk which had adopted designed curvic-coupling was manufactured, assembled and tested to reveal that shaft-disk assembly run-outs in axial and radial directions were much smaller than the design requirements. The development will be finalized after spin test of shaft-disk assembly in near future.

  • The effect of unreactive coupling agent on mechanical and thermal properties of talc-filled polypropylene (PP) composites was studied. Stearic and oleic acids were introduced as coupling agents, and tensile, flexural, and impact strength, thermal stability and melting transition temperature were measured and analyzed according to the types and concentration of coupling agents. Tensile and flexural strength were enhanced by introduction of coupling agent and the maximum effect was observed at the concentration of 3 wt% of coupling agent. Tensile and flexural strength of PP treated with oleic acid were higher than those of PP treated with stearic acid. but impact strength vice-versa. The reasons for these results were postulated by analyzing morphologies of talc-filled PP observed by SEM.

  • In this paper, hydrogenated amorphous silicon(a-Si:H) grating coupler with distributed Bragg reflector(DBR) is proposed to achieve high-efficiency nanophotonic radiator for Light Detection and Ranging(LiDAR) application. The DBR reduces downward leakage of the optical field below the grating region. As a result, the far-field intensity shows about 1.4 times stronger, compared to the common grating coupler without the DBR.

  • In this study, practical design method of coupling beams is proposed. The member forces varies according to the location of the members and the members at 25%~40% of building height shows large member forces. The 100mm increase of wall thickness causes 3~4% variation of member forces and the 100MPa increase of concrete strength decrease approximately 3% of member forces. The required strength of coupling beams is twice the resistant strength and 80% reduction of coupling beam stiffness is necessary to fulfill the design criteria. The stiffness reduction of coupling beams is not necessary over the entire stories and the strength reduction range can be estimated considering design requirements.

Coupling Effects in Rainfall-induced Slope Stability Considering Hydro-mechanical Model (강우침투에 의한 비탈면 안정해의 수리-역학적 모델을 이용한 커플링 효과)

  • In this study, rainfall-induced slope stability and coupling effect are investigated using hydro-mechanical finite element model. This model is developed by formulating constitutive and coupled balance equations and is verified by comparing the numerical results with field matric suction. The homogeneous soil layer (soil column) and soil slope are modeled by this model, and the results of variation in matric suction, mean effective stress, porosity, displacement, factor of safety are compared with those of staggered analysis. It is found that the vertical and horizontal displacement from coupling analysis considering change in porosity is larger than that of staggered analysis. The displacement and matric suction from coupling analysis by rainfall infiltration can affect slope instability, which shows a progressive failure behavior. The lowest factor of safety is observed under short-term rainfall. This results confirm the fact that coupling analysis is needed to design soil slope under severe rain condition.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the strategy of representation of homosexuality in the mainstream media and its meaning. And it also concerns what would be the limit of representations of homosexuality and what would be the discourse these representations produce in the major terrestrial broadcasting. For this investigation, we conducted the analysis of , the mainstream television drama, focused on the gay couple characters and their representations of conflicts and resolutions by comparing with the two heterosexual couples to figure out the differentiated representation strategies of homosexuality. As results of the analysis, the representation of sociogenic cause of conflict is absent for gay couple while it was found in the case of one heterosexual couple. And gay couple is exposed to the interpersonal conflicts against their family members than heterosexual couples and described as victims. Lastly, gay couple was represented as needing mediators to solve their problems while heterosexual couple was represented as ensuring subjectivity for the resolutions of conflicts.

A 3 dB Coupler for Double Sided Printed Circuit Boards (이층 기판용 3 dB 커플러)

  • A 3 dB coupler has been designed and implemented using the most commonly used double-sided FR4 boards. The coupling and the bandwidth of the coupler are enhanced with the enlarged overlapped area of the coupler. Major design parameters are plotted as a design guide and the parameters are verified by simulation and measurement. The size of the manufactured coupler is $30{\times}14mm^2$. Its measured insertion loss and phase difference are 0.6 dB and $90.5^{\circ}$ at center frequency of 2.5 GHz, respectively. The operating frequency range is 1.72 GHz to 3.08 GHz for $3.6{\pm}0.5dB$ insertion loss. The coupler has the performance similar to that of conventional Lange coupler, and implementation of the coupler is easy and cheap with wide metal width and spacing and no additional wire bonding process.

Characteristics of a Wavelength-swept Laser with a Polygon-based Wavelength Scanning Filter (다면체 거울 스캐닝 파장 필터를 이용한 파장 훑음 레이저의 출력 특성)

  • We report the characterization of a wavelength-swept laser (WSL) using a polygon-based wavelength scanning filter and two semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs). The output intensity and scanning bandwidth of the WSL depend on the position of the two SOAs in the laser cavity and the coupling ratio of the output fiber coupler. The outputs of the WSL are characterized for coupling ratios of 10%, 30%, 50%, 70%, and 90% for the output fiber coupler. In the setup in which the output fiber coupler is located between the two SOAs, high output power and wide scanning bandwidth can be achieved with an optimized configuration. Using the optimized configuration of the WSL, the intensity increases with the coupling ratio. These results can be used to construct an optimized WSL using the polygon-based wavelength scanning filter.
