  • This manuscript aims to study on the strategy in conversion of media to movie as the second exit for consumption on the webtoon and it can strengthen the position of webtoon as the orignal work. This was just since webtoon had been adapted in other media. The characteristics of media in webtoon can be merit but is variable because the characteristics of media between movie and webtoon are entirely different. , webtoon had storytelling with impressive characters as the component which was proper to media of movie in comparison of the precedent works whose media had been converted from the original webtoon. In case of movies whose media had been converted from the original webtoon, it is inevitably to be dramatized by a director because it is converted to completely different media. The discriminative factors of storytelling are largely owed to the variation of the simple lined characters and structure of storytelling. These could make receivers understand easily when they watch the movie . And then, it had a role as the mechanism that receivers satisfied their expectation. Finally, the movie was succeed with these reasons.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare storytelling with TV entertainment programs to find out which elements of web entertainment affected the shift of viewers' interest, and to identify the characteristics of web entertainment storytelling. To this end, each of the web and TV entertainment programs were selected for storytelling analysis, and storytelling analyzed the contents of each item by dividing them into images, backgrounds, stories, and characters. As a result of the analysis, unlike TV programs, web entertainment storytelling allows viewers to immerse themselves in content through a composition that runs directly from the beginning to the crisis, and is characterized by a clear formation in a short video through a clear ending narrative. These research results hope that short-form web entertainment programs produced in the future will be able to identify strategies for viewers' immersion and storytelling strategies.

  • The research studies how features of games can be utilized and converted into storytelling elements by analyzing specific transmedia storytelling cases. For the research, was selected for subjects of analysis. From the analysis conducted, first, how game can be expanded and transformed into interactive animations was observed. Also, use of representative elements of the original game, concepts and basic settings in was seen. And lastly, implementation of transmedia storytelling strategies that constitute narratives based on character creation and connection between spaces was also observed.

  • Currently, the motion picture and game are leading the entertainment industry based on "One Source Multi Use" system, Games and films hold widely the subjects and stories in common, but we seldom find the successful cases, In each case of cinematizing game or making game of a film, the question is "Story Value" the essential of storytelling. This study cross analyzed Story Value of both cases of games based on the films and cinematized games, and propose an compatible Story Value between games and films.

  • In recent years, Sandbox Games have become more and more popular in players, and The Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim is the magnum opus of this type of game. However, the element of this game's attraction for players, which is why the game is fun to play is worth exploring in the territory of Game Design. In this paper, I will introduce the game The Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim in detail, listing some of the game's storyline 、 Game Mechanics and analyze them. Researching the advantage and disadvantage viewed from the angle of Game Interactive Design. Finally by analyzing a large number of interactive storytelling cases in the game and the game experience brought to players, I get some universal principles in the game interactive storytelling design level. The research transforms the players' subjective intuition factor into a clear interactive storytelling design pattern, which aims to provide qualitative design criteria and framework for game interactive storytelling design. Then find a universal technique of Game Interactive Design, that is how to design a game interaction system for a sandbox game that will make the game attractive to players. And this may provide some guiding significance for the later Game Interactive Designing.

  • 성공적인 축제를 위해서 가장 중요한 요건은 보다 많은 사람들의 참여를 이끌어야 함은 물론이고, 간접적인 참여보다는 직접적인 참여로 유도하는 것이라 할 수 있다. 이를 위해서는 축제의 배경과 행사의 내용 및 참여 방법 등을 적극적이고 효과적인 홍보할 수 있는 전략이 필요하나, 그동안의 제주 지역에서 열리는 축제에서는 단순한 유인물이나 웹기반의 제한적인 홍보 방식에서 머무른 실정이었다. 본 논문에서는 제주 서귀포 칠십리 축제의 적극적인 홍보를 위해 지정 캐릭터와 서복의 이야기를 활용한 스토리텔링을 기획 및 제작하였다. 이를 통해 이야기가 있는 축제로 승화하고, 축제의 정보를 재미있고 쉽게 전달하여 참가자의 흥미를 유도하며, 축제 테마의 이야기를 상품화로 연결할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한, 축제의 대상인 서귀포 칠십리 거리를 스토리텔링기반 테마의 거리로 조성하여 다양한 볼거리를 제공할 수 있도록 제시하였다.

  • 'Reboot' and 'Homage' are using as creative techniques in traditional storytelling media fields such as movies or dramas, but the possibility of expanding the transmedia story world has not yet been presented. This study was written to present a new concept of transmedia story world expansion type using the 'Reboot' and 'Homage' methods. 'Reboot' and 'Homage' are typical storytelling methods of K-POP idol groups that need to develop content. I selected , , and , which have built their story world, and examined both the narrative creation section and the marketing application section. The result of the study is as follows. First, EXO is an example of a reboot case. They set the original set as 'past' and insert the new storylines. Second, BTS is an example of a character's reboot. They built a story world by paralleling 'Idol BTS' and 'Character BTS'. Third, Wanna One is an example of the original story world's homage. They reorganize the story world of and attracting the attention of the existing audience. Fourth, BTS is an example of other media homage which reinterprets the meaning of BTS characters and story world by using the meaning of classic works.

  • Game is the latest type of Gesamtkunstwerk encompassing humanistic and engineering creativity. Nevertheless, Korea's game industry faces a crisis. The purpose of this study is to consider positive emotion-inducing effects as a way to deal with it. Among others, storytelling of , one of the most representative MMORPG games in the world, was selected for the study on various positive emotion-inducing effects. In the story of , the view of the world, characters and incidents are vital to the game and the study is focused on their emotion-inducing effects among the users based on actual examples. As a result, it was confirmed that the positive emotion-inducing storytelling would provide a possibility to reduce negative sentiment towards games, address crisis Korea's game industry faces, and interact with gamers in a positive direction.

  • 애니메이션 영웅 캐릭터는 캐릭터의 한 카테고리로서 캐릭터 특유의 특징과 함께 전통적 이데올로기를 암묵적으로 전달하고 있다. 이들 애니메이션 영웅이 전달하는 전통적 메시지는 문화적 개성에 대한 심벌을 재해석하여 관객들에게 전통문화가 거부감없이 쉽게 받아들여지도록 하는 것이다. 애니메이션 <백사(White Snake, 2019)>는 중국에서 잘 알려진 백소정과 허선의 사랑이야기를 소재로 한것으로서 전통사상과 전통의상을 살리면서도 스토리텔링과 이미지 컨셉, 애니메이팅등의 시각적 요소들을 글로벌한 공감대를 얻을 수 있도록 노력한 흔적들을 보여주고 있다. 본문에서는 동양 애니메이션에서의 히어로 캐릭터와 디즈니 캐릭터 간의 차이점과 그 가치를 애니메이션<백사>를 통해 분석해보고 이를 통해 애니메이션 창작에 미치는 영향과 역할을 도출해보려 하였다.
