The Effect of Convergence Education based on Reading and Robot SW Education for Improving Computational Thinking (컴퓨팅 사고력 향상을 위한 독서와 로봇SW교육 기반 융합교육의 효과)

  • The 2015 revised curriculum aims to cultivate creative convergence talent. In this regard, SW education needs to study various convergence education methods to enhance computational thinking. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of SW convergence education centered on reading education and robot utilization education to improve computing thinking ability. For this purpose, SW education teaching and learning was designed by combining SW education using card coding-based robots with reading education based on interactive works and reading on the whole work. As a result, the convergence education between reading and SW improved all three areas of the concept, practice, and perspective of computational thinking ability and increased the learner's satisfaction.

  • 일반적인 비 공유 저장장치를 가진 시스템에서는 특정 컨텐츠에 대한 편향된(skewed) 요청 문제를 피할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 비 공유 저장장치 모델로 설계/구현된 클러스터 기반의 시트리밍 서버에서 사용자의 편향된 컨텐츠 요청에 대처할 수 있고 스트리밍 서비스 중인 서버 또는 NS 카드에 문제가 생기더라도 스트리밍 서비스가 중단되지 않도록 다중 스트리밍 방법인 MDC(Multiple Description Coding)를 적용한 스트리밍 전송방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 클러스터 시스템에서 단일 세션으로 스트리밍 서비스를 제공하는 것이 아니라 MDC 를 활용하여 다중 세션을 통한 스트리밍 서비스를 제공함으로써 모든 서버의 부하가 같아지고, 특정 서버에 문제가 발생하더라도 스트리밍 서비스가 끊어지지 않으면서 MDC 의 특성인 적응형 서비스도 가능하게 되는 장점이 있다.

  • Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem (ECC)은 작은 키 크기로 인하여 스마트카드, 센서 모트와 같은 메모리, 컴퓨팅 능력이 제약된 디바이스에서 사용하기에 적합하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 디바이스에서 타원 곡선 서명 알고리즘 (ECDSA) 검증(Verification)의 주된 계산인 멀티 스칼라 곱셈을(multi-scalar multiplication) 효율적으로 구현하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안 알고리즘은 어떠한 메모리 크기에서도 적용 가능할 뿐만 아니라 해당 메모리 크기에서 최적의 효율성을 제공한다. 또한 스칼라 리코딩 (Scalar receding) 과정이 table lookup을 사용하지 않고 on-the-fly 하게 진행되기 때문에 기존의 다른 알고리즘에 비하여 더욱 메모리를 절약할 수 있다. 실험을 통하여 제안 알고리즘의 성능을 메모리 사용량, 효율성 측면에서 분석한다.

  • MPEG-4는 이미지, 비디오. 오디오와 다양한 기하객체 및 텍스트객체 등 설러 가지 멀티미디어 데이터를 각 객체 단위로 합성하여 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 구성함으로써 멀티미디어 데이터에 대한 재사용성과 효율성을 높이며, 사용자와의 상호작용이 가능한 시청각 장면을 생성하고 전송을 가능하게 한다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에 대한 연구가 개발하게 전개되고 있는 이때, PC에서뿐만 아니라 언제 어디서나 가능한 모바일 환경에서 다양한 사용자 인터랙션에 중점을 두고 카드메일, 간단 게임 저작 등을 가능하게 함으로써 poA환경에서 전문적인 저작도구를 개발하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문은 poA환경에서 기하객체와 텍스트, 이미지 등의 객체들을 이용하여 MPEG-4 컨텐츠 저작을 위한 씬 트리를 생성하고 이에 대한 인코딩을 통하여 BIFS 파일 포맷을 형성하고 멀티플렉서를 통하여 MPEG-4 파일을 생성함으로써 PDA환경에서 직접적이고도 시각적인 저작이 가능한 MPEG-4 건텐츠 저작시스템을 제안하고 그 개발 결과를 보인다.

The Development and Application of Storytelling based Software Education Board Game (스토리텔링기반 소프트웨어교육 보드게임의 개발 및 적용)

  • Coding education for elementary school student spreads around the world. Game activity that children like is one of coding education methods. Among these, a board game is a tool where 3~4 children can participate together. This study developed a storytelling-based board game to help elementary school students understand Software education. The board game is composed of board, three types of command cards and dice. This study simultaneously surveyed and interviewed 57 fifth- and sixth-grade students at elementary school after playing the board game 4 times so as to analyze the usefulness of the developed software board game. In the results of study, most of elementary school students would be interested and participated in active. Elementary school students actually got to know algorithm easily through board game activity, and learned basic programming concepts such as sequence, condition, loop, variable and operation.

  • Digital DBS service using Korea Sat starts at Korea Telecom's Yong-in transmission site. Total 6 transmitting stations are needed. At each transmitting station, 4 TV programs are compressed and multiplexed using MPEG-2, modulated into IF, RF signals, then finally transmitted through antenna. At DBS transponder, received signal is down converted, amplified and re-transmitted to earth. At receiver, signal is received by 45cm dish antenna, then wanted program is selected, demultiplexed and decoded. Transmission performance of BER lOE-ll is implemented by using FEe coding and QPSK modulation. For pay TV management, conditional access system, smart card and modem are used.

  • A realization for digital multimedia receiving system using Conditional Access System is presented in this paper. The key word for descrambling is make from smart card and Conditional Access System, a Stabilization is grow up in the method. It is possible to decoding that of average 15 fame/second of H.264 video format and that 24Khz${\sim}$48Khz audio sample rate using dual processor that of high performance DSP and RISC. This system is evaluated correct descrambling procedure in test stream added that signed user data.

  • The randomization of scalar multiplication in ECC is one of the fundamental concepts in defense methods against side-channel attacks. This paper proposes a countermeasure against simple and differential power analysis attacks through randomizing the transformed m-ary method based on a random m-ary receding algorithm. The proposed method requires an additional computational load compared to the standard m-ary method, yet the power consumption is independent of the secret key. Accordingly, since computational tracks using random window width can resist against SPA and DPA, the proposed countermeasure can improve the security for smart cards.

  • Recently, software education has been emphasized as a key element of the fourth industrial revolution. Many universities are strengthening the software education for all students according to the needs of the times. The use of online content is an effective way to introduce SW education for all students. However, the provision of uniform online contents has limitations in that it does not consider individual characteristics(major, sw interest, comprehension, interests, etc.) of students. In this study, we propose a recommendation method that utilizes the directional similarity between contents in the boolean view history data environment. We propose a new item-based recommendation formula that uses the confidence value of association rule analysis as the similarity level and apply it to the data of domestic paid contents site. Experimental results show that the recommendation accuracy is improved than when using the traditional collaborative recommendation using cosine or jaccard for similarity measurements.

  • Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem (ECC) is suitable for resource-constrained devices such as smartcards, and sensor motes because of its short key size. This paper presents an efficient multi-scalar multiplication algorithm which is the main component of the verification procedure in Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA). The proposed algorithm can make use of a precomputed table of variable size and provides an optimal efficiency for that precomputed table. Furthermore, the given scalar is receded on-the-fly so that it can be merged with the main multiplication procedure. This can achieve more savings on memory than other receding algorithms. Through experiments, we have found that the optimal sizes of precomputed tables are 7 and 15 when uP+vQ is computed for u, v of 163 bits and 233 bits integers. This is shown by comparing the computation time taken by the proposed algorithm and other existing algorithms.
