Analysis of Levee Infiltration in Flood-time (홍수시 제방의 침투 해석에 대한 연구)

  • 이 연구는 제방의 침투 수리모형 실험의 자료를 이용해 안전도 평가 지표 선정을 위한 자료 제공하고 향후 수행할 침투 수치모의에 필요한 보정 및 검증 자료를 확보할 목적으로 수행하였다. 제방 축조 현장에서 구한 제체재료를 사용하여 실험실에 제방축소모형을 $14.5m{\times}0.6m{\times}1.6 m$의 수조 내부에 제작하였다. 제방 사면의 경사는 1:2, 제방 저면의 길이는 4.60 m, 제방 상부의 길이는 2.40 m, 제체의 높이는 0.55 m로 제작하였다. 모형제방은 제방축조 방법과 유사하게 다짐을 하기위해 흙을 쌓으면서 0.20 m 높이 마다 다짐을 실시하였다. 다짐방법은 고무망치를 이용한 층다짐을 하였다. 들밀도실험에 의한 제방모형의 건조단위중량과 다짐도는 각각 1.71g/cm3, 93%로 측정되었다. 홍수위 증가에 따른 비정상 상태의 침투수위 측정을 수행하였다. 수리모형실험은 약 8일 동안 수행하였다. 침윤선의 수두와 위압계별 수두는 상류쪽(제외지 사면)부터 증가하기 시작하며 하류쪽(제내지 사면)로 확장됨을 알 수 있으며, 실험 초기에는 상류쪽의 수두가 급격히 상승하지만, 점차 상승속도가 둔화되는 등의 일반적인 경향이 나타나고 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 실험시작 18시간 경과 후부터 제외지 사면 하단부에서 유출이 발생하였으며, 21시간 경과 후부터는 상류부의 수두가 안정되는 현상이 나타났다. 측정된 침투수위의 변화 양상은 향후 수치모형을 이용한 침투해석의 검보정 자료로 활용할 계획이다.

Spray Characteristics of Single and Double Liquid Jets in Crossflow (주류유동에서 단일 및 이중 수직분사 분무특성)

  • Spray characteristics of liquid jets in crossflow, which can be observed in the liquid jet injection system of a gas turbine or ramjet engine, were experimentally investigated. By measuring liquid jet penetration in the case of single orifice and double orifice injectors, the experimental formula for jet penetration was modified to consider penetration distances greater than that considered in a previous study. The changes in spray characteristics resulting from changes in the liquid jet and crossflow pressure, including SMD and jet disintegration, were carefully studied. Specifically, the jet penetration was measured for different injector shapes, and in the case of a double orifice injector, the penetration of the rear orifice jet was found to be greater by approximately 20% ($L_h$ = 4 mm) compared to that in the case of a single orifice injector because of the influence of the front orifice.

Numerical Study on Variation of Penetration Performance into Concrete by Penetrator Nose Shape (침투자의 노즈 형상에 따른 콘크리트 침투성능 변화에 관한 수치적 연구)

  • In order to destroy the hard target, it is essential to develop a penetration warhead with high penetration performance. To design a penetration warhead, this paper discusses the effect of nose shape factors such that nose shape, nose length, nose tip diameter, on the penetration performance of the penetrator. AUTODYN-2D has been used to conduct the computational analysis. The experimental result of Forrestal, and a simulation result have been compared to verify the reliability of computational analysis. Computational results show that the nose length have more influence on the penetration performance than the nose shape. Furthermore, simulation results show that the penetration performance can be improved by increasing the nose tip diameter to a specific value, when the nose length of the penetrator is uniform.

Evaluation on the Performance of Relief Wells Using Geosynthetics Blanket Length as a Parameter in an Agricultural Reservoir Embankment (농업용 저수지 제방에서 토목섬유 블랭킷의 길이에 따른 감압정의 성능 평가)

  • The performance of the relief wells installed for the purpose of controlling seepage of the dam embankment is affected by various parameters such as diameter, spacing, penetration rate, permeability coefficient of the ground, thickness of the foundation layer. Therefore, when the relief wells are adopted for the purpose of reducing seepage pressure, these parameters should be sufficiently reviewed to determine the installation specifications of the relief wells. This study evaluated the effect of the length of the geosynthetics blanket on the performance of the relief wells installed in the downstream part of the dam embankment with blankets in the upstream and downstream part of the dam embankment as countermeasure methods to control seepage of the dam embankment. In the relationship between the length of the upstream and downstream blanket and the discharge, the discharge of the relief wells decreases as the length of the upstream blanket increases, and on the other hand, the discharge of the relief wells decreases as the length of the downstream blanket increases. In the upper and lower blanket length-spacing relationship, as the length of the upstream blanket increases, the spacing of the relief wells increases and as the length of the downstream blanket increases, the spacing of the relief wells decreases. Therefore, when installing the relief wells in parallel with the blanket, it was found that increasing the length of the upstream blanket is more efficient than increasing the length of the downstream blanket in order to minimize the discharge of seepage discharge and to ensure economic feasibility by wider installation of the relief wells.

  • The purpose of salinity intrusion due to numerical simulation is analaysis for saline intrusion to the upstream channel in Nakdong River Estuary Barrage(NREB) to get enough fresh water. Conditions that occur salinity intrusion affect by tidal distribution at seas, so salinity concentration changes according to tidal phenomenon. Making this connection cleary can help preventing salinity intrusion. In this study, estimating salinity intrusion to the upstream channel in NREB using EOMSED model, we reexamine NREB's existence. Comparison is also made with observing data. In result, when inflow discharges at $75m^3/s$ is more similar with respect to observing data than $130m^3/s$ at ECOMSED model. Thus, estimations are more precise at little discharges than lots of discharges.

  • 새로 조성된 간척지 갯벌이 건조 수축하면 지반 침하와 더불어 토양 내로의 마이크로파의 침투 깊이가 증가한다 따라서 인공위성 DInSAR를 이용하여 지반 침하량을 구하고자 할 때, 건조 시 동시에 발생하는 마이크로파의 개펄 침투 현상을 규명하여 보정해 주어야 한다. 이를 위하여 다편광 산란계(Polarimetric Scatterometer)를 구성하여 건조 개펄에 대한 실내실험을 실시하였다. PolScat의 구성은 5.0-5.6GHz 대역의 dual-polarization square horn antenna를 사용하였으며 Agilent 8753ES 벡터 네트워크 분석기를 사용하였다. 길이 2m, 폭 2m, 높이 20cm의 개펄 샘플을 약 6주 동안 실내에서 건조시켜 위상을 측정한 결과 지반 침하와 함께 약 4mm의 마이크로파 투과현상이 발견되었다. 따라서 인공위성 DInSAR 지반침하량 계산에 있어서 반드시 토양 수분에 따른 마이크로파의 토양 침투 깊이를 보정해 주어야 함이 밝혀졌다.

  • This paper presents the reduction characteristics of electromagnetic penetration through a slit in conducting screen by loaded plate. The FDTD method is used in theoretical analysis. And the characteristics of penetrated electric fields are calculated in terms of length, width, shape, position, and height of the loaded plate to find out how the geometry of plate influences the reduction characteristics of the electromagnetic penetration and shielding effectiveness. The results show that the characteristics of penetrated electric field and shielding effectiveness depend on the geometry of loaded plate. In particular, the optimal geometry of loaded plate which minimize penetrated electric field are verified.

  • 본 실험은 한국산 주요 침엽수인 소나무, 잣나무, 리기다소나무, 낙엽송의 safranine의 침투도를 실험하였다. 진공, 압력 및 safranine의 침투시간을 각각 다르게 하여 수종별 침투도를 측정하였다. 실험 결과 진공조건의 변화에 따른 침투도 변이는 크게 나타나지 않았고, 압력조건의 차이에 의한 침투도는 다르게 나타났다. 목재의 방향별 침투도를 고찰한 길과 축방향, 방사방향, 접선 방향의 순서로 침투도가 높았다. 변재와 심재의 사이의 침투성을 고찰 한 결과 변재가 심재보다 쉽게 침투 되었다. 수종별 침투성을 고찰한 결과 소나무가 가장 우수했다.
