The Effects of Surface Coating Material for Aluminum Form on Surface Quality of the Concrete (알루미늄 거푸집 표면코팅재가 콘크리트 표면품질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is to analyze the effects of aluminum form surface coating material on surface quality of concrete. When observing the surface quality of concrete affected by the change of aluminum form surface coating material, in general, as the number of use of the coating material increased, the surface quality of concrete decreased and good surface quality was shown in plywood (hereinafter PW). For epoxy (hereinafter EP) resin, when applying form remover, good surface quality was shown. For the surface roughness of concrete by the application form oil of form remover and the number of use of the coating material, as the number of use increased, highest surface roughness value was shown which meant the leveling was bad, but the surface roughness value in EP and PW was the lowest. Just for EP, when applying form remover, surface roughness value was low. For the number of void for concrete by the application of form remover and the number of use of the coating material, In general, the number of void which was generated when applying form oil the remover decreased.

폐탄광 복원에 대향 조사, 평가 및 복구 설계

  • 국내의 휴ㆍ폐탄광 수는 2002년 현재 230여 개에 이르고 있다. 이에 따라 갱도, 폐석적치장 및 광산 시설물들은 방치상태로 남게 되며 광해의 주요인자가 되고 있다. 광해현상은 이들로부터 유출되는 산성광산배수(Acid Mine Drainage : AMD), 폐석 및 오염토양의 유실 및 하류부 퇴적, 채굴적 상부 및 인접지역의 지반침하 등이다. AMD는 pH가 6.0 미만이고 총산도(total acidity)가 총알카리도(total alkalinity)를 초과하는 물로서 노천광이 가행되었던 지역, 가행중이거나 휴광 또는 폐광된 광산에서 유출된다. 또한 도로사면 절개부나 지하철 터널에서도 황철석(pyrite)이나 백철석(marcasite)등을 함유하는 층이 공기 중에 노출되면 산성수가 침출되어 나오기도 한다. AMD에 의한 하천수의 오염이 매우 극심하여 때로는 미생물마저도 그 속에 살 수 없게 된다. AMD에 의해 오염된 하천수의 오염범위는 산성수의 양, 농도, 하천에 유입되는 산성수의 분포, 상류에서 흘러드는 오염되지 않은 물의 양, 지류에서 유입되는 물의 양에 따라 좌우된다. AMD 오염이 문제시되고 있는 나라는 미국을 포함하여 호주, 일본, 한국, 러시아, 남아연방 등이다. AMD를 처리하기 위해 여러 기술이 도입 적용되었으며 일부 기술들은 현재도 사용되고 있다. 각 기술마다 일장일단이 있으므로 경비의 과다, 유지 및 관리에 대한 지속성 여부, 공간의 확보 여부, 지역적 특수성에 맞춰 가장 적합한 방법을 채택하여야 하며 꾸준히 채택한 기술의 개량 및 새로운 기술의 첨가가 요구되고 있다. 따라서, AMD 오염지대에 대해 획일적으로 같은 처리방법을 채택하여 사용하는 것보다 각 지역 또는 AMD가 유출되어 나오는 광산폐기물의 특성 등을 고려하여 거기에 맞는 기술들을 복합적으로 또는 단독으로 사용하되 처리방법 채택 시 신중을 기할 것이 요망된다. 우리나라에서도 폐탄광을 복원하기 위하여 여러 시도가 있었으나 시간적, 경제적으로 충분히 고려하지 않아 시행착오을 범하고 있다. 따라서, 복원 대상광산에 대한 실제적인 조사, 평가 및 복구설계의 과정을 예로 들어 적절한 처리과정을 토의하고자 한다.

The Geomorphic Characteristics of Bulguksa-region and the Earthquake Resistant Structure of the Bulguksa Temple (불국사 지역의 지형특성과 불국사의 내진 구조)

  • Some reverse fault lines are passing through the alluvial fans and west hill slope of Bulguksa mountains including Mt. Toham in the directions of N-S and NW-SE. The study area is known as relatively unstable, because of active faults. Assuming on the record of Samguksagi about earthquakes, the architects in the construction of the Bulguksa Temple should have recognized the possibility of breakdown from the earthquakes and the need for an unique structure against at that time. Against earthquakes, Grengee technique, a stonework construction technique following wooden one and use of Chuduseok(Dongtleseok or Chumchaseok) were applied for the construction of the Bulguksa Temple. By designing the foundation stone with hole, a structure is prevented from modification that pillars secede from a foundation stone in spite of horizontal load of earthquake while wood construction is strong frame at earthquake. The Bulguksa Temple is usually evaluated to be a beautiful architecture from the appearances like the weight balanced structure with unique decoration. Impressive architectures are beautiful in balance and harmony coming from the important and specific rolls in its own way by each part of whole structure. This beauty comes from the science.

A Development of an Integrated Inventory Managing System for Steel-Plates (강재 통합 관리 시스템 개발)

  • As one of the largest shipbuilding company in the world, STX Offshore & Shipbuilding currently developed an inventory managing system for steel-plates, which is applied to their steel stock yard. In a traditional way to manage steel yard, almost every work has been done by manually. The manual steel-plate piling process caused some problems such as process delay due to piling errors and the uncertainty of work plan due to lack of information. To solve these problems, we developed an integrated inventory managing system based on real-time crane tracking system which automatically updates steel-plates' piling status. We built the integrated steel-plate database, developed several programs including steel-plate input program, real-time steel-plate monitoring program and steel-yard management program, and constructed hardware system for tracking magnetic cranes. As a result, a supervisor of steel-yard can manage the inventory of steel-plates efficiently and furthermore plan an efficient piling schedule and crane working schedule.

  • Unused land is a new load of building and a linear improvement, expanding the loss of function of the road abandoned road construction sites, as well as existing roads is possible additional advantage. However, some space is overcharge checkpoints, materials yard, make this vehicle utilization and maintenance of the unfavorable situation, as vehicle rest area but unused land most of the space required for the use of the system management plan. We are analyzed the location, topographical features, cultural property and in the space which is geospatail open platform set up to classify the type of unused land. Depending on the type of unused land using the geospatial open platform performs a 3D model and a proposed model development and application taking into account the environment and landscape. To derive the Gangwon development Plan and design of future route unused land was becoming helps you make better use of unused land.

Alteration of masculinity Types Shown in Melodramas -From 1992 to 2012- (멜로드라마에 나타난 남성상 유형의 변화 (1992년부터 2012년까지))

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the masculinity types of the male lead appearing in melodrama genre TV series with 2005 as the borderline when we perceived the change of female types in TV drama series. To attain the goal, the paper analyzed the change of the male lead in 74 melodrama series that ranked high from 1992 till 2012 in terms of the ratings. As a result, from 2005, the types of masculinity of the male lead changed significantly. The followings deal with the details of the change: first, about the age of the male lead, those in the 30's or older increased. Second, unmarried men increased. Third, more of them saw men and women equally, and masculinity types setting no role division for men and women increased. Fourth, masculinity types of having more concern over their appearance increased. Fifth, masculinity types of relying on others when a problem occurred increased. Sixth, in relationship with others, passive masculinity types increased. There was no change in men's jobs, economic level, personality, or sexual consciousness. This study result shows that from 2005, stereotyped masculinity types shown in advanced research have disappeared a lot, and the current men image tends to show both male and female features.

Environmental Pollution and Reclamation in the Abandoned Mines in Korea (국내 폐 광산 환경오염 실태 및 처리 현황)

  • There are 334 coal mines and about 900 metal mines abandoned. The environmental problems such as acid mine drainage from adits etc. and the subsidence has occurred in the abandoned mines. In addition, soil has been contaminated by tailings. According to analysis of mine drainages, some of them from adits in the abandoned coal and metallic mines were acidic and polluted by heavy metals. Especially, water quality of coal mine drainages were different by areas. Treatment of mine drainage by conventional chemical treatment has the drawback because the operating cost is very expensive. The treatment system used in mine drainage is the natural treatment system such as anoxic limestone drain in adits and the constructed wetland. The method of reclamation for abandoned waste rocks and tailings impoundments are mainly landfilling.

Properties of Physical and Surface Glossing of Exposed Concrete with the Contents of Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (고로슬래그 미분말의 치환율 변화에 따른 노출 콘크리트의 물리 및 표면광택 특성)

  • This paper is Intended to investigate physical properties and surface glossing of exposed concrete incorporating granulated blast furnace slag(BS). According to test results there is no remarkable variations in fluidity and air content with increase of BS, but unit weight shows decline tendency Compressive strength at later age gains considerably due to potential hydraulicity reaction of BS. It shows that drying shrinkage increases. It is found that low W/B, surface coating and high BS content lead to favorable effects on the surface glossing of exposed concrete because of filling effects on the voids of the concrete. It is improved by about 7 % with increase every 10 % of BS content. The effects of form pannel kinds on the improvement of surface glossing are in order for acryl, fancy, steel and wood.

Investigating the Status of Mine Hazards in North Korea Using Satellite Pictures (위성사진을 활용한 북한 지역 광산의 광해 현황 연구)

  • Recently, the possibility of promoting inter-Korean economic cooperation is increasing because the tension between South and North Korea is being reduced. Consequently, the interest in North Korea's mine development projects is growing as one of the aspects of inter-Korean economic cooperation. In the promotion of cooperation in mining development, mine hazard risk management should be considered. However, there is a lack of information pertaining to mine hazards in North Korea. To this end, this study was performed to determine the status of mining-related hazards in 12 mines in North Korea by using the image analysis feature of Google Earth. From the results obtained, we observed some mining-related hazards such as tailing dam failures, yellow boy phenomenon, and land subsidence.

  • 우리나라의 댐저수지는 홍수기에 상류로부터 다량의 부유물이 폐기물 등과 함께 일시에 유입되어 미관을 해치거나 상수원 수질을 악화시키는 등의 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이에 부유물의 하류확산을 방지하고 수거와 처리를 효율적으로 하기 위한 부유물 차단망이 설치되어 운영 중이다. 부유물 차단망의 설치위치는 저수지내의 흐름을 고려하여 부유물을 가장 효과적으로 차단할 수 있는 지점을 선정하여야 하나, 저수지 흐름을 고려하지 않고 설치될 경우 차단망이 빈번하게 훼손되거나 부유물이 적절하게 포집되지 못한 채 상류에 흩어지는 결과를 초래하기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 대형저수지인 소양댐과 신규 중소규모 댐인 영주댐의 부유물 차단망 최적 설치위치를 선정하기 위하여 3차원 모형을 이용하여 다양한 조건에서의 저수지내 흐름분포와 수리적 특성을 검토하였다. 적용모형은 3차원 수리동력학 모형인 ELCOM 모형을 적용하였으며, 홍수기 표면 유속장 분포, 수직수온분포 및 밀도류 발생지점 등을 종합적으로 분석하여 최적 설치지점을 검토하였다. 시뮬레이션 조건은 200년 빈도 홍수 유입에 대해 초기 수위에 따른 영향을 고려하기 위하여 갈수위, 풍수위 등으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 소양댐의 경우 기존 설치위치에서는 plunging point가 설치지점보다 하류에 위치하여 부유물 포집 기능에는 이상이 없으나 최대유속이 2 m/s를 초과하는 것으로 나타나 안정적 운영을 위하여 이전 설치하는 것이 적합할 것으로 판단되었다. 또한 신규댐인 영주댐에서는 다양한 시나리오에 대하여 분석한 결과 2개 지점이 적합한 것으로 분석되어 적치장 위치 등을 종합적으로 고려하여 최적위치를 선정하도록 하였다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 부유물 차단망 설치설계기준 등에 반영되어 과학적인 댐 운영관리에 활용될 것으로 판단되며, 향후 보다 안정적인 시설물 관리에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
