To report the effect of an Korean medical treatment, including Space spinal conduction exercise and manipulation treatment for a patient suffering with spondylolisthesis. Three patients were treated by oriental medical treatment including acupuncture, oriental medicine, Space spinal conduction exercise and manipulation treatment and the results were assessed with a numerical rating scale (NRS), walking condition, and back pain, sciatica. After treatment, the NRS changed from 8~9 to 1~2 and walking condition get better. The patient's back pain and sciatica have improved. In this study, oriental medical treatment, including Space spinal conduction exercise and manipulation treatment was an effective treatment for patients with spondylolisthesis. However, additional studies are needed, as are more and observations of these patients.

This study was clinically performed with the 73 outpatients of urticaria who had visited the Dept. of Dermartology, Oriental Medical Hospital, Dong-eui University from January 1st 2000 to June 30th 2003. They have all taken the oriental herb medicine as Sungmagalguntanggamibang(SGT, 升麻葛根湯加味方) more than 1 time. Urticaria is a common disease and a well known reaction pattern of the skin charaterized by erythema, wheals and edema, that is the results of various causes. Urticaria is classified into acute or chronic type. The etilogy of acute uricaria has been determined in many cases, but the cause of chronic urticaria has been determined in 10$\%$ to 20$\%$ of cases. Character of chronic type urticaria is recurrent pruritus and erythematous skin disease by stimulating factor. Through checking up the present patient state, we verified the effect of SGT in various ways. The results were summarized as follows; 1. An increase of taking a medicine(SGT) and attending a hospital in number let down repeated urticaria occurence. 2. SGT is more effective when the symptoms with the severe pruritic wheals are spread on the whole body in daily occurrence. 3. In urticaria treatment method, gradually reducing a western medicine and going side by side SGT, that is good at symptoms improvement. 4. Etiology of urticaria is classified into intestine-stomach accumulated heat by indigestion(食滯腸胃積熱), wind-moisture(風濕), wind-heat(風熱) etc. The SGT is available in the order of frequency of use.

절식요법은 일정기간 섭취 칼로리를 제한하여 질병을 치료하는 방법이다. 600kcal이하로 칼로리를 제한하는 절식기에는 공복감, 속쓰림, 두통, 탈모 등의 여러 가지 증상들이 발생할 수 있으며, 길버트 증후군 환자에서는 특별한 간기능의 이상이나 용혈 없이 비포합 빌리루빈의 증가로 인한 황달이 나타날 수 있다. 이 증례보고서에서는 절식요법의 절식기에 황달이 발생한 길버트 증후군 환자 1례를 경험하여 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하였다.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of muscle energy techniques with acupuncture therapy on spasmodic torticollis Methods : The patients were diagnosed as spasmodic torticollis and treated with muscle energy techniques and acupuncture therapy and so on. We have measured cervical range of motion and visual analogue scale score before and after treatment. Results : After treatments, spasmodic torticollis was improved. Cervical range of motion and visual analogue scale score were recovered by muscle energy techniques and acupuncture therapy. Conclusions : We concluded that muscle energy techniques and acupuncture therapy was effective treatment on spasmodic torticollis.

결합조직형성 소원형세포 종양(desmoplastic small round cell tumor)은 최근에 발생 빈도가 증가하는 추세인 희귀한 종양으로 주로 복강 내에서 발생하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 저자들은 15세 여자 화자의 종격동에 발생한 결합조직형성 소원형세포 종양에 대해 적극적인 항암화학요법, 수술, 방사선치료 및 자가 말초혈 조혈모세포 이식 등의 복합요법으로 만족스러운 결과를 얻었기에 이를 국내 최초로 보고하고자 한다.

Erysipelas is a inflammatory disease that characterized by erythrism, heat sensation, swelling, pain and tenderness. In initial invasion chilling sense and hyperthermia occur suddenly and local skin turn into red like coating with paints. it spreads promptly and the boundary is manifest. the position of invasion is not settled and it recur over again. Compared with western medicine it is similar to the inflammation caused by group A p-hemolytic streptococcus. If a proper care for erysipelas is not done in the time of expiration. Inflammation diffuse on circumferential skin and Iymphnode due to the diffusion of pathogene. In serious case. it can lead to death by ichoremia. We have four healing cases using 'younkyopaedok-san' that obtain good results and report it.

안토시아닌 유도체는 다수의 식물에서 적색, 보라색 및 청색을 나타내는 천연 화합물의 중요한 성분이다. 안토시아닌 분자는 2-페닐 벤조피릴리움 염의 폴리메톡시 유도체이다. 안토시아닌의 유익한 특성에도 불구하고 다양한 질병을 예방하거나 치료하는 효과는 생체 이용률에 달려 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 안토시안 유도체의 전기적 특성을 알아보기 위해 HyperChem8.0의 PM3 방법을 이용하여 안토시아닌 유도체의 총 에너지, 밴드갭, 정전포텐셜, 알짜 전하량을 계산하여 유도체의 전기화학적 특성을 조사 하였다.

Objectives The purpose of this review is to analyze trends of domestic research in Korean medicine treatment for frozen shoulder. Methods Among the clinical papers published from January 1, 2000 to August 2023, papers that treated frozen shoulders with Korean medicine treatment were searched through five domestic databases (Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System, KMbase, Research Information Sharing Service, Science ON, Korean studies Information Service System). Results Finally, 12 studies were included. Three studies were clinical trials and 9 were observational studies. The most commonly used treatment was acupuncture. Range of movement (range of motion) and visual analogue scale were frequently used as measurement methods. Studies with significant effects were 66.6% in controlled trials and 100% in studies without control group. Conclusions In this study, literature on Korean medicine treatment for frozen shoulder was reviewed. As a result of the review, Korean medicine treatment for frozen shoulder showed significant results. However, there have been several limitations and suggest that more research and higher levels of research on Korean medicine treatment of frozen shoulder need to be conducted.

Objectives The objective of this study was to investigate clinical the trends of Korean medicine treatments for iliopsoas muscle. Methods 6 Korean and foreign on-line databases were researched for articles discussing Korean medicine treatments for iliopsoas muscle. The included studies were classified according to the published years, study designs, techniques of treatment and evaluation method. Results The total number of studies selected was 12, which included 8 case reports, 2 randomized controlled trials (RCT), and 2 non-RCT. In these studies, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, Chuna, and herbal medicine were used for treatment. Most studies used visual analogue scale as primary outcome. Conclusions Based on the results of the collected studies, we analyzed the clinical trends of Korean medicine treatments for iliopsoas muscle. The results showed that a variety of Korean medicine treatments can be applied to the iliopsoas muscle and positive effects can be confirmed.

최근 토모테라피의 빗면 조사 빔(tangential beam)을 이용하여 전자 빔과 광자 빔의 인접 조사 없이도 치료에 필요한 선량을 균일하게 전달할 수 있다는 결과가 보고되면서, 토모테라피를 이용한 피부암 치료가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 토모테라피 치료 빔은 선형가속기 빔과는 다른 물리적인 특성을 갖고 있으며, 여러 가지 동적 요소들이 결합되어 빔을 조사하므로 기존에 사용하고 있는 팬톰 이외의 독립적인 도구를 사용하여 피부 선량을 검증할 필요가 있다. 피부 선량 검증을 위하여 영상 기반 치료용 팬톰에 선량 측정 기능을 추가한 새로운 팬톰을 개발하였으며, 열형광선량계(LiF, TLD-100)와 GafChromic EBT필름을 팬톰에 삽입하여 전달된 피부 선량을 측정하였다. 팬톰의 반지름 방향으로 피부 영역을 포함하여 깊이 35 mm 영역까지 균일한 선량을 전달했을 때, 필름으로 측정한 특정 점에서의 선량은 계산 선량에 대하여 평균 약 2% 정도 낮게 나타났으며 처방 선량보다 최대 ${\pm}14%$까지 더 높거나 낮은 선량이 전달된 영역이 나타나는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 치료 계획 시스템의 계산 결과와 비교하였을 때, 조사 영역에서 측정한 선량 분포의 균일성이 감소하였으며 팬톰 내에 삽입한 테플론에 의한 선량 변화는 거의 나타나지 않았다. 토모테라피의 치료 빔을 이용하여 피부암과 같이 굴곡이 있는 낮은 깊이에 위치한 표적에 선량을 전달하는 경우, 연속적으로 회전하며 조사되는 빗면 조사 빔의 특성과 치료 계획 시스템의 선량 계산 방식에 따라서 피부 선량의 오차가 허용 범위보다 더 크게 나타날 수 있으므로 치료전 측정을 통한 피부 선량 검증이 필요하다.
