This research was conducted to establish recommendable side shoot management methods in the growth and yield of tomato in winter. A cherry tomato, $^{\circ}{\times}Unicorn^{\circ}{\pm}$ (Monsanto Korea, Korea) was cultivated in coconut coir in the form of bag as substrate. There were four treatments related to side shoot removal methods; 1) To remove all side shoots and also each one of three leaves which gives shade to each cluster attached below (UP-FL), 2) To remove all side shoots and also each one of three leaves which gives shade to each cluster only with fruit attached below (UP-FR), 3) To remove all side shoots (AS-All), and 4) To remain two leaves of each side shoot coming from right below each cluster (AS-Part). The number of malformed leaves were more in UP-FL, UP-FR, AS-All, and AS-Part in descending order, which showed the severe the removal of leaves the more the malformed leaves. The malformed leaves were diminished after the development stage the second or third cluster bloomed. The yields until fifth cluster were not different among the treatments. Therefore removal of side shoots and leaves recommends not to be done severely in early growth stage when tomato plants are cultivated in winter.
The introduction of the world geodetic reference system in cadastral sector can apply the international standardization of cadastral survey and can be the basis for the creation of new industries by merging with other industries based on spatial information. With the introduction of the world geodetic reference system, non-coincidence land may cause problems which are whether the cadastral record and the real estate register are not consistent, etc. This problem infringes on the protection of ownership of citizens suggested in the main purpose of 「Act On The Establishment, Management, Etc. Of Spatial Data」. We have analyzed at overlapping cases between private land and overlapping cases between national and public land and suggested institutional improvement measures to solve problems arising on the site. As a result, it will be necessary to introduce a transformation verification measure by the world geodetic reference system in order to assign a function as a cadastral records to mapping converted to the world geodetic reference system. It is also expected that the legal and institutional basis should be established for alert adjustment and positioning through verification measures. Finally, it is difficult to determine the transformation factor as the co-ordinates of common points also differ because survey results vary by work area. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to consider the requirement to use the cadastral measurement basis by the world geodetic reference system in 2021.
In this study, from a long-term perspective, we tried to find and present a plan to apply the results of transformation of cadastral coordinates to the world geodetic system in stages for cadastral records of graphical and digital cadastral area. There was a case where the difference in area before and after the transformation occurred irregularly in the transformation result of the cadastral coordinate system currently being promoted. In addition, it was found that transformation errors in cadastral non-coincidence areas occurred accumulatively, and the period for acquiring world geodetic results for cadastral reference points was insufficient. In order to solve this problem, the study proposed a plan to provide spatial information and related fields through advancement of continuous cadastral maps, etc. for maps that have been primarily transformed by the end of 2020. In addition, the maps used for cadastral surveying purposes were presented in the direction of applying them to cadastral records in numerical form in the long term to conform to the characteristics of graphical and digital cadastral area. It is expected that more stable cadastral record will be reflected by applying the world coordinate transformation performance by dividing the graphical and digital cadastral area.

There are problems in using existing fisheries maps, because of deterioration of paper maps, as well as various coordinate systems. In this study, accuracy of fishery maps in World Geodetic System are evaluated. Materials on fishery rights in the Jeollanam-do Province, a study area, used many kind of coordinate systems. During digitization, these coordinate systems have been converted and unified in one World Geodetic System, and one projection origin. In this research, the accuracy of the products of digitization is verified using DGPS surveying. The RMSEs are minimum of 4.62m(at the Younggwang Seas) to maximum of 17.47m(at the Jangheung Seas), and average of 11.97m. The results shows that the digitized fishery maps meet the accuracy standard of 1/25,000 digital topographic maps.

According as standard of measurement is changed to world geodetic system by surveying law revision, we need to transform previous 1/1,000 digital maps as a standards of world geodetic system. And, we should acquire standard strategy to minimize confusion and error by conversion of geodetic surveying standards. Thus, conversion of digital maps must be transformed efficiently and consistently according to notice of relevant standard. As common point, we have used 1/1,000 digital map and local geodetic system coordinates and world geodetic system coordinates that had been used in UIS business of Pusan city and, make a analysis of distortion quantity using KASM Trans Ver 2.2. As the result of distortion quantity calculation about all Pusan city, numbers of area that error is over 0.05m are 35 in case of X(N) and 43 in case of Y(E). Because some business section have especially much error, we divided into 3 areas, that was A,B,C, and analyzed. As a result of analysis, errors of more than 0.05m are occurred only 1 X(E) in the B area and 1 X(N) and 1 Y(E) in the C area. In conclusion, We think It is a good method that we consider a distortion quantity and divide a region, and transfer to world geodetic system for large area like Pusan city.
This study was conducted to develop an optimal pruning method for okra production. Three pruning methods were tested including apical bud removing, one-third removing from the top of plant, and no pruning as a control with 3 kinds interval for 15 days after 2 months sowing. The growth and development of okra was better at the treatment of one-third removing of plant than the others. The number of branches was 0.7 in control, 3.7~4.0 in apical bud removing, and 3.0~6.0 in one-third removing treatment. In summary, one-third pruning of plant from the top of plant at 30 days after starting of pruning treatment, which showed the highest yield by 12,910 kg/10a.

The WGS conversion project of cadastral drawing (promoted by the Ministry of Land) is not able to reflect the cadastral registration due to subtle differences such as area and location. When converting the digital cadastral region to the world geodetic system, the boundary point coordinates must be changed to the legal coordinate units. However, there is a phenomenon that occurs in which the minute area changes do not coincide with the area registered in the cadastral registration when the coordinate unit is changed. In this study, we have developed a method to adjust many parcels collectively by applying a passive fine-tuning method used in cadastral resurvey project to solve these problems. Total 1, total 2+1, interval 1, interval 2+1, etc. were classified based on the number of parcels that need to be considered for the range of adjustment and the area condition. The analysis of the experimental area (after developing SW for comparison of each method) showed that the total 2+1 method is suitable for the location accuracy and the interval 2+1 method is suitable for the temporal efficiency.

The Triangle Mesh Warping method is suggested and applied in coordinate transformation to world geodetic system in this study. The common points of Uiwang city are used to compare the transformation accuracy of the suggested methods with existing national coordinate transformation methods. As a result, the Triangle Mesh Warping method was satisfied with accuracy criteria for positioning on a map larger than scale 1/1,000 with smaller number of common points and without distortion modeling. Additionally, in case of Guri and Pyeongtaek city that established the World Geodetic System, the suggested method generates the result of transformation accuracy better than 5cm. Based on the test, it was found that the suggested method improves the problem of securing many common points and reduces the problem of mis-match between the transformed data of adjacent areas. Accordingly, for transformation of large-scale topographic map, cadastral map, GIS DB and serial cadastral map to the World Geodetic System, it is judged that the Triangle Mesh Warping would be a good method for economical efficiency and accuracy using by minimum common point.
Population densities of intermediate nymphs and egg saw of Matsucoccus thunbergianae, a major insect pest of Pinus thunbergiona in southern coastal area of Korean peninsula, were est~mated. Tree samples of ca. 10cm D.B.H. were collected from old infestation area and newly invaded area. The numben of plimaly branches per tree were not significantly different by the locality, but those of secondaly and smaller branches were smaller in old infestation area The numbers of intermediate nymphs per tree in old infestation area and in newly invaded area were 10.8 and 13.1 times more than those on the trunk, respectively Approximately between 4, 200 and 208, 500 nymphs per tree were estimated. Men secondaw and smaller bmnch samples collected from the basal part of middle crown height, or from the central or the basal part of lower crown height, the number of samples required for the emr range of 20% were 21 and 11 far 10-20cm and 20-3 crn long branches, respectively. Approx~mately 63.6% of egg sacs of the whole tree were on the trunk. The node/intemode bearing the largest branch had the highest egg sac density; including that, four adjacent nodes/intemodes had ca. 37% of egg saw on the trunk.
