Recently we performed video-assisted thoracoscopic[VAT] examination and bullectomy under local anesthesia. Of the 10 patients undergoing VAT examination under local anesthesia with primary spontaneous pneumothorax, 8 patients underwent VAT bullectomy under local anesthesia using endo-GIA; 7 patients discharged within 24 hours after operation; 1 patient had an air leak after operation, so chemical pleurodesis with doxycycline was performed and discharged postoperative day 3. There have been no recurrence to date[60-120 days after operation]. We think spontaneous pneumothorax can be treated on an out-patient basis.

응력집중의 원인은 여러 가지 있으며, 각각의 방지대책 또한 이론적으로는 밝혀져 있다. 그러나 실제 용접구조물에 있어서는 여러 가지 제약조건 때문에 유효한 방지대학을 적용할 수 없는 경우도 있어 이러한 경우에는 설계와 시공 등을 통하여 최적의 조건을 도출하는 것이 중요하다. 또한, 응력집중의 악영향은 사용조건이나 환경에 의하여 크게 변화하므로, 어떤 조건에서는 문제되지 않는 응력집중이 다른 조건에서는 손상의 원인이 되기도 한다. 빈약한 경험에 근거한 독단이나 지식부족에 의한 무분별은 극히 위험한 것이다. 응력집중의 악영향을 방지하는데는 설계기술자는 물론 용접시공을 담당하는 용접기술자, 용접지도자 등 넓은 범위의 관련기술자가 응력집중의 악영향과 그 방지대책의 기본에 대하여 바른 지식을 가지고 용접시공에 관련된 모든 공정 및 작업에 주의를 기울이고 적절한 조처를 취하는 것이 중요하다.

운전원 수동조치는 원자력발전소 화재시 발전소 안전정지를 달성하고 유지하기 위하여 절차에 따라 주제어실 이외의 장소에서 취하는 운전원의 행위를 말한다. 화재시 운전원 수동조치는 발전소 정상운전 동안의 조치에 비해 더 긴장된 상태에서 정해진 시간내에 임무를 완수하여야 한다는 점 때문에 조치성공 가능성을 확인하기 위하여는 행위의 타당성과 신뢰성이 입증되어야 한다. 운전원 수동조치의 타당성과 신뢰성은 조치의 가용시간, 환경조건 등 10가지의 인자를 고려한 시간분석, 절차 및 훈련, 이행, 입증의 과정을 거쳐서 검증될 수 있다.

다수의 사람과 파일을 공유할 수 있는 웹하드 서비스의 이점을 이용하여 각종 불법복제물 등의 업로드를 유도하고 다운로드를 통해 이득을 취하는 특수유형의 OSP(Online Service Provider, 온라인 서비스 제공자)들이 출현하게 되었다. 이런 범죄가 일어나는 업체의 데이터베이스에는 모든 이용자들의 관련 기록을 담고 있어 헤비업로더의 활동내역뿐만 아니라 업체측의 방조혐의 등의 증거를 추출할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 특수유행 OSP들의 대용량 데이터베이스를 신속하고 정확하게 무결성을 유지하며 데이터베이스의 데이터를 수집할 수 있는 방법에 대해 연구해보고, 수집한 데이터 또한 신속하게 분석하는 방법을 제안하였다.

본 논문에서는 차종 식별을 위해 차량 영상의 질감 특징을 사용하였다. 차량의 질감 특징 정보를 얻기 위한 관심영역으로 라디에이터 그릴 부분을 선택하였다. 추출된 관심영역으로부터 GLCM(Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix)을 사용하여 질감 특징 값을 추출하였고, 그 특징 값들을 입력으로 취하는 3층의 신경회로망을 구성한 후 역전파 학습 알고리즘을 사용하여 학습을 시켜서 차종 식별을 시도하였다.

In this paper we collect data concerning sleep environments in a bedroom and analyze the relationship between the collected condition data and sleep. In addition, this paper detects scene changes from the subjects in a sleeping state and presents the physical conditions, reactions during sleep, and physical sensations and stimuli. To detect scene changes in image sequences, we used color histogram for the difference between the preceding frame and the current frame. In addition, to extract the tossing and turning for different situations, the subjects were instructed to enter the level of fatigue, the level of drinking, and the level of stomach emptiness. For the sleep experiment system, we used the H-MOTE2420 Sensor composed of temperature, humidity, and light sensors. This paper is intended to provide the best sleep environment that enhances sleep quality, thus inducing people today to get regular and comfortable sleep.

In this paper, an efficient optical watermark method using multiple phase wrapping and real-valued decoding key is proposed. In the embedding process, two zero-padded original images placed in two quadrants on input plane are multiplied with two statistically independent random phase patterns and are Fourier transformed, respectively. Two encoded images are obtained by taking the real-valued data from these Fourier transformed images. And then two phase-encoded patterns, used as a hidden image and a decoding key, are generated by the use of multiple phase wrapping from each of the encoded images. A transmitted image is made from the linear superposition of the weighted hidden images and a cover image. In reconstruction process, the mirror reconstructed images can be obtained at all quadrants by the inverse-Fourier transform of the product of the transmitted image and the decoding key. Computer simulation and optical experiment are demonstrated in order to confirm the proposed method.

Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is an inherited skin disease characterized by blister formation of the skin following just minor trauma or spontaneously. The main classification of EB is based on the localization of the blistering. In epidermolysis bullosa simplex, the blister formation is intraepidermal; in epidermolysis bullosa junctionalis the blister formation in the epidermal-dermal junction; in the dystrophic forms of EB blister formation is intradermal. Oral manifestations of recessive dystrophic EB are characterized by rampant caries, crowding, microstomia, ankyloglossia, vestibular obliteration. Dental therapy may be well provided to patient with recessive dystrophic EB by using general anesthesia especially in case of poor cooperation. A two years old girl with recessive dystrophic EB visited our clinic for rampant caries. She was hospitalized for severe anemia and fever, and we provided dental therapy under general anesthesia. Extraction of incisors and stainless steel crown restoration of primary molars were performed.

The dentists often encouter a child who can not be treated with traditional behavior management technique. Mentally or physically handicapped child could receive proper dental care under general anesthesia. General anesthesia for dental care can be done in an outpatient surgery or inpatient surgery depending on the patient. In outpatient surgery, the patient is admitted and discharged the same day. Postoperative care and discharge procedure are abbreviated. Advantages of outpatient surgery are much less emotional disturbance of patients, reduced risk of nosocomial infection and less cost of treatment. A case of a physically handicapped patient treated under general anesthesia at Day Surgery Center is presented and the procedure and patient selection of outpatient surgery as well as its limitation is reviewed in this paper.

To analyze the present state of buildings suspended in Gangwon and estimate the compressive strength by visual inspection and Schmidt hammer method in order to analyze durability etc.. In this study, we analyzed the problems that existed in the location where construction is suspended and efficient management method. Expected construction restoration of construction will be restarted, and important parts of the construction site should be given the best protection measures so that the quality can be maintained thoroughly. The construction of the suspended construction is exposed to the freezing and thawing damage over time. Therefore, it is necessary to take measures such as maintenance, and take protective measures by establishing a plan to improve the durability of buildings that are under construction.
