Prediction on heat and mass transfer coefficients in a packed layer of a regenerator with a solar desiccant cooling system (태양열제습냉방시스템 중 재생기의 충진층 내 열물질 전달계수에 관한 예측)

  • 본 논문은 태양열이용 냉난방시스템 중에서 실제로 액체흡수제를 재생하는 재생탑 내의 충진층에 있어서의 열 및 물질전달의 실험치와 이론적 해석에 의한 결과치와의 비교를 나타내고 있다.특히 물질전달의 극대화를 위하여 충진층 내에서 공기와 흡수제의 접촉면적을 크게 할 필요가 있는데,이를 위해서 본 실험에서는 직경이 3cm인 플라스틱제 충진재를 사용하였으며, 흡수제로는 저농도의 염화리튬 수용액이 사용 되었다. 충진층 내에서의 최적 높이를 예측하기 위하여 해석의 모델인 실험장치를 직접 제작하여 실험을 수행하였고, 이론 해석에 있어서 체적 열전달을 고려한 정상상태를 모델화하여 해석하였다. 이 결과, 충진층 내에서 실험치와 이론적인 계산치가 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었으며, 충진층의 높이가 2m 이상인 경우에는 높이에 따른 재생량의 차이가 없어서 없음을 알 수 있었다.

  • This report Introduces a total heat exchanger in a solar air-conditioning system using Lithium Chloride(LiCl) solution. The hot and humid outside air is cooled and dehumidified by LiCl solution that is sprayed on the packed layer of the total heat exchanger. LiCl solution once diluted is concentrated again in a regenerator using solar energy. Three types as the packed materials were used in this experiment and the dehumidification performance was evaluated by the value of $k_xa(kg/h{\cdot}m^3{\cdot}{\Delta}x)$, overall mass transfer coefficient based on a humidity ratio potential difference, the influence of inlet LiCl solution flow rate, air flow rate, packed layer height on $k_xa$ was investigated. It was found that air flow rate, LiCl solution flow rate, packed layer height for all types had a great influnce on the value of $k_xa$.

  • 최근에 에너지절약 차원에서 종래의 공조방식을 대신할 새로운 냉난방시스템 개발이 요구되고 있는데, 본 논문에서는 태양열 집열기를 이용하는 데시컨트 시스템 중 제습역할을 실질적으로 담당하는 제습기의 충진층 부분에서의 열 및 물질전달에 관한 일련의 해석 결과를 발표하고 있다. 제습과정에서 액체흡수제는 충진층에서 열 뿐만 아니라 물질전달을 수반하게 되는데, 이 결과 건물에 냉방 및 난방효과를 가져다 준다. 따라서 이 충진층의 최적 설계가시스템의 효율을 극대화하기 위해서는 무엇보다도 중요한데, 이를 위해서는 충진층에서의 열 및 물질전달 양상을 규명하여야 한다. 따라서 금번 실험에서는 공기와 액체흡수제와의 접촉면적을 넓히기 위해서 충진재로써 3cm(직경) ${\times}$ 3cm(높이)인 시판중인 플라스틱 재질을 사용하고, 실질적으로 40cm(너비)${\sim}$40cm(깊이)${\times}$40cm(높이)의 충진층을 직접 제작하여 실험을 행하였다. 그 결과, 공기측 열 및 물질전달 계수는 공기 온도와 밀접한 관계를 갖고 있으며, 또한 물질전달계수는 열전달계수와 같은 경향을 보이고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • Alumina powder is one of the widely used materials for industry, but there is a problem that the strength of the product changes depending on the powder packing state. To solve the above problem, previous studies have been conducted to increase the particle packing efficiency, but most of the existing studies analyzed the packing characteristics of millimeter-scale particles, so the physical properties are different from those of the micrometer scale. It is difficult to apply to the micrometer scale. In this paper, a three-step experiment was performed using a statistical method to increase packing using micrometer-scale alumina powder. First, a size combination with high packing and a mixing ratio were selected using the mixture test design method, and an appropriate excitation frequency was selected by analyzing the height change according to the frequency change in the vibration test apparatus. Finally, an alumina powder packing experiment was performed based on the experimental results mentioned above. As a result, it was confirmed that the maximum height variation was 42% higher than the maximum value of the 155 measurements performed when selecting the packing size combination. It is thought that this study will serve as basic data for processing and packing research using fine powder.

An Exprimental Study on the Heat Transfer Performance in a Fluidized Bed Double Pipe Heat Exchanger (수직이중관식(垂直二重管式) 유동층형(流動層形) 열교환기(熱交換器)의 전열성능(傳熱性能)에 관한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究))

  • Experiments have been conducted to measure the heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop in fluidized bed double pope heat exchangers with smooth tube and longitudinal finned tube. The effect of particle size(alumina beads; do=0.41, 0.54, 0.65, 0.77 mm) and static bed height on the heat transfer coefficient has been evaluated in terms of pumping power. The heat transfer coefficient for the smooth tube and finned tube heat exchangers has been compared with single phase double pipe heat exchanger. Results show that the heat transfer coefficients for the finned tube in $2.96{\sim}3.45$ times higher than the smooth tube. The heat transfer coefficients for the fluidized bed heat exchanger is higher than the single phase heat exchanger for the most of pumping power range tested. The maximum increase in the heat transfer coefficient for fluidized bed is 91.3% for the smooth tube and 127.1% for the finned tube.

  • 나노 기술은 21 세기에 들어와 모든 산업에 고루 이용되며 미래를 이끌어 나갈 기숱로 평가되고 있다. 고압 회전기용 주절연재료의 개발에서도 에폭시에 나노충진제를 혼합하여 복합재료로 만드는 나노기술이 활용되고 있으며, 이러한 나노기술을 바탕으로 절연성능을 높이고, 열적, 기계적 안정성을 높이는 기술 개발에 관심을 기울이고 있다. 하지만 이러한 성능향상을 위해서는 반드시 에폭시 기지 내에 충진제가 골고루 분산되어야 하며. 에폭시의 점도로 인해 제조 과정에서 발생하는 기포의 생성은 시료의 제조에 큰 영향을 끼치게 된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 점에 착인하여 무충진 시료와 제조과정에서 혼입될 수 있는 불순물, 족 분산을 위한 유기 용매를 제조과정에서 고의로 혼합하여 이에 따른 기계적/유전적 특성과 엉항를 살펴보았다.

Estimation on Filling Performance of Thixotropic Grout for Increasing Front-Water Depth of Gravity-Type Quay Wall (중력식 안벽 구조물의 증심 시공을 위한 가소성 그라우트의 충진성능 평가)

  • Recently, as the size of transportation vessels has increased, there is a growing need for securing the front-water depths of existing port facilities. The method of deepening front-water depth is securing the depth of the port facility, and it is reinforced by grouting after excavating the rubble-mound to the required depth. The purpose of this study is to investigate the reinforcing performance and filling performance of thixotropic grout as a grouting material for reinforcing rubble-mound. Compressive strength tests were carried out for two types of thixotropic grout, and 5 specimens with a diameter of 400 mm and a height of 530 mm were manufactured and evaluated for filling performance. The required strength of reinforced rubble-mound required to ensure the safety of the structure is 6 MPa. All the thixotropic grouts used in this study were found to satisfy the required strength over 9 MPa at 7 days of age. As a result of visual observation of filling state of the filling performance test specimens, it was confirmed that the thixotropic grout was well filled up to the desired fillet height.

The Effect on Treatment Performance of Fiber Filter Under Various Packing-Density and Filtration Velocity (충진밀도와 여과속도가 섬유사 여과기의 처리 성능에 미치는 영향)

  • A flexile fiber filter developed in Korea was operated to evaluate the effect of packing density and filtration velocity on particle removal. The pilot-scale fiber filter with 40 cm of diameter and 2 m of height was packed with polyamide fibers of which mean diameter was approximately 0.93 mm. While the filtration velocity was maintained at 325 m/hr, the particle removal efficiency was compared with various of packing density from $70kg/m^3\;to\;100kg/m^3$. On the contrary, when the packing density was maintained at $70kg/m^3$, the particle removal efficiency was examined with various filtration velocity from 65 m/hr to 400 m/hr. The filtration pressure increased with the packing-density increase. Below $80kg/m^3$ of packing density, the removal efficiencies of turbidity ad SS were less than 30% and 50%, respectively. At $100kg/m^3$ of packing density, the removal efficiencies of them were nearly 45% and 60% respectively. The filtration pressure increased with the filtration-velocity increase. A better removal efficiency was obtained at a lower filtration velocity, removal efficiency of them were 73% at 65 m/hr. Consequently, The filtration velocity was the more important factor to enhance the particle removal efficiency compared with the packing density in fiber filter.

Simultaneous Removal of $SO_2/NO$ using liquid Homogeneous Catalyst (액상 균일질 촉매를 이용한 $SO_2/NO$ 동시 처리 기술 개발)

  • It was investigated to develop the technology for simultaneous removal of $SO_2/NO$ in flue gas using liquid homogeneous catalyst. Test was carried out using a bench scale and a pilot scale experiment. The investigation led to the following results: 1) Removal efficiency of $SO_2$ gas showed good results regardless of operating condition. Removal efficiency of NO gas, however, proportionally increased with higher packing height, lower concentration and larger injection rate of catalyst 2) The optimum design parameters for simultaneous removal of $SO_2/NO$ gas using Fe(II)-EDTA catalyst were as follow: HTU(height of transfer unit) = 0.5 m, liquid gas ratio = 20 $L/m^3$, NTU (number of transfer unit) = 3 stages, cross dimension of scrubber=0.025 $m^2$ 3) The removal efficiencies of $SO_2$ and NO were 95% and 81%, repletely. 4) The high HTU is advantageous on removal of the NO, but the excessive HTU diminishes operating efficiency. Consequently, it is important to decide the HTU of optimum.

  • 현재, 반도체 등의 정밀 공업제품의 제조 기술의 발전에 따라서, 공기중의 미세 입자 제거 기술의 고도화가 요구되어 지고 있다. 이러한 미세 입자 제거에 사용되는 물질중 섬유층 필터는 구조가 단순하고, 여러 가지의 집진 조건에 비교적 용이하게 사용이 가능하여, 오늘날 폭넓은 분야에서 사용되어 왔다. 이러한 고성능의 포집 효율을 위한 노력으로, 섬유경을 작게하에 제작된 HEPA필터등이 이제까지의 청정공기의 생성에 널리 이용되어 왔지만, 장치를 대형화하지 않고서는 고포집효율, 저압력손실로 대량의 공기를 처리하는 것에는 한계가 있으며, 섬유경이 작게 되면, 압력손실이 증가되고, 압력손실의 증가는 동력 비용을 높이는 결과와 함께, 섬유 충진율의 분균일성등의 문제점이 발생한다.
