A Study Of Practical For Eco-Grouting Materials (친환경 그라우팅 재료를 통한 현장 적용성 연구)

  • 그라우팅은 건설공사에서 지반의 갈라진 틈이나 공동, 공극 등에 적절한 충전재를 압력을 이용하여 주입하는 것으로, 굴착공사 시 누수방지와 불안정한 지반의 보강을 위하여 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 그라우팅 주입재의 재료로는 물유리계를 주재료로 사용하는 약액주입공법이 많이 사용되어지고 있다. 기존의 물유리계 재료를 사용할 경우 발생하는 용출현상 및 강도저하를 보완하기 위하여 가소성을 부과한 무기질계 재료ECG(Eco Clean Grouting)를 사용하여, 강도 및 내구성이 우수하고 주입재의 용출 현상이 발생하지 않아 환경오염 문제가 거의 없는 영구적인 차수 및 보강에 적합한지와 친환경적 특성을 확인한다. 본 연구는 가소성 무기질계 재료인 ECG(Eco Clean Grouting)재료를 사용하여 현재 많이 사용되는 재료인 물유리계 재료로 일축압축강도, 체적변화, 내구성 평가, 투수시험, 어독성 시험, 용탈시험등을 수행하여 비교 분석 하였다. 일축압축 시험결과 재령 28일 강도는 ECG가 물유리재료에 비해 크게 발현되었고, 내화학성시험 결과 ECG의 길이변화율이 거의 없는 것으로 내화학성에서 강점을 보였다.

  • This study wag performed to evaluate the engineering properties of permeable polymer concrete with stone dust and fly ash and unsaturated polyester resin. The following conclusions were drawn. 1. The highest strength was achieved by stone dust filled permeable polymer concrete, it was increased 17% by compressive strength, 188% by bending strength than that of the normal cement concrete, respectively. 2. The water permeability was in the range of 3.O76~4.152${\ell}/ cm{^2}/h$, and it was largely dependent upon the mix design. These concrete can be used to the structures which need water permeability. 3. The static modulus of elasticity was in the range of $1.15{\times} 10^5kg/cm^2$, which was approximately 53 56% of that of the normal cement concrete. 4. The poisson's number of permeable polymer concrete was in the range of 5.106~5.833, which was less than that of the normal cement concrete. 5. The dynamic modulus of elasticity was in the range of $1.29{\times} 10^5~1.5{\times} 10^5 kg/cm^2$, which was approximately less compared to that of the normal cement concrete. Stone dust filled permeable polymer concrete was showed higher dynamic modulus. The dynamic modulus of elasticity were increased approximately 7~13% than that of the static modulus. 6. The compressive strength, bending strength, elastic modulus, poisson's ratio, longitudinal strain and horizontal strain were decreased with the increase of poisson's number and water permeability at those concrete.

Improvement of Dry-blasting Efficiency for Ballast used as Aggregate of Paved Track (포장궤도 골재용 도상자갈의 건식 블라스팅 효율 향상 연구)

  • On the paved track, the ballast is used as aggregate for the filling layer using the pre-packed concrete technique. The most important condition of aggregate is adhesive strength with mortar. To satisfy this condition, surface of aggregate should be cleaned by water or others. In a paved-track method to be introduced domestically, an environment-friendly dry-washing technology which will replace the water-washing method has been developed. A dry-washing method was designed to blast the crushed weight material with a diameter of 0.3~0.5mm at high pressure to peel the surface of the aggregate. The study was intended to enhance the washing efficiency of dry-blasting technology and to that end, the tests including blasting material, content of fine aggregate depending on time elapsed, content of chloride, LA abrasion rate and compressive strength were conducted to recommend the efficient washing material and the process.

  • To resolve environmental problem of waste tire and asbestos and also to capitalize the wastes, we developed a new kind of friction material using scrap tire, potassium hexatitanate, filler, and friction modifier in which rubber made a continuous phase. The material containing 5, 20, 10, 20phr of potassium hexatitanate, phenol, friction modifier, $BaSO_4$, respectively showed good friction properties, high and stable coefficient or friction, and low wear rate.

  • To recycle the waste tire rubber powder, rubber powder composite for waterproof sheet was prepared, and analyzed the effect of the kind of resin and the amount of crosslinking agent on the mechanical property of the composites. The elongation-at-break of the PE composite increased more than 3 times as EPDM was added into rubber composites. As the content of the crosslinking agent increased, the tensile strength of composite increased as well. When recycled polypropylene was used, the increase in composite's tensile strength was more than 3 times. Therefore to use the recycled PP in composite is more effective rather than PP in term mechanical properties.

Properties of the high strength and self-compacting concrete according to the replacement ratio of fly ash (플라이애쉬의 치환율에 따른 고강도 자기충전 콘크리트의 특성)

  • This study describes the optimum mix proportion of the high strength and self-compacting concrete placed in main structures of LNG above tank. This concrete requires high strength level about $60{\sim}80MPa$, low hydration heat, balance between workability and consistency without vibrating in the actual work. For this purpose, low heat portland cement and fly ash are selected and design factors including water-binder ratio, replacement ratio of fly ash are tested. As experimental results, low heat portland cement shows lower the confined water ratio than another cement type and the optimum replacement ratio of fly ash in order to improve properties of the binder-paste shows 10% by cement weight considering test results of the confined water ratio$({\beta}p)$. Also, flowability of the high strength and self-compacting concrete by using fly ash about $10{\sim}20%$ is improved. The replacement ratio of fly ash 10% and water-binder ratio $25{\sim}27%$ are suitable to the design strength 80MPa and cost, In case of the design strength 60MPa, the replacement ratio of fly ash and water-binder ratio show 20% and $25{\sim}30%$ separately. Based on the results of this study, the optimum mix proportions of the high strength and self-compacting concrete will be applied to the construction of LNG above tank as a new type.

Separation and Purification of Fructo-oligosaccharides by an Ion-Exchange Resin Column (이온교환수지탑을 이용한 Fructo-oligosaccharides의 분리 및 정제)

  • Separation of pure fructo-oligosaccharides from the mixed solution of glucose, sucrose and fructo-oligosaccharides was studied using a cationic ion-exchange resin column. Optimum separation conditions, i.e., temperature, feeding rate and the ratio of column vs. diameter were evaluated, which were found to be $85^{\circ}C$, $0.25h^{-1}$ and 30, respectively. At the optimized separation conditions, high-purity fructo-oligosaccharides up to 96% were obtained and the total recovery yield was about 66% after four cycles. After the chromatographic separation, purification to remove the salts and color in pure fructo-oligosaccharides solution was successfully conducted using the mixed-bed of cationic and anionic ionexchange resin columns.

  • 고전압 대 전류를 필요로 하는 펄스 파워 시스템에서 스위치는 중요한 소자중의 하나이다. 펄스 트랜스포머를 이용하여 고전압 펄스를 만드는 회로에서 대전류 스위칭에는 대부분 스파크 갭 스위치나 싸이라트론을 사용하는데 높은 펄스 반복 율과 긴 수명을 제공하기 위해서는 반도체 스위치를 사용해야한다. 고전압 대전류 펄스파워 시스템에 적합한 반도체 스위치의 스위칭 특성과 제어방식에 관한 연구를 수행하였다 실험에 사용한 스위치는 20 kV, 12.6 kA, 12 ${\mu}s$의 펄스 스위칭이 가능한 ABB사의 반도체스위치 스택 (5SPR-26L4508-8-WC)이다. 실험회로는 콘덴서에 충전을 완료한 다음 스위치와 인덕터를 통하여 방전하도록 구성하였다. 8개의 직렬 연결된 스위치는 광케이블을 사용하여 병렬구동하고, 고주파 스위칭 전류전원을 사용하여 고전압 절연을 하면서 게이트 구동전력을 전달하도록 하였다. 본 논문에서는 스위치 전압과 방전전류를 관측하여 반도체 스위치의 특성을 조사하였다.

  • Under the condition of water electrolysis in aqueous hydrochloric acid as the electrolyte, the lead removal from the lead-loaded activated carbon packed on the anode was investigated. The adequate flow condition is a total flow rate of 10 mL/min in the same flow rate ratio to both electrodes. The increase of current decreases pH values at the anode and the decrease of pH leads to the lead removal. This work shows that the water electrolysis is an efficient method for the lead removal from the lead-loaded activated carbon with a reduction in quantity of the chemical used in comparison with the acid rinse.

  • Ethanol steam reforming reaction considered as a clean hydrogen production method is introduced in this paper. Reactivity and reaction rate equation of ethanol steam reforming reaction using various catalysts, reaction temperature, and molar ratio of ethanol and water will be discussed. In addition to introducing a membrane reactor combining a reactor and a separator, the effect of the use of a membrane reactor on an ethanol conversion and hydrogen yield will be compared to those from a conventional packed-bed reactor.
