In other to evaluate the static and dynamic stiffness of machine tool structure, the accuracy and error from experimental methods are studied in this paper. The F.E.M., impulse tests and exciter tests are performed for the general simple structure whose exact solution can be obtained. So that the parameter and dynamic compliance can be got. From the result, the variation of natural frequency can be verified from the static preload. Further more the relationship of identify and difference for compliance and direction is presented in the exciting direction and measurement direction.

In this paper, the optimal command input is considered in order to minimize the residual vibrations of a flexible cantilever beam when the beam simply changes its position by translation or rotation. Although a cantilever beam has many modes of vibration, it is shown that the consideration of the first mode is sufficient in this case. Thus, the problem becomes a single-degree-of-freedom system subjected to a ground excitation. Two simple methods are proposed to find the optimal command input based on the shock response spectrum (SRS). The first method is the simplest and can be applied to lightly damped cases, and the second method is applicable to more general problems. The second method gives almost the same results as the input shaping method. However the proposed method gives a easier and clearer control strategy.

In this study, vibrations and resulting acoustic radiations from an elastic beam impacted by a steel ball were studied theoretically and experimentally. First the transverse vibrations of free-free elastic beams are analysed with modal analysis technique. The impact forces are modeled with the Hertz's theory and the contanct duration is compared with the measured values. Also the calculated beam vibrations are verified with the experimental results. Then the acoustic radiations due to the beam vibration are studied numberically and experimentally. The acousticpressure is calculated assuming the beam has an elliptical cross-section. The predicted acoustic pressure is compared with the measured value. It was found that both the predicted beamvibrations using the Hertz's theory and the estimated acoustic pressure under the assumption of an elliptical cross- section are in very good agreements with the measured values.
In general, open trenches or in-filled trenches have been used to isolate transmitting of vibration. Recently alternative methods, in which various materials are used for wall barriers have been proposed and performed in several sites. Although the effects of these methods are verified, resonable and qualitative evaluation methods have not yet been conducted. It may be because many factors, such as the characteristics of vibration sources, ground condition, and parameters of wall barrier are coupled complicatedly. In this study, a series of centrifugal modelings were conducted in order to examine the evaluation method of a vibration wall barrier when point load transmits to the surface. The experiments were performed with different stiffness of wall barriers and different depths of installations. Using the results obtained from tests, effects of those variables on the efficiency of vibration barrier were analyzed. Through this investigation we observed vibration transmission of under ground, and verified the applicability of ball dropping system which was developed in this study.
The evaluation of the degree of compaction of the embankment area, which accounts for most of highway earthworks, is generally performed by a flat plate loading test. The plate loading test is a traditional test method and has high reliability in the field. However, as reaction force equipment must be carried out and it takes about 40 minutes per site during the test, there may be limitations in managing the entire expanse of earthworks. Meanwhile, in order to overcome this, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport proposed a simple method of evaluating the level of compactness in the provisional guidelines for compaction management of the packaging infrastructure in 2010. However, it has not been utilized at the highway construction site until now, 10 years later. Therefore, this study attempted to verify the utility of the compaction evaluation method using LFWD (Light Falling Weight Deflectometer) of the impact loading method among the test methods suggested in the provisional guideline. To this end, the correlation was derived by conducting a plate loading test and an LFWD test for each site property and compaction degree. As a result of the test, there was no consistency of test data in the ground with a relative compaction of 80% or less. However, it was confirmed that the correlation has a tendency to increase beyond that. If the test method or test equipment is improved to ensure the consistency of the test values of the impact loading method in the future, it will play a big role in solving the blind spot for compaction management in the earthworks.

이용한 해마의 부피측정은 해마경화증 환자의 진단에 있어 육안적인 MR 진단이 어려운 제한된 경우에만 실제적 도움을 줄 수 있는 보조적인 방법으로 생각된다.ofile whereas relaxivity at high field is not affected by τS. Various PSC and steel-concrete composite railway bridges are being developed for short-medium spans with structural and economic efficiency. According to the design concept, the prestressed composite girder bridge has the advantages of being lightweight and having low girder depth, with the capacity for long spans. However, the dynamic behavior under a passing train is one of the critical issues concerning these railway bridges designed with more flexibility. Therefore, it is very important to evaluate the modal parameters before performing dynamic analyses. In this paper, real-scale prestressed composite girders were fabricated as a test model and modal testing was carried out to evaluate modal parameters including natural frequency and modal damping ratio. During the modal testing, a digitally controlled vibration exciter as well as an impact hammer was applied to obtain frequency-response functions, and the modal parameters were also evaluated after the fracture of test models. With application of reliable properties from modal tests, the estimation of dynamic performances of prestressed composite girder railway bridges can be obtained from various parametric studies on dynamic behavior under the passage of a moving train.

As an alternative to conventional prestressed concrete (PSC) girders, various types of PSC girders are either under development or have already been applied in bridge structures. Incrementally prestressed concrete girder is one of these newly developed girders. According to the design concept, these new types of PSC girders have the advantages of requiring less self-weight while having the capability of longer spans. However, the dynamic interaction between bridge superstructures and passing trains is one of the critical issues concerning these railway bridges designed with more flexibility. Therefore, it is very important to evaluate modal parameters of newly designed bridges before doing dynamic analyses. In the present paper, a 25 meters long full scale PSC girder was fabricated as a test specimen and modal testing was carried out to evaluate modal parameters including natural frequencies and modal damping ratios at every prestressing stage. During the modal testing, a digitally controlled vibration exciter as well as an impact hammer is applied, in order to obtain precise frequency response functions and the modal parameters are evaluated varying with construction stages. Prestressed force effects on changes of modal parameters are analyzed at every incremental prestressing stage. With the application of reliable properties from modal experiments, estimation of dynamic performances of PSC girder railway bridges can be obtained from various parametric studies on dynamic behavior under the passage of moving train. Dynamic displacements, impact factor, acceleration of the slab, end rotation of the girder, and other important dynamic performance parameters are checked with various speeds of the train.
