평일의 전력수요는 연속적인 시계열 특성이 뚜렷하여 전력수요예측 오차가 크지 않으나 특수일의 경우는 불연속적인 시계열특성을 가지게 되어 전력수요예측 오차율이 크다. 특히, 연휴의 직전 평일은 평일의 특성과 특수일의 특성이 혼재하고 있어 오차율이 가장 큰 일자 중 하나이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 연휴 직전 평일과 직전 일요일과의 부하 변동비를 계산하여 전력수요를 예측하는 방법을 제안하고, 추석연휴 직전 평일에 제안한 방법을 적용하여 최대수요예측 오차가 개선됨을 확인하였다.

This study was to investigate the eating behavior and the anthropometric and biochemical correlates of dietary restraint in femals university from 14 to 20 September 1997, including a Korean Thanksgiving day (16 September). The daily energy intakes and macronutrient compositions were analyzed by means of 7-day dietary records. The most important variable correlated with dietary restraint was hip girth. When dividing the subjects into restrained and unrestrained groups by the basis of a median spit on the hip girth, the restrained group had a about 400kcal less than the unrestrained group in 16 September. Differences were also found with respect to macronutrient composition. The restrained group showed a significant lower fat portion of the energy intake in 16 September and a higher fat portion in 20 September than the unrestrained group. It means that the restrained eaters reduced their fat intake in the Korean Thanksgiving day. However, they can't keep the cognitive control in the 4-day after the holiday.

Tunnel type spillway is rarely constructed in worldwide, and designed secondary in Korea. In this paper we pronounce a case study of tunnel type spillway design. We firstly considered lining concrete abrasiveness and cavitations for tunnel safety. This paper describes the design of tunnel type spillway section, excavation method, blasting, support and concrete lining.

The treatment of the wastewater of Carmine-6B Process was studied using an electrochemical batch reactor with Pt-electrodes. The concentration of azo dye was exponentially decreased unto 6-37% residuum during 50 hr operations. The fractional conversion was not influenced by the initial pH value, but it was increased with increasing the rotating speed and/or temperature of the electrolyte. It was observed by the differential method of rate analysis that the rate of the oxidation reaction at anode was exponentially increased with increasing the cell voltage. The pH of the wastewater was changed from acid or alkali to neutral. The COD of the solution was increased at the beginning of the treatment, but it was decreased soon.

철이 이른 감이 있었던 팔월 보름 추석명절도 지나고 아침 · 저녁으로 제법 쌀쌀한 기운이 드는 가을이 왔다. 가을은 예로부터 ‘천고마비의 계절’이라 하였으며 공부하기에도 좋고 놀기에도 좋아 몸과 마음을 살찌우기 좋다. 들판에는 황금빛으로 물든 벼이삭이 추수의 손길을 기다리고, 붉게 펼쳐진 고추 말리는 모습도 정겹다. 과일가게에는 사과 · 배 · 감 · 밤 등이 풍성하게 진열돼 있어 더욱 가을을 느끼게 한다. 이와 같이 풍요로운 정경의 가을이지만 아침 · 저녁과 한낮의 기온차가 심한 환절기이므로 감기 등 호흡기질환을 조심하고, 규칙적인 생활과 함께 균형 잡힌 식생활을 실천하여 건강한 가을을 보내야겠다. 이번호에는 바람직한 가을철의 어린이 영양관리를 위하여 전호에 실렸던 어린이 영양권장량 · 일일 섭취 식품 구성량 등을 고려하고, 한국인을 위한 식사지침들을 근거로 한 어린이의 건전한 식습관과 식생활문화형성을 위한 어린이들을 어떻게 이끌어나가는 것이 좋은지에 대해 생각해 보고자 한다.

Nonaxisymmetric bifurcation behaviours of composite tubes two different materials subjected to uniform radial shrinkage at the external surface have been investigated and compared with those of single tube. The effect of material parameters normalized with respect to those of outer tube upon the bifurcation point and corresponding mode has been clarified. The parameters substantially affect the bifurcation mode with long-wavelength so that the composite tube with low hardening exponent or with high yield stress of inner tube destabilizes the overall deformation of the tube. However surface type bifurcation, short-wavelength mode, shown on the traction-free inner surface is hardly affected by the material parameters. The surface type bifurcation completely depends on the material characteristics of inner tube and the bifurcation point of composite tube almost coincides with the of single tube.

This paper describes a study to determine proper escape way interval for the design phase of single bored double track tunnel. Among many methods which determine escape way interval, we choose a QRA(Quantitative Risk Analysis) method. But a different method must be chosen differ from other country because of special design situation of Korea. So, it is necessary to develop a method which considers a special design condition of Korea. Because fire accidents of railway tunnel are a rare event, simulated situation can be produced by CFD simulation and evacuation analysis simulation. However, it is generally difficult to estimate of fatalities from these methods, so a concept of FED is introduced to estimate of fatalities. Quantification process provides effective results for practical design stage and the result were employed in design.

This paper proposes an improved algorithm of the daily peak load forecasting for Korean Thanksgiving Day and the Lunar New Year's day. So far, many studies on the short-term load forecasting have been made to improve the accuracy of the load forecasting. However, the large errors of the load forecasting occur i case of Korean Thanksgiving Day and the Lunar New Year's Day. In order to reduce the errors of the load forecasting, the fuzzy linear regression method is introduced and a good selection method of the past load pattern is presented. Test results show that the proposed algorithm improves the accuracy of the load forecasting.

From the crude saponin obtained from the pods of Gleditschia officinalis seven spots were identified by TLC and quantity of gleditschia B was the highest among them. Ten kinds of prosapogenins were identified from the partial hydrolysates of crude saponin and found that prosapogenin E contain oleanolic acid as a sapogenin and prosapogenin F does echinocystic acid as the sapogenin. Hydrolysis of crude saponin yield glucose and rhamnose and the same sugar were also identified from the mixture of prosapogenin E and F.
