A Study on Fuzzy Rule Functional Verification for Threshold Value Prediction of Buffer in ATM Networks (ATM 망에서 버퍼의 임계값 예측을 위한 퍼지 규칙 기능 검증에 관한 연구)

  • In this thesis, we created a Fuzzy rule in a Fuzzy logic that are Fuzzy logic which is composed of linguistic rules and Fuzzy inference engine for effective traffic control in ATM networks. The parameters of the Fuzzy rules are adapted to minimize the given performance index in both cases. In other words, the difuzzification value controls the threshold in the buffer to arrival ratio to traffic priority (low or high) using fuzzy set theory for traffic connected after reasoning. Also, show experiment result about rule by MATLAB6.5 and on-line bulid-up to verify validity of created Fuzzy rule. As a result, we can verify that threshold value in buffer is efficiently controlled by the traffic arrival ratio.

  • In this paper, we proposed the fuzzy control algorithm for efficient buffer control about traffic that is connected in ATM networks. The proposed Fuzzy control algorithm has total traffic arrival ratio, buffer occupancy ratio and Fuzzy set to search for dynamic service rates in server. That is, is based on Fuzzy logic according to the arrival ratio of total traffic and buffer occupancy ratio that is happened and reasoning. Then, made reasoning result control service rates in server about traffic that is connected with defuzzification value. Performance analysis result: it was confirmed that with the proposed scheme, performance improves at cell loss rate, when compared with the existing PBS scheme.

  • An artificial neural network is a computational model that mimics the biological system of the brain and it consists of a number of interconnected processing units where it can reasonably infer by them. Because the neural network is particularly useful for evaluating systems with a multitude of nonlinear variables, it can be used in experimental results predictions, in structural planning and in optimum design of structures. This paper describes the basic theory related to the neural networks and discusses the applicability of neural networks to predict the ultimate shear capacity of the precast concrete vertical joints by comparing the neural networks with a conventional method such as regression.

  • AI-based speed prediction studies have been conducted quite actively. However, while the importance of explainable AI is emerging, the study of interpreting and reasoning the AI-based speed predictions has not been carried out much. Therefore, in this paper, 'Explainable Deep Graph Neural Network (GNN)' is devised to analyze the speed prediction and assess the nearby road influence for reasoning the critical contributions to a given road situation. The model's output was explained by comparing the differences in output before and after masking the input values of the GNN model. Using TOPIS traffic speed data, we applied our GNN models for the major congested roads in Seoul. We verified our approach through a traffic flow simulation by adjusting the most influential nearby roads' speed and observing the congestion's relief on the road of interest accordingly. This is meaningful in that our approach can be applied to the transportation network and traffic flow can be improved by controlling specific nearby roads based on the inference results.

  • Recently, with the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning, the importance of conversational artificial intelligence chatbots is being highlighted. In addition, chatbot research is being conducted in various fields. To build a chatbot, it is developed using an open source platform or a commercial platform for ease of development. These chatbot platforms mainly use RNN and application algorithms. The RNN algorithm has the advantages of fast learning speed, ease of monitoring and verification, and good inference performance. In this paper, a method for improving the inference performance of RNNs and applied algorithms was studied. The proposed method used the word group expansion learning technique of key words for each sentence when RNN and applied algorithm were applied. As a result of this study, the RNN, GRU, and LSTM three algorithms with a cyclic structure achieved a minimum of 0.37% and a maximum of 1.25% inference performance improvement. The research results obtained through this study can accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence chatbots in related industries. In addition, it can contribute to utilizing various RNN application algorithms. In future research, it will be necessary to study the effect of various activation functions on the performance improvement of artificial neural network algorithms.

  • CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment)은 기존의 공급망 개선에 관한 어플리케이션이 갖는 문제점인 정보의 부정확성, 시스템의 단절, 관련 기업 간 협력의 부족 등과 같은 여러 장해요소들을 극복하기 위한 목적으로 설계된 최신 비즈니스 모델로서, 이는 공급망의 총재고를 최소화하기 위해서 공급망의 모든 구성원들이 최종소비자의 실제 수요정보에 근거하여 계획(Planning), 예측(Forecasting), 그리고 보충(Replenishment)을 시스템 상에서 협력적으로 결정하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 구성원들 간에 발생할 수 있는 예외적인 사항들을 CPFR시스템의 예측단계에서 판별하고, 그러한 예외 사항들을 역동적으로 다루기 위한 지식기반 협업 에이전트 시스템(Knowledge-Based Collaboration Agent System)을 제시한다. 또한 지능적 추론(Reasoning)과 학습(Learning)을 통해 구성원들에게 예외 사항에 대한 최적의 해결안을 제시함으로써 협업 시스템의 자동화를 구현한다.

  • Self Organizing Maps(SOM) by Kohonen is very fast algorithm in neural networks. But it doesn't show sure rules of training results. In this paper, we introduce to Bayesian Learning for Self Organizing Maps(BLSOM) which combines self organizing maps with Bayesian learning. So it supports explanatory power of models and improves prediction. BLSOM has global optima anywhere but SOM has not. This is proved by experiment in this paper.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 퍼지 엔트로피를 이용하여 비선형신호를 예측하는 것이다. 이 방법은 분할된 여러 부 공간(subspace)에 대해 입력 데이터로부터 퍼지 엔트로피를 이용하여 각각의 규칙에 등급을 정하여 불필요한 제어규칙을 제거하여 바람직한 규칙베이스를 구성하도록 한 것이다. 적용되는 퍼지 신경망의 기본적인 구조는 퍼지 제어기의 규칙베이스와 추론의 과정을 신경회로망을 이용하여 구현하며 퍼지 제어규칙의 매개변수들은 역전파 알고리즘에 의해 적응되어진다. 또한 매개변수의 수를 줄이기 위하여 제어규칙의 결론부의 출력값은 신경망의 가중치로 구성하였다. 결국 퍼지 신경망의 복잡도를 줄일 수 있다. Mackey-Glass 시계열의 예측에 대한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 본 논문에서 제안한 방법의 효율성을 입증하고, 제안된 방법을 EEG 생리신호 분석에 이용될 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we proposed the FNCAC (fuzzy neural call admission control) scheme of the ATM networks which used the benefits of fuzzy logic controller and the learning abilities of the neural network to solve the call admission control problems. The new call in ATM networks is connected if QoS(quality of service) of the current calls is not affected due to the connection of a new call. The neural network CAC(call admission control) system is predictable system because the neural network is able to learn by the input/output pattern. We applied the fuzzy inference on the learning rate and momentum constant for improving the learning speed of the fuzzy neural network. The excellence of the proposed algorithm was verified using measurement of learning numbers in the traditional neural network method and fuzzy neural network method by simulation. We found that the learning speed of the FNCAC based on the fuzzy learning rules is 5 times faster than that of the CAC method based on the traditional neural network theory.
