Development of Operation System for Unmaned Automatic Navigation Vehicle for Water Quality Sampling (자율항법 자동수질측정 무인선박장치 운영시스템 개발)

  • 농업용저수지 수질측정 현황은 17,600여 개소 농업용저수지 중 농업용수 수질측정망 조사시설은 저수지 800개소이며, 농업용 호소로서 환경부 조사 시행 호소수질측정망시설 26개소(저수지 16개소, 담수호 10개소)를 포함한 826개소를 대상으로 농업용수 수질을 분석 평가하고 있다. 저수지 자율항법 자동수질측정을 위하여 개발한 운영시스템은 내용적측정 무인탐사선과의 연계운항 제어모듈 개발 및 저수지 수질측정을 위한 최적항로 운항모듈을 개발하였다. 자율항법 무인탐사선의 자동수질 측정을 위한 운항 제어 알고리즘 설계를 위하여 기존의 자율항법 탐사선의 운항 알고리즘과 수질자동 측정장치 제어 알고리즘을 분석하여 연계 제어모듈을 설계하고 프로그래밍 하였다. 운영과정은 선박운영 프로그램에서 수질모니터링 프로그램으로 Operation Start 명령을 전송하면 수질모니터링 프로그램에서 이 명령을 수신한 이후에 윈치제어 및 수질측정, 각 해당 수심에서 시료채수를 수행한 이후에 Opeartion End 신호를 선박운영 프로그램에 전송하면 다음 지점으로 이동할 수 있도록 하였다. 이를 통하여 효율적인 농업용저수지의 무인자동 수질측정 및 채수기술을 개발 제공하도록 하겠다.

Evaluation of Mix Design for Asphalt Mixtures by Bailey Method (Bailey Method를 이용한 아스팔트 혼합물 최적배합설계 평가)

  • In general, there are needed lots of time and experiments for determination of optimum asphalt content and mix design. The experimental results are highly depended on the skill of testers. Bailey suggested the proper aggregate gradation of hot mix asphalt are a function of special size and passing percent of the specified aggregate to reduce the test errors. In this paper, the asphalt mix designs of 19mm dense graded mix and PA-20mm for FHWA were carried out, using Bailey's method. The use of Bailey method can cut down the testing times to get the proper aggregate gradation for asphalt mix design. In case of 19mm dense graded asphalt mixture, the measured values of CA, $FA_c$, $FA_f$ are 0.724, 0.440, and 0.455, which are within the suggested values by Bailey. Also, in case of PA-20 graded asphalt mixture, the measured values of CA, $FA_c$, $FA_f$ are 0.646, 0.476, and 0.450, respectively.

  • Korea is one of the world's major oil importers. And a few domestic ports are operating SBMs for transferring imported crude oil to shore facilities. Recently, Ulsan port is planning to install additional new SBM and to move the existing two SBMs to other places according to the establishment of breakwater caused by the development of Ulsan New Port. However, there are no systematic and consistent standards for fixing the most suitable position domestically and internationally. This study aims to propose the standard of SBM installation using SAW after analyzing the examples of SBM operation and previous researches at home and abroad, and proposing the distribution rate based on opinion survey of exports and related organizations.

브라디키닌 수용체 발현 및 길항제개발에 관한 연구

  • 신장에서 브라디키닌(Bradikinin, BK)의 생리적 역할을 규명하기 위한 첫 단계로 토끼신장 근위세뇨관의 일차배양세포를 이용, BK 수용체를 ($^3$H) BK를 이용하여 수용체결합실험을 함과 아울러 세포배양과정에서 여러 성장인자들의 BK 수용체발현에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 첫째, 토끼 신장의 피질, 수질 및 근 위세뇨관 둥 각 부위에 대한 BK 수용체결합 실험결과 신수질 부분에 가장 많은 BK 수용체가 발견되었으며 이때 해리항수는 0.52 nM, 그리고 최대결합부위는 mg 단배질당 112.5 fmol이었다. 둘째, serum free 배지에서 insulin, transferrin 그리고 hydrocortisone이 성장인자로 사용될 때 BK 수용체발현이 가장 높았으며 이 중 인슐린에 가장 큰 영향을 받았다. 한편 인슐린의 최적농도를 결정하는 실험의 결과 5 $\mu\textrm{g}$/ml매서 가장 높은 수용체발현을 나타내었으며 그 이상에서는 별다른 차이를 보이지 못했다. 세째, 위의 세 성장인자에 prostaglandin E$_1$이나 triiodothyronine을 첨가시 BK 수용체발현은 오히려 저하되었다. 네째, fetal bovine serum (FBS)과 위의 세 성장인자간의 수용체발현능을 비교한 실험에서 세포배양 후 첫 일주일에는 FBS가 세 성장인자보다 약간 나은 수용체발현능을 나타내었으나 그후 이주째에는 세 성장인자가 BK 수용체발현에 더 적절한 요소임을 보여주었다. 이상의 결과로 보아 토끼 근위세뇨관 상피세포에서의 BK 수용체발현은 세포성장인자로 insulin, transferrin, hydrocortisone 중 insulin에 가장 큰 영향을 받는것으로 보이며, 이들 세가지 성장인자는 serum free 배지에서 세포성장 및 기능에 많은 영향을 주는 것으로 생각된다.prolidine이 $K_{M}$ /K$_{H}$ 비가 가장 높았고 diphenidol이 가장 낮았다. 이상의 결과로 보아 항 histamine제의 muscarinic receptor 차단작용은 이들 약물의 항 alleragy 효과에 필요한 작용이 아니며 본 실험에서 추정된 항 histamine제의 H$_1$-receptor와 muscarinic receptor에 대한 상대적 역가는 이들 약물의 선택과 평가에 중요한 지표가 될수 있을 것으로 생각된다.ing ischemic insults. The Study on Improvement Methods for The Seismic Performance of Port Structures (항만 구조물의 내진성능 향상을 위한 배면 지반의 보강방안에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the four types of improvement methods (increase self weight and reducing sliding force etc.) were proposed depending on install location with compaction grouting to improve seismic performance of existing port structure and optimal methods by analyzing the effects of improvement (stability, constructability and economy) by theoretical and numerical methods. From the dynamic time history analysis for artificial seismic waves, the results indicated that the horizontal displacement after improvement decreased compared to before improvement, however the displacement reduction effect among improvement methods was not significantly different. Slope stability based on the strength reduction method and the limit equilibrium analysis method, it is confirmed that the passive pile method is more safe than other methods. It is due to the shear strength at the failure surface is increased. In addition, the analysis of constructability and economy showed that the reduction of earth pressure method (type 02) and the passive pile method (type 03) are excellent. However, in the case of the passive pile method is concerned that there is a shortage of design cases and the efficiency can be reduced depend on various constraints such as ground conditions.

Automated Measurement System of Carotid Artery Intima-Media Thickness based on Dynamic Programming (다이나믹 프로그래밍 기반 경동맥 내막-중막 두께 자동측정 시스템)

  • In this paper, we present a method of detecting the boundary of the intima-media complex for automated measurement based on dynamic programming from carotid artery B-mode ultrasound images and then show the experimental results. We apply the dynamic programming for determining the optimal locations that a cost function is minimized. The cost function includes cost terms which are representing image features such as intensity, intensity gradient and geometrical continuity of the vessel interfaces. Moreover, we improve the boundary continuity by applying the B-spline to smooth the rough boundary due to noise such as speckle, dropout and weak edges. The proposed method has obtained more accurate reproducible results than conventional edge-detection by considering multiple image features and ensures efficient automated measurement by solving the problems of the inter- and intra-observer variability and its inefficiency due to manual measurement.

  • Digital-ship is the next-generation ship with an one-man bridge system which consists of INS(Intelligent Navigation System), AIS(Automatic Identification System), and IMIT(Integrated Maritime Information Technology). INS implements the functions is related of the ship's navigation, and supports in the digital GIS environments optimal route planning, stranding and a collision avoidance among the ship, an economic navigation, and an integrated control of ship's engine. AIS prevents the ship's collision by means of transmitting periodically the own ship's information to the other ship or the shore control center. IMIT systems supports the integrated fiat-form in ships, the communication between a ship and a control center of the land using the INMARSAT, OrbComm, Ocean Observation Satellite, and etc. The satellite communication in ships can monitor the ship at an earth control renter. This paper deals with the method for system implementation of digital-ship and the detailed sub-system.

  • The automation of container terminals is an important factor that determines port competitiveness, and global advanced ports tend to strengthen their competitiveness through container terminal automation. The operational efficiency of the AGV, which is an essential transport equipment of the automated terminal, can improve the productivity of the automated terminal. The operation of AGVs in automated container terminals differs from that of conventional container terminals, as it is based on an automated system in which AGVs travel along designated paths and operate according to assigned tasks, requiring consideration of factors such as workload, congestion, and collisions. To prevent such problems and improve the efficiency of AGV operations, a more sophisticated model is necessary. Thus, this paper proposes an AGV scheduling model that takes into account the AGV travel path and task assignment within the terminal The model prevent the problem of deadlock and. various cases are generated by changing AGV algebra and number of tasks to create AGV driving situations and evaluate the proposed algorithm through algorithm and optimization analysis.

Development of Robust-SDP for improving dam operation to cope with non-stationarity of climate change (기후변화의 비정상성 대비 댐 운영 개선을 위한 Robust-SDP의 개발)

  • Previous studies on reservoir operation have been assumed that the climate in the future would be similar to that in the past. However, in the presence of climate non-stationarity, Robust Optimization (RO) which finds the feasible solutions under broader uncertainty is necessary. RO improves the existing optimization method by adding a robust term to the objective function that controls the uncertainty inherent due to input data instability. This study proposed Robust-SDP that combines Stochastic Dynamic Programming (SDP) and RO to estimate dam operation rules while coping with climate non-stationarity. The future inflow series that reflect climate non-stationarity were synthetically generated. We then evaluated the capacity of the dam operation rules obtained from the past inflow series based on six evaluation indicators and two decision support schemes. Although Robust-SDP was successful in reducing the incidence of extreme water scarcity events under climate non-stationarity, there was a trade-off between the number of extreme water scarcity events and the water scarcity ratio. Thus, it is proposed that decision-makers choose their optimal rules in reference to the evaluation results and decision support illustrations.

A Study on the Properties of Foamed Concrete with Plaster Using the Experimental Design (실험계획법을 이용한 석고 혼입 기포콘크리트의 특성에 관한 연구)

  • This research was performed through the experimental design to get the statistical analysis on foamed concrete mixed plaster with hydrogen peroxide. In this experiment, we set the ratio of each material, which part of lightweight concrete, as experimental factors and evaluated on the mechanical properties by statistical analysis for response variables obtained from experiments. Experimental factors are plaster replacement, water binder ratio, and hydrogen peroxide ratio. Response variables are dry density, compressive strength, and flexural strength. Mixing design of the foamed concrete set up a total of 15 experimental points by Box-Behnken (BB) method of the response surface analysis. Thus, the results of a study were summarized as follows. Values of the probability in experimental factors (plaster replacement, water binder ratio and hydrogen peroxide ratio) on the response variables were estimated to be significant at the 95% of confidence limit. On response surface analysis for dry density of foamed concrete, water binder ratio and hydrogen peroxide ratio were estimated to be significant (${\alpha}$ = 0.05), and the relationship between the amount of void and the water content for dry density is inverse proportional. On response surface analysis for the compressive strength of foamed concrete, water binder ratio, hydrogen peroxide ratio and (hydrogen peroxide ratio)$^2$ was estimated to be significant (${\alpha}$ = 0.05). On response surface analysis for the flexural strength of foamed concrete, water binder ratio, hydrogen peroxide ratio was estimated to be significant (${\alpha}$ = 0.05). Through multi response surface analysis, we found the optimal area that meets performance goals.
