HNS 선박의 객체지향 항로 설계에 관한 연구

  • 선박 항로 설정 시 안전성, 효율성, 편리성 확보 측면에서 항해자들의 경험 기반 주관적인 의사결정에 여전히 의존하였다. 본 연구에서는 HNS(Hazardous and Noxious Substance) 운송 선박의 항해 중 조우하는 고정 위험(Hazard)으로 인해 발생하는 해상교통 사고의 위험성(Risk)를 기반으로 등위험도 곡선(Risk Contour)을 표시하고, 목적별 객체 지향 설정 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법을 실험 해역에서 검증하고, 실제항로와 비교, 평가하였다. 여러 조건과 항로에서 반복적 검증과 실시간 정보 송 수신이 가능해지면, 항해사의 최적항로 설정방법이나 자율운항선박에도 활용이 기대된다.

A Dynamic Route Search Algorithm for Time-Sensitive Air Cargo in Air Traffic Management (항공교통관리에서 시간에 민감한 항공운송을 위한 동적 항로탐색 알고리즘)

  • Air Traffic Management(ATM) is to control air traffic flow quickly and safely. For efficient ATM, the ability which calculate optimal route using filight plan and filght information is required. Especially for the time-sensitive air cargo, it is essential. In this paper, therefore, we present a dynamic route search algorithm which calculate optimal route dynamically. The conventional method using Dijkstra algorithm has a problem that recalculate the entire route when some airways are closed. However, the proposed algorithm recalculates only affected waypoints, so it finds optimal route quickly and accurately. Comparisons with the conventional method and the proposed algorithm show that the proposed algorithm provides better.

  • Marine accidents of 70.9% have been caused by small ships less than 100 tons in the past 5 years(1998${\sim}$2002). This is ascribable to the graying and lack in expertise on shipping of small ship operators, and merchant ships are hindered from coastal navigation due to the increase of coastal fishing boats and liners. Currently, ECDIS and GPS Plotters are widely used as navigation equipment providing route information to operators, but it can not give any function of automatic route creation and route explanation, so they are available only experienced operators. Especially, the present situation is that no study is made of the automatic route creation and route explanation using ENC for ECDIS, substitution system of paper chart. In this paper, Navigation Guiding System(NGS) is proposed to generate an optimal route where ENC and GPS data is fusioned including the wind speed and direction of anemometer. The proposed system was testified by a simulation, and its effectiveness was verified.

등부표 최적배치 원칙을 결정하기 위한 방법

  • 출입항로에서 중요한 역할을 하는 등부표는 주로 항로를 표시하거나 위험 장소를 표시한다. 등부표를 적절한 간격으로 배치하여 항해자가 자연스럽게 이용할 수 있도록 하는 것이 다른 항법시스템이 없더라도 안전을 확보할 수 있는 길이 될 것이다. 이런점에 고려하여 이 논문에서는 동부표의 적절한 배치(이하 '최적 배치'라 한다.)를 하기 위한 원칙을 제시하려고 한다. 이 원칙을 먼저 항만의 수역 설계와 관련한 규정을 검토하고, 면담 및 설문 조사에서 얻은 결론, 실측한 등부표 시인거리, 마지막으로 개개의 항만에 어떻게 적용되는가를 탑 혹은 풀미션 선박조종시물레이터으로 검증하는 방법으로 진행하려고 한다.

Establishment of Navigational Risk Assessment Model Combining Dynamic Ship Domain and Collision Judgement Model (선박동적영역과 충돌위험평가식을 결합한 항해위험성평가모델 전개)

  • This paper considers the Marine Traffic Risk Assessment for fixed and moving targets, which threaten officers during a voyage. The Collision Risk Assessment Formula was calculated based on a dynamic ship domain considering the length, speed and maneuvering capability of a vessel. In particular, the Navigation Risk Assessment Model that is used to quantitatively index the effect of a ship's size, speed, etc. has been reviewed and improved using a hybrid combination of a vessel's dynamic area and the Collision Risk Assessment Formula. Accordingly, a new type of Marine Traffic Risk Assessment Model has been suggested giving consideration to the Speed Length Ratio, which was not sufficiently reflected in the existing Risk Assessment Model. The larger the Speed Length Ratio (dimensionless speed), the higher the CJ value. That is, the CJ value is presented well by the Speed Length Ratio. When the Speed Length Ratio is large, states ranging from [Caution], [Warning], [Dangerous] or [Very Dangerous] are presented from a greater distance than when the Speed Length Ratio is small. The results of this study, can be used for route and port development, including dangerous route avoidance, optimum route planning, breakwater width, bridge span, etc. as well as the development of costal navigation safety charts. This research is also applicable for the selection of optimum ship routing and the prevention of collisions for smart ships such as autonomous vessels.

  • 디지털 선박(Digital Ship)이란 항해의 안전과 효율적 운행을 위해 항해, 조정, 상태감시 등 선박운행에 대한 전반적인 내용들을 컴퓨터를 통해서 구현하고 위성통신을 통해서 육상에서도 제어할 수 있는 완전 자동화 및 네트워크화 된 시스템을 의미하며 궁극적으로 무인화된 선박을 지향한다. 또한 통한항해시스템이란 선박의 경제적이고 안전한 운항을 위해 전자해도와 레이더를 이용하여 선박의 항로를 계획하고 감시하며 최적 항로 분석, 충돌/좌초방지 및 자동항법시스템과 연계한 자동항해 기능을 수행한다. 본 논문은 디지털 선박을 위하여 항해정보시스템과 항해 장비 통합장치 및 통신서버를 기반으로 한 전자해도와 레이더, 자동항법장치(autopilot) 및 각종 항해센서의 다기능 표시장치의 기능과 인터페이스 방안을 제시하였다.

  • For the safety and efficiency of voyage, the demand for decision support system in route planning has been increasing with the advance of information technology and the increase of oil price. According to the needs, the authors developed an optimum route assessment system. The system assists an navigator to make an optimum route plan with respect to sailing time and fuel consumption using weather forecast data. Also, the system provides the quantitative estimation for the various safety indexes including parametric roll and etc. Using these functions, a navigator is able to design the safe and efficient voyage plan. The effectiveness of system were verified by the operation during actual voyages and the simulation studies.

Development of a Calculation Model for an Optimal Safe Distance between Ship Routes and Offshore Wind Sites (선박 통항로와 해상풍력단지 간 최적의 이격거리 산정 모델 개발)

  • Globally, several countries with sea are using eco-friendly energy resources through offshore wind power development by overcoming the weak point of the existing power generation method. The sea has the advantage of being able to develop large scale wind farms in wide waters, but the installation of marine structures threatens the safe operation of vessels. Accordingly, a standard guideline for safe navigation by analyzing the mutual effects between ship routes and offshore wind site was presented by the PIANC. Nonetheless, the standard guideline calculated the same safe distance in all situations. Therefore, this study developed a calculation model for an optimal safe distance between ship routes and offshore wind sites by reflecting the ship's maneuvering, encounter situations, environmental force, traffic density, offshore wind power generators, and channel types. As a result of the validation simulation, the developed model showed that the optimal safe distance was secured.

A Study On the Safe Width and Alignment of the Navigational Channel (선박의 안전을 위한 최적 항로배치 및 항로폭 결정에 관한 연구)

  • Although the studies carried out in recent years have provied much new information about channel widths and alignment, they are not consistent in their results. In addition, as a result of variations in local condition and type of traffic accommodated, the dimensions of the channel widths vary over a wide range. Therefore, the recommendation made by the maritime engineering organizations over the world, do not offer detailed and decisive optimal design criteria and are all different. It, therefore, was attempted in this paper to draw a decisive guideline on the optimal widths and alignment of the navigational channels, which can be utilized by the port designers at the stage of the planning. The guideline was drawn through the comparison and analysis of the existing guidelines of the U.S.A, Japan and PIANC and simulation experiment. The simulation experiment was carried out using the "Off Line Port and Waterway Design Simulator" to find the optimal dimensions of the widths of the navigational channels. 90 different simulation runs were conducted at the 3 different secenario channels. New guidelines, the result of the study, is expected to be used usefully by the Korean port designers when designing the rapodly developing ports in Korea. in Korea.

멀티롤 랜턴의 LED 배열에 따른 배광특성 분석

  • 항로표지는 해상에서 선박의 안전한 항행에 필수적인 요소이며, 현재는 LED를 광원으로 사용하는 등명기를 개발 및 사용하고 있다. LED 멀티롤 랜턴을 개발하여 항로표지의 표체조명, 교량표지, 방파제 표시등 등으로 개발하고하는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이를 위하여 LED 멀티롤 랜턴의 내부 LED 배치에 따른 배광특성을 분석하였다. 본 논문에서 멀티롤 랜턴은 아크릴 환봉과 설치를 위한 금속재로 구성하였으며, 내부에 LED를 2열로 배치하였다. 최적의 설계를 위하여 아크릴 환봉을 투명한 것과 유백색인 것으로 구분하고 2열의 LED 모듈에 집광렌즈($45^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$, 미설치)에 따른 배광특성을 분석하였다. $60^{\circ}$ 집광렌즈를 사용한 경우의 시인효과가 우수하여 이를 바탕으로 LED 멀티롤 랜턴을 최종적으로 설계하였다. 투명 아크릴 환봉에 2열의 LED를 배치하고, $60^{\circ}$ 집광렌즈를 사용한 평판형 및 v형의 2종과 집광렌즈를 사용하지 않은 v형 1종으로 선정하고, 녹색과 홍색으로 제작하여 LED의 배열에 따른 배광특성을 본석하였다.
