The Quality Characteristics of Noodles Containing Roasted Liriopis Tuber (맥문동 국수의 제면적성 및 품질특성)

  • This study investigated the quality characteristics of noodles containing roasted Liriopis tuber. Roasted Liriopis tuber powder (LTP) was added in different amounts based on wheat flour (1%, 3%, 5%, 7% and 9%). Cooked noodles containing LTP exhibited significantly lower values for weight, volume, and water absorption; in contrast, higher values were exhibited for turbidity. The Hunter L value (for lightness) of uncooked and cooked noodles decreased but the a value (for redness) and b value (for yellowness) increased with the addition of Liriopis tuber. Textural properties (springiness, cohesiveness, chewiness, and brittleness) measured with a texture analyzer significantly decreased with the addition of Liriopis tuber. From the sensory evaluation results, noodle containing 7% Liriopis tuber was considered the best. To improve the quality of noodle containing 7% LTP, activated gluten was added at different percentages of flour (1%, 2%, 3%, 4% and 5%). Cooked noodles containing activated gluten exhibited significantly higher values for weight, volume, and water absorption; in contrast, lower values for turbidity were exhibited. In addition, the textural properties significantly increased with the addition of activated gluten. From the sensory evaluation results, noodle containing 3% activated gluten was considered the best. In conclusion, noodle with 7% LTP and 3% activated gluten exhibited the most desirable qualities.

  • A methodology for the probabilistic determination of active storage capacity of an impounding reservoir is proposed with due considerations to the durations and return periods of the low flow series at the reservoir site. For more reliable probabilistic analysis the best-fit stochastic generation model of Monte Carlo type was first selected for the generation of monthly flow series, the models tested being the Month Carlo Model based on the month-by-month flow series (Monte Carlo-A Type), Monte Carlo Model based on the standardized sequential monthly flow series (Monte Carlo-B Type), and the Thomas-Fiering Model. Monte Carlo-B Model was final1y selected and synthetic monthly flows of 200 years at Hong Cheon dam site were generated. With so generated 200 years' monthly flows partial duration series of low flows were developed for various durations. Each low flow series was further processed by a nonsequential mass analysis for specified draft rates. This mass analysis furnished the storage-draft-recurrence interval relationship which gives the reservoir storage requirement for a specified water demand from the reservoir during a drought of given return period. Illustrations are given on the application of these results in analyzing the water supply capacity of a particlar reservoir, existing or proposed.

  • Wire bonding process in making semiconductor needs the most precise control and Critical To Quality(CTQ). Thus, it is regarded to be the most essential step in packaging process. In this process, pure gold wire is used to connect the chip and PCB(substrate or lead frame). However, the price of gold has been skyrocketing continuously for a long period of time and is expected to further increase in the near future. This phenomenon situates us in an unfavorable condition amidst the competitive environment. To avoid this situation, many semiconductor material making companies developed new types of wires: Au.Ag wire is one material followed by many others. This study is aimed to optimize the parameter in wire bonding with the use of 6sigma and QFD(Quality Function Deployment). 6sigma process is a good means to not only solve the problem, but to increase productivity. In order to find the key factor, we focused on VOB(Voice of Business) and VOC(Voice of Customer). The main factors from VOB, VOC are called CTQ. However, there were times when these main factors were far from offering us the correct answer, thus making the situation more difficult to handle. This study shows that QFD aids in deciding which of the accurate factors to undertake. Normally QFD is used in designing and developing products. 6sigma process is held more effective when it used with QFD.

  • 농업계고등학교 교과서는 농촌어메니티를 학습할 수 있는 최적의 교재로서 농촌어메니티 교육내용을 개발함으로써 청소년의 올바른 농업 농촌 가치관 형성 및 국민적 공감대 확산에 이바지하고자 한다. 대상 교과서는 농업계고등학교 교과서 39종으로 이루어졌으며, 연구방법으로는 우선적으로 1~5단계의 내용분석 척도를 설정하여(1단계는 어메니티 개념에 따라 반드시 수정이 필요한 내용, 2단계는 어메니티 개념에 따라 수정이 필요한 내용, 3단계는 어메내티 개념이 포함되었는지 판단할 때 크게 문제가 없는 내용, 4단계는 어메니티 개념이 포함되어 있는 좋은 내용, 5단계는 어메니티 개념이 포함되어 있는 교과서의 모델이 될 수 있는 내용) 판정하였다. 그 결과 1단계 어메니티 개념에 따라 반드시 수정이 필요한 내용을 선정하여 교과내용을 개발하였으며, 이는 어메니티 관점에 맞추어 실시하였다. 또한 내용분석을 통한 교과서 구분을 하여 A, B, C 유형으로 나타내었다. A유형은 내용분석의 결과 판정 1 또는 2의 분석 내용이 20개 이상 나온 교과서, B유형은 내용분석의 결과 판정 1 또는 2의 분석 내용이 10~19개 나온 교과서, C유형은 내용분석의 결과 평정 1또는 2의 분석 내용이 10개 미만으로 나온 교과서를 의미한다. 교과내용 개발 결과 총 262건의 교과내용 개발이 이루어졌으며, 문장 132개로 50.38%, 사진 105개 40.47%, 삽화 22개 8.35, 그래프 0.76%, 표 0.38% 등의 순서로 나타났다. 총 262개 개발내용중에서 '사회자원의 시설'부분에 대한 관점 77개로, '사회자원의 경제활동'에 대한 관점 64개, '문화자원의 경관'에 대한 관점 50개 순으로 집계되었다. 그 다음은 '자연자원의 자연'에 대한 관점이 47개, 문화자원의 역사'에 대한 관점이 9개, '사회자원의 공동체 활동'에 대한 관점이 14개 순으로 나타났다. 자연적 자원 18.31%, 문화적 자원 22,52%, 사회적 자원 관점이 59.16%로 '사회적 자원 관점이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 농업계고등학교 교과서에서는 농촌어메니티의 사회적 자원이 강조되어야 하며, 문화적 자원, 자연적 자원의 순서로 강조될 필요성이 있다는 것을 뜻한다. 즉 농촌어메니티개념의 확립을 이하여 현재 농업계 고등학교 교과서에서는 시설, 경제활동, 공동체활동 같은 '사회적 자원'을 보강하여 강조할 필요가 있음을 나타낸다.

  • 항공기의 플러터 현상을 예방키 위한 개발시의 주요 공학적 임무로는 플러 터 해석, 풍동 플러터 시험, 실기체에 대한 지상진동시험 및 비행 플러터 시 험이 있다. 이들 업무는 군용 항공기의 경우에는 군사 규격서, 민간 항공기 의 경우는 FAR 규정 등에 항공기 개발 및 개조시에는 필히 수행토록 명시 되어 있으며, 특히 개발항공기의 인증을 받기 위해서는 초도 비행전까지 필 수적으로 완료되어야 하는 업무이다. 이중 항공기 지상진동시험은 개발항공 기의 초도 비행전에 실기체를 대상으로 하는 구조 동특성 규명시험으로써 플러터 해석 모델의 정확도를 입증하고 그 해석모델을 수정하거나 개선시키 는데 필요한 구조의 동특성 변수들을 실험적으로 규명하는 시험이다. 이 시 험은 개발된 항공기의 초도비행허가를 획득하고 비행속도제한을 설정키 위 해서 초도비행 직전에 초도 개발 비행기를 대상으로 필수적으로 수행되어야 하는 필수적 시험이다. 이에 따라 개발된 항공기의 전기체 지상진동시험을 수행하였고, 시험데이터의 모달해석을 하였다. 이 시험을 수행하기 위해 3개 의 가진기를 사용하였고, 모두 159개의 지점에서 주파수응답 함수를 얻었다. 최대 48 채널의 데이터 획득시스템을 사용하였으므로, 네번에 걸쳐 측정위치 를 옮겨 전체데이타를 획득하였다. 지상진동 시험의 최종해석 결과는 유한요 소 모델의 유효성을 검토하는데 사용되었고, 시험 데이타를 이용한 가진응답 해석(Forced Response Analysis)을 통하여 비행플러터 시험시에 사용되는 플러터 가진기의 위치선정 및 가진력의 크기를 결정하는데 이용하였다.ncy)가 저주 파수대로 천이(Lower Shift)하는 현상이 나타났으며, 일정한 작업량이라도 작업중량을 줄이고 작업 빈도를 높여서 작업할 경우에 이러한 현상이 더욱 두드러졌다. 작업시간의 경과에 따른 MVIS의 감소 현상은 작업빈도가 높고 비대칭형 작업일 때 가장 크게 나타났다. 총손실을 줄이고, 상대적 비용절감효과를 갖게할 수 있다고 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 성인 여성기성복의 치수적합성을 높이기위하여 출산 후 중년에 접어 들면서 체형이 변화되는 것을 고려하여 연령을 분류하고(18세-34세, 30세-51세), 각 연령 집단에 따른 체형을 각각 3가지로 분류하였다. 이에 따라 의복 생산시의 총손실을 줄이기위한 상의, 하의생산시 필요한 부위별 최적규격치 간격을 제시하였다.적인 기능으로 보여지는 것에 좁혀서 작업능력의 연령증가 변화에 대하여다원적 평가를 하는 것이 실제적이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 인간이 가지고 있는 다수의 기능중에서 수지교 치성과 연령증가와의 관계를 조사한다. 만약 연령증가 만으로 수지교치성을 평가 할 수 없는 경우에는 어떠한 요인이 수지기민성의 변화에 영향을 미치는가를 검토한다.t list)에서 자동적으로 사건들의 순서가 결정되도록 확장하였으며, 설비 제어방식에 있어서도 FIFO, LIFO, 우선 순위 방식등을 선택할 수 있도록 확장하였다.   • In this study, new hydroxyapatite powder surface composites were investigated for protective effects against ultraviolet rays. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is biocompatible and does not cause nebula phenomenon on skin. We investigated the surface modification of hydroxyapatite to improve UV block and skin usage. Dimethicone, lauroyl lysine, triethoxycaprylylsilane and silica were used as coating agents for the surface modification of HAp. To prepare the composite complex of the modified surface, the dimethicone, lauroyl lysine and triethoxycaprylylsilane were prepared by a dry process, and silica by a hydrothermal synthesis method. The HAp-silica was chosen as the best composite powder when measuring its sun protection levels. We investigated the characteristics of the surface of HAp-silica by SEM, particle size analyzer and energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS). Additionally, the stability in the formulation, UV block effect, and safety in BB creams were investigated. In conclusion, HAp-silica prepared by the modification of HAp complex surface improved the skin usage and UV block effect by enhancing the white cloudy phenomenon. These results indicate that HAp-silica may be used for UV block cosmetics.

Quality Characteristics of Mulberry Fruit Seolgidduk Added with Citric Acid (구연산을 첨가한 오디 설기떡의 품질 특성)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the characteristics of mulberry fruit seolgidduk. Four percent additions of mulberry were evaluated as the most suitable concentration for seolgidduk, in order to improve the color of gum metal gray and sour smell. Therefore, in order to improve the preference, citric acid was added. The acidity of mulberry fruit seolgidduk increased and its pH decreased significantly by increasing the amount of citric acid. The moisture content of mulberry fruit seolgidduk showed no significant difference between the groups with added citric acid and the control group. The L value decreased as the citric acid concentration increased. Color a and b (Ed-define 'a' and 'b') values increased significantly by increasing the mont of citric acid. The hardness, cohesiveness, springiness, gumminess and brittleness decreased as the citric acid was added. From the sensory evaluation, mulberry fruit seolgidduk with 0.01% citric acid added was the most preferred in taste, chewiness and overall acceptability. These results indicated that mulberry fruit stolgidduk with 0.01% citric acid added showed the best quality.

The Optimization of Instant Pumpkin Gruel with Pumpkin Powder using Response Surface Methodology (반응표면분석법을 이용한 호박분말 첨가 즉석 호박죽의 최적화)

  • This study was conducted to develop the optimum mixing rates of a functional instant pumpkin gruel including pumpkin powder and to have the high preference to all age groups. The produced of this study were to optimum the composite recipe by making instant pumpkin gruel, respectively, with the different 16 experimental point with 3 replicates of the weight of pumpkin powder ($X_1$), roasted soybean flour ($X_2$) and gelatinized rice flour ($X_3$), and by quantities of the using response surface methodology(RSM). The color, pH, viscosity, and sensory characteristics(appearance, color, flavor, taste, viscosity, overall acceptability) were dependent parameters. The color of instant pumpkin gruel L value decreased with increasing amounts of pumpkin powder and a value and b value increased. pH and viscosity increased with increasing amounts of pumpkin powder and roasted soybean powder. The optimal mixing percentage of pumpkin powder, roasted soybean flour and gelatinized rice flour were 5.25 g, 3.00 g and 4.50 g for overall quality of 5.72 g, 4.30 g and 3.00 g for maximum score of overall organoleptic quality, respectively.

Natural herbal extract complex induces the degradation of alcohol and acetaldehyde and reduces the breath alcohol concentration (천연소재복합물의 알코올 및 아세트알데히드 분해활성 및 호기중 알코올 농도 감소)

  • This study is purposed to check up the natural 12 kinds of herbal extracts suitable for hangover and based on the results of contents of phenolic compounds, ABTS radical scavenging activity, alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH), and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH). Selected 8 kinds of herbal extracts are blended according to the efficacy and the pearson's correlation between each content and activity. C. sinensis var. sinensis, P. densiflora Gnarl and P. lobata Ohwi showed excellent ADH activity, P. lobata Ohwi had a strong correlation between the content and efficacy, and C. sinensis var. sinensis, P. densiflora Gnarl had a negative correlation. Through the ADH and ALDH activity test of F.1 to F.7, the F.7 showed the highest synergic effect and selected as an optimal formulation. F.7 intake-group, the breath alcohol concentration was significantly reduced to 58% after 30 minutes and 27% after 120 minutes, compared to right after alcohol consumption. After alcohol consumption, there was a significant improvement effect (p<0.05) in tired and thirst in the intake group compared to the non-intake group.

Ginsenoside Concentration and Chemical Component as Affected by Harvestin Time of Four-Year Ginseng Root (4년생 인삼의 수확시기에 따른 ginsenoside 및 일반 화학성분의 변화)

  • This study was conducted to know the change pattern of chemical components, especially proximate constituents, saponin and free sugars in roots of 4-year ginseng according to different harvesting time, and to find out the optimum harvesting time on the basis of chemical components in fourth year ginseng root. The crude protein content was 20.77% of the highest on the April (shootinzg stage),13.13% of the lowest on the June among all growing stages, and was constant at 17% after the August. But crude oil and fiber contents showed the highest value on the May (flowering stage). The content of total sugars which was the largest constituent among the chemical components in ginseng root was in the range of 60~7(1% during the all growing stages. It showed the highest value of 7l% on the June, but the lowest of 60% on the May. The total free sugar contents was the highest on the April (20.40%), but the lowest on the May (11.89%). The change pattern of sucrose contents (10.96-19.60%) was same as the total sugars contents (11.89-20.40%), on the other hand, the contents of glucose and maltose were not changed significantly during all harvesting times. The contents of crude saponins and total ginsenosides had the value of 7.60% and 4.09% on the May, respectively. That was statistically significant, but the other harvesting times were not. Therefore, on the basis of the only chemical characteristics in the four year-old ginseng root, we suggest that the harvesting on the May at flowering stage was most proper time.
